Work Text:

Yuga was in a meeting for one of the clubs he was in after school. They were talking about something having to do with some event coming up at the school, but he wasn’t exactly paying attention. He was wondering when it would be over because he was getting a little antsy. Yuga tried to distract himself with a little doodle he was doing in his notebook, but even that wasn’t quite working for very long. Mina encouraged him to keep himself hydrated, which he would have been okay with, except he drank a little more than he was able to handle. He didn’t want her to worry about him. Yuga knew that he’d regret drinking so much water later, but he was just doing this for his friend.

There was still rambling going on in the classroom they were using for this club and all it did was make him feel worse. Yuga felt his face to feel an unfamiliar texture. He felt clammy. Yuga groaned quietly to himself, hoping he wasn’t getting sick. He hated being sick. Whenever Yuga gets sick, he doesn’t always have control over things like this. That’s why he was out for a few days months ago. Sero noticed that the blond wasn’t acting like his normal vain self and he was being unusually quiet. He asked:

“Aoyama-kun, you okay?”

Yuga didn’t want to have Sero or anyone else worrying about him, so he said, “I’m fine.” He wasn’t fine at all. He wanted to save everyone the trouble. That’s all. Yuga had a hard time figuring out whether people were being genuine or they were just saying things like that out of pity. He knew that not a whole lot of people genuinely cared about him, so it was strange to hear someone ask him if he was okay.

Sero shrugged. “Alrighty then. You’ve been really quiet this whole time and really out of it.” Yuga rolled his eyes and continued to try distracting himself from how he was feeling. Well, at least physically. He gave the whole room a scare when he clung onto his stomach and put his head down on the desk with a pained groan. Sero rubbed his back to comfort him. He looked at him with slight annoyance. “Aoyama-kun, what’s going on?”

Mina perked up at the sound of the two boys talking to each other and went to see what was going on. Yuga straightened himself up and looked at Mina with dull violet eyes. She knew something was wrong, but Mina knew how Yuga was about sharing certain things with people. He would almost always hide his needs to protect his dignity. Sero felt Yuga’s face to find that it was bathed in a cold sweat. Yuga whimpered at the black-haired boy’s touch and scooted away. Mina asked Yuga:

“You’ve been quiet this whole time. What gives? You sick?”

Yuga stood up, gathered his things, and was about to walk out, but was stopped by the short pink girl. She suggested, “Maybe you should have someone walk you home, Aoyama-kun. Just so you’re safe.” Mina added, “Plus you look like you’re either gonna pass out or throw up.”

“Ashido-san, I won’t faint or vomit,” Yuga replied. He sighed. “I just need to go home.” The blond looked up at Sero. “Sero-kun, could you...umm...w-walk me home? I don’t want to be alone. I didn’t mean to snap at you.”

Sero smiled and wrapped his arm around the blond. “Of course! And you didn’t snap at me at all.” As soon as the taller boy grabbed his things, they both started walking to Yuga’s house. They were over halfway there and that was when Yuga suddenly stopped to hold himself. Sero blushed bright red and looked away. Once he pulled himself together, he said, “Aoyama-kun, if you needed a leak, all you had to do was tell me.”

Yuga hung his head in shame. He thought he would be able to keep his need to himself, but with his bladder being so full, it was pushing onto his support belt and making him feel very uncomfortable. The blond said quietly, “Oui...I do need to use the restroom. My stomach hurts.”

“How long have you been waiting?”

The blond said bluntly, “I haven’t gone since I left my house this morning.” Sero looked at him in shock. Yuga continued, “I-It’s because the bathrooms at school are dirty to me...I’d rather wait until I get home than use those dirty things. I don’t know how you do it.”

Sero laughed softly and replied, “Well, when you gotta go, you gotta go.” He playfully pinched the blond’s cheek. “You’re funny, Aoyama-kun. Never knew you were the type to not like public bathrooms.” Well, he didn’t mind them if he was the only one in there and they had been cleaned. Yuga blushed and looked away. His friend said, “There’s no need to be embarrassed. I understand.”

Yuga muttered something under his breath about how he was close to going right here in front of Sero if he didn’t stop teasing him for being bladder shy. He wouldn’t be able to work up the courage to do that in front of anyone, anyway. Yuga once did that right in front of a teacher because they wouldn’t let him leave to go to the bathroom...or they just wouldn’t let him leave. He couldn’t quite remember what the reason was, but he knew he did that. It was back in middle school.

Both of the boys resumed walking and were right at the door of Yuga’s house. The blond gently sighed in relief. There is no way he’d lose himself right in front of someone like Sero. Yuga unlocked the door to his house and opened it. He then took his shoes off near the door and waited for Sero to do the same. Yuga never really had friends growing up, but he does have some now, so why not have one over every now and then? His mother encourages it.

Yuga smiled and said, “Merci, Sero-kun. My mother isn’t home right now, but would you like to come in and stay for a little while?” Sero nodded and Yuga closed the door behind them. As soon as they put down their bookbags, Yuga took off his uniform jacket and was breathing heavily. Sero gave him a concerned look and tried to help him stay balanced. Yuga gave him a thumbs-up to let him know he was okay and he went straight to his room to use the bathroom in there. The feeling of the hardwood floor going to his room was nothing, but it was the softness of the carpet that was a different story. The texture of the carpet against his socked feet gave him goosebumps. He made sure to lock the door so his friend wouldn’t come in to see him do anything that would make him even more of a laughing stock in his class. He had to be alone to do it.

