You Never Run Alone.

Summary:

When three best friends move to a new country, they definitely don't expect to wake up on their first day there with three strange men in their hotel rooms. Men who are apparently apart of a world famous singing group?

But...they've never even heard of them. And personally, Alex, Rose, and Iris think it's just a bunch of nonsense.

At least until they keep running into (read: away from) them.

Notes:

So this is my first time posting something like this and I'm nervous as heck. Hopefully this won't suck too bad? I don't know. Just...don't have high expectations. You will be extremely disappointed. Also in case you didn't read the tags, this fanfic is going to be veeeeery unrealistic. So if you don't like that sort of thing, go ahead and see yourself to the exit.

Also huge thank you to my awesome best friend for editing this for me!

Chapter 1: Rain.

Chapter Text

The late evening sky was filled with dark clouds. There were continuous rumbles of thunder and occasional flashes of lightning. Rain was pouring down and coating the city. People were running down the sidewalk, seeking shelter from the weather.

Three young girls quickly ran into a hotel and shivered at the cold blast of air from the A/C hitting their very wet forms.

"I. Hate. Rain. " Rose said bitterly as she clung to her younger sister for body heat.

Iris sighed and rolled her eyes. "Really? I wouldn't have known from the past eight thousand times you've said that since we got here."

"I'd say I'm sorry….but I'm not. We've spent an unholy amount of time on a plane, my legs are sore, I can't feel my butt, I haven't slept in at least twenty-four hours, and I'm jet lagged. So shut up and let me be bitter."

"Whatever. It's not my fault you can't handle losing sleep." Iris mumbled.

"Are you two done, yet?" Alexia asked sarcastically, stopping the other two girls from making any snide comments. "Because I'll leave you here if I have to. You know I will."

Rose and Iris looked away from each other muttering, "Fine."

"Good," Alexia said taking a deep breath. "Now let's get our rooms and get some rest. Lord knows we need it."

Before the three of them could reach the desk, Rose stopped and cleared her throat. "Um, I have to use the bathroom." She said quietly.

Alex and Iris had blank looks on their faces. "Okay...?"

She huffed and avoided looking either of them in the eye. "I'm in a strange country, I'm tired, I'm cold, and I'm scared. I'm not going alone."

"Come on, you big baby." Iris sighed and grabbed her sister's hand with the hand that wasn't holding her small suitcase before turning to Alexia. "You okay getting us rooms by yourself, Alex?"

"Yeah, I'll be fine. You two go ahead." She waved them off and continued walking towards the desk.

As Iris was standing outside the door waiting for her sister she noticed a somewhat large group of people walking through the hotel doors. As she studied the group she couldn't help but notice how attractive the seven guys in the middle were. But one especially caught her eye. As she looked him up and down, biting her lip softly, she couldn't stop the not-so-innocent thoughts that went through her mind.

Well hello there...

"Hello? Earth to Iris?" Rose's voice snapped her mind from its downward spiral into the gutter. Iris hadn't even noticed that her sister had come out of the restroom.

"Rose, look over there and tell me that is not the best eye candy you've ever seen." Iris said, nodding her head in the direction of the group, not taking her eyes off of them.

"Iris!" Rose nearly shrieked, hitting her sister less than softly on the arm.

"Stop yelling and look over there and die with me."

Rose rolled her eyes but did as her sister commanded. Once she caught sight of the group her eyes widened, and she started to cough harshly, looking in any direction but theirs.

Iris looked at her and raised a brow. "Did you just...did you just choke on your own saliva?"

"What? No, of course not. Don't be ridiculous." Rose said, though it was obvious she was lying.

"Mhm, sure." Iris smirked, once again looking at the group of gorgeous men. Specifically the one in the middle. The sleeves of the dark blue button down shirt he was wearing were rolled up to his elbows, and, as she looked him up and down once again, she couldn't stop herself from admiring the skin that was shown. She never knew that forearms could be so pretty.

Iris sighed, looking away from the group of far, far too attractive men and shifting on her feet. She always got hot and cold easily, and, right now, she felt like she was burning. She turned around and took off her jacket, sighing in contentment at the cool air. She ran her hand through her hair, making sure it wasn't knotty from being pulled back and stuffed so quickly into the very small hood of her jacket.

"My hair looks okay, right?" Iris asked, glancing at Rose.

"Um, Iris?" Rose coughed, looking behind her sister and ignoring her question.

"Yes?"

"I think one of the guys is looking at you."

"What? No. There is absolutely no way that any of them are looking at me." Iris refused to believe it.

"Okay, whatever you say." Rose smirked and looked back to the group.

Iris rolled her eyes with a huff and turned around, looking back to the one in the middle of the group and his stupidly attractive face, only to see that his eyes were looking right at her. Iris looked away so fast she was surprised that she didn't get whiplash.

Great. He probably thinks I'm weirdo who likes to stare at people creepily. Whatever, it was totally worth it. He's so pretty, I wouldn't mind-

"He should be illegal." Rose groaned, once again stopping Iris from letting her mind go to the gutter.

