This universe is a bit weird! There are these things called pets that people above the wealthy line can own and bring wherever. These pets can be anything from simple sex pets to husbands and wives. No these are not hybrids, just humans that’re used for a real fucked up purpose. Pets are obligated to not abide by certain laws, like pets do not legally require clothing and can have sexual with their master anywhere. The only article of clothing a pet must be wearing at all times in public spaces is a collar with their owners name on it. Pets are legally obtained from human specific pet stores and are usually inexpensive. Some pets, however, can be really expensive, like ones that are classically trained but still virgins, ones with purebred lineage (people who have a fetish for one race, for example), ones with unmatched beauty or intelligence, etc.
Pets can ONLY be bred or willingly give themselves up. So people who need a place to stay and are willing to give away their rights, or people who were bred by a pet owner breeding their two pets together.
This was just a little preview chapter that i think is important to understand this universe.
