Summary
A young woman from the U.S., who recently survived a mass shooting that claimed the life of her best friend and left her with a permanent leg injury - along with severe depression, guilt, and deep emotional trauma - decides to escape her troubles for a while, and travels to South Korea so she can spend the summer in Seoul. While there, she befriends Min Yoongi after winning a spot at a BTS fansign, and soon she finds herself falling deeply in love with him.
Yoongi has also fallen in love with her, and wants nothing more than for them to be in a relationship. But he is carrying dark, disturbing secrets about his life as an idol that he doesn't want to tell her, secrets that could put both of their lives at risk, as well as destroy their relationship before it has a chance to begin.
