‘In recent news, it appears there has been a sudden increase of Quirk Deterioration in various Pro Heroes. The most recent victim being Captain Celebrity who was found late at night in a dumpster-’
Pausing the video, Izuku went back to reading the article while chewing on his pen in thought. As he wrote down his own speculations, he could see the person in the article describe the phenomenon in question and how it has been reported to be happening for over a century now.
Since the birth of quirks.
As he read further, he could see the article talk about an urban legend. How they would come into the night and ultimately leave someone permanently quirkless.
Izuku shook his head as he went over the various pros whose quirks deteriorated. He gulped, wondering if perhaps-
“No,” he said, pen falling from his mouth. “It’s just an urban myth,” he mumbled, going back to the video to see doctors claim that Captain Celebrity’s quirk deteriorated due to old age and how it’s a natural occurrence.
Though, something about one of the doctors looked very familiar…

Stuck to lurking in the shadows, All for One gave a content hum as he felt his newly acquired quirk. Basic flight, something that could be useful for either himself or his doctor’s pet project.
Speaking of which, he could hear his doctor grumble under his breath about how reckless taking a well known hero’s quirk was.
All for One decided to ignore his doctor for now. After all, he already learned a lesson when his grandson was used as one of the test subjects for the project. A decision All for One himself took immense satisfaction in.
Sad he couldn’t see the face of the boy when he forced more quirks into him. Not like it matters anymore since that boy is now just as mindless as the rest of the nomus.