As soon as he locked himself in his bathroom, Yuga knew that he was way past his limit. Frankly, he didn’t know how he was able to keep it in until he got here. There was no point in him getting his pants off because his swollen, throbbing bladder would have made it difficult anyway. With his stance wobbly, he turned the shower faucet on so Sero wouldn’t be able to hear him. Yuga sighed and said quietly, “Can’t keep it in anymore. I’m about to pass out...plus I feel sick. My pants are stuck as well...” A bit of it leaked out and began to dribble down his legs, but it wasn’t enough to be visible. He whispered, “It’s coming out whether I want it to or not. I can’t hold it anymore...I-I need to go.” His stomach was sore, his bladder ached, he was tired...too tired to even attempt to loosen his belt, let alone his zipper. The fact that Mina made him drink so much water didn’t quite help either. He couldn’t blame her for being a good friend though, despite how she’s acted around him in the past. Yuga relaxed and a flood cascaded down his uniform pants and the floor. He’d usually bawl his eyes out if it was in front of someone, but this time, it was different. He was just here, all alone. Yuga’s legs shook as he let out a few quiet moans, making him sink to his knees. He threw his head back and closed his eyes, feeling his bladder slowly shrink. Yuga knew this was a bit inappropriate, but he knew this would happen and he didn’t attempt to stop. It took a little while for it to finally stop, but once it did, his pants were completely soaked and he was sitting in a big, warm puddle. Even the bottom of his shirt was soaked. After turning the shower faucet off, Yuga rubbed his stomach and sighed in relief. He couldn’t get up for a few minutes because his legs were still shaking, but he didn’t care. After he managed to get up, he quickly cleaned up his mess, cleaned himself up, changed into his lounge clothes and threw his uniform in the washing machine. All he could do was hope that Sero wouldn't ask him about why he’s in his lounge clothes or why his uniform was in the wash. That would be not only awkward to explain, but also embarrassing due to the fear of this secret getting out.

Sero was studying a few things for his classes tomorrow and he was kind of surprised when Yuga came out with a dopey look on his face. He laughed. “W-Wow, you must’ve had to go. You were in there for a while.” Yuga nodded and sat down next to Sero. He added, “And you don’t look as sick as before.”

Yuga giggled. “My stomach feels a million times better.” He was trying to get some schoolwork done, but something about Sero’s facial expression was throwing him off. Yuga asked him, “Is something wrong?”

The taller boy smirked. “I heard the shower faucet and you’re not in your uniform. Mind telling me why?” Yuga felt as if his heart dropped to his stomach. He couldn’t bring himself to tell his friend what truly happened. Yuga was afraid Sero would tell everyone about it. Sero comforted him and said, “It’s okay to tell me. I won’t tell anyone...and I won’t laugh at you, I promise.”

The blond gulped. “I turn on the shower faucet when there are guests over because of how bladder shy I am.” He felt tears welling up. He continued, “I was too tired to even attempt loosening my belt and I...you know.” Yuga added, “It’s no big deal though.”

Sero was trying so hard not to bust up laughing because Yuga was the last person he could see having an accident like a toddler. He took a breather and gave Yuga a hug because he could tell the blond was about to bawl his eyes out. Poor thing didn’t want to say that he did the one thing people would laugh at him for. Sero stroked the blond boy’s hair and they were both silent for a little while. Yuga broke the silence with an outburst.

“You probably think I’m absolutely vile now and I’m sorry!”

“Huh?” Sero gave him a confused look. Yuga started crying out of nowhere. He said, “No, I don’t think you’re gross at all! Please don’t cry. It wasn’t your fault, okay? You’re just coming down with something and you couldn’t help it. A-And you were holding it all day, so you had to go sometime, right?”

Yuga sniffled. “B-But it happened while you were sitting right here...I thought you’d be laughing at me.” He continued to weep quietly until he said, “I-I’m so sorry.”

Sero held him close. “Hey, it happens. At least you feel better, right?” Yuga nodded. His friend added, “It’s a lot better to do what you did than you getting an infection anyway.” The blond couldn’t stop shaking and sniffling. Yuga knew he couldn’t hold it anymore, but he didn’t realize that Sero was still here and he felt humiliated. Sero gave him a friendly peck on the cheek. “Aoyama-kun, it’s okay. This will only be between us.” He wiped away the blond’s tears and kissed his cheeks to soothe him. When he heard a giggle come out of Yuga, Sero exclaimed, “There he is! He’s back!”

“Merci,” he said quietly. Yuga pulled himself together because he could hear the doorknob turning. His mom was home. He opened the door for her and said, “Maman!”

His mom came in the door, closed it and playfully pinched Yuga’s cheeks. “Oh, salut, mon petit chouchou.” She said, “Looks like you have a friend here.”

Sero nodded. “Yeeaahhh...he wasn’t feeling well, so I walked him home.” Yuga’s cheeks completely flushed bright red and his eyes were in a daze. As he was walking over, Sero said, “Aoyama-kun...you look even more ill than earlier. It’s scaring me a little.”

His mom nodded in agreement. She whispered something discreetly in Yuga’s ear and he said, “D’accord, Maman. Sero, I’m sorry, but I need to be alone for a little while. My mother is more than happy to take you home.”

“What’re you gonna do?”

Yuga smirked. “Don’t worry about it. It has nothing to do with you.” He walked up to Sero and whispered, “You know exactly what I was referring to.”

Sero gulped and said, “Y-Yeah...I get it.” He packed up his things and added, “Sorry if it’s because of me, Aoyama-kun.”

“Oh, non, non, non. You did nothing to cause this,” he said with a giggle. “You have a great night, Sero-kun...mon ami.” Sero blushed and went with Yuga’s mom so things wouldn’t get weird between them. As soon as they were gone, Yuga went to his room and locked the door.