"Which one? They all look like they should be illegal." Iris muttered as she looked down at her white sneakers and kicked her leg back and forth. If she looked at them any longer she might actually combust. That and she didn't want to get caught again. But, of course, she couldn't keep her eyes away long, and, soon enough, she was once again staring.

The longer she looked the more she could feel herself get almost... angry. How in the world are they still dry when she and her companions looked like wet cats? And how dare they look that good? It wasn't fair at all.

"The one wearing all black, with the leather jacket...that looks exactly like mine." Rose said and felt her mouth go dry. How can someone who looks like that even be real?! He looked like he walked straight out of a magazine. As she continued to look at him, she felt her knees slightly weaken.

Iris looked at the one her sister described and almost gasped out loud. "What the... Is that what fallen angels look like?"

"I can only hope so." Rose sighed, quickly looking away when she saw his head turn in their direction. Her normally rosy cheeks turning even more pink.

The two girls continued to spare glances at the group as they made their way through the lobby. It was like they couldn't look away.

"Um, guys?" Alex said, appearing out of nowhere and causing Rose to yelp and cling to her sister while Iris merely flinched at the unexpected voice of their friend.

"Lex, quick, look at those guys over there." Rose said, not so discreetly pointing in the guys' direction before Iris slapped her small hand down.

"What guy- whoa." Alex's mouth almost dropped open at the sight of so much beauty in one place. She quickly brought her fingers to the corner of her mouth to make sure she wasn't drooling. She wasn't, thankfully.

"That is just wrong. How dare they." She mumbled to her friends, both of them nodding in agreement. They were all extremely good looking, no doubt about that, but one in particular caught her attention. He wore a pale grey turtleneck tucked into black slacks and a long white coat that went past his knees. On most people it would probably look stupid, but somehow he pulled it off. He was absolutely gorgeous and beautiful and ethereal, and he was looking right at her!

Alexia quickly looked away, and just knew that she was blushing.

After one of them was at the check in desk for a few moments, the group disappeared from sight, some of them going up in the elevator, and the others going in the direction of the restaurant Rose and Iris had caught a glimpse of when they were searching for the restroom.

"So," Iris cleared her throat awkwardly. "Did you get the rooms?"

Alex shook her head trying to rid her mind from her sinful thoughts. Iris's question helping bring her back to reality.

"Yeah, but not without a struggle." She huffed. "Apparently, they're really full right now, and there was only one floor with any free rooms left, and some famous singing group 'rented' the whole floor. I practically had to beg the guy to let us use two of the rooms on that floor. I even had to pull out the 'We have nowhere else to go.' card. It was exhausting."

"Oh, you poor thing." Iris said in faux sympathy, tilting her head to the side and placing her hand over her heart.

"Shut up." Alex rolled her eyes.

"At least you got the rooms?" Rose was clearly trying to be cheerful and hopeful, but the other two girls simply gave her unimpressed looks in return.

"Whatever, let's just get up there and get settled. I am ready to sleep for the next six months." Alex said as she, Rose, and Iris grabbed their bags and went to the elevators. As soon as the doors slid open, the girls rushed into the small space. They were all very eager to get some much needed rest after their long, long day.

Alex pressed the button with the number ten on it, and, as soon as the doors slid closed, Iris turned to the other two. "Okay, but those guys were seriously hot, and I cannot stop thinking about them. Especially the one in the dark blue shirt. He was just so..." She trailed off and then simply groaned while throwing her head back and closing her eyes.

"I liked the one with the super long white coat. Ugh, he was so gorgeous." Alex said, and then turned to Rose with a smirk. "What about you?"

"The one in all black, with the leather jacket like mine? Oh, man, he was beautiful." Rose's voice was nothing more than a dreamy sigh.

Alexia nodded. "Yeah, he was super pretty too. Good choice."

There was a ding, and the doors slid open, revealing white walls and a dark red carpet with gold designs. The girls stepped out, and Rose turned to Alex. "So which room is ours?"

"1019, and I'm in 1020." Alexia handed the key card to Rose, and the three of them walked down the hall until they found their rooms.

Iris and Rose turned to Alexia before entering their room.

"Night, Lex."

"Goodnight, Lexi."

"Night guys, see you in the morning." Alex sighed, turned on the light and closed the door, walking over to her bed and setting her suitcase on it. She opened it and took out a large t-shirt before closing the suitcase again and setting it on the ground at the foot of the bed. Alex quickly changed into the shirt and sighed in relief. Finally, she was comfortable.

She grabbed her phone and turned on the flashlight, quickly going over and turning off the light before moving back to the bed, climbing in once she had pulled back the blankets. Alex turned off the flashlight and set her phone down on the nightstand, nuzzling her face into the cool pillow and quickly drifting off.

Rose and Iris took a bit longer to get settled, with Iris taking a shower, and Rose washing her face and such. But, eventually, they had changed into their sleep clothes and were snuggled up in their beds, warm, dry and content.

None of them could have predicted what, or rather, who, they would find beside them the next morning.
