   Summary

   After the death of his son, John Smith is struggling to keep it together and continue on because as Oberstgruppenführer any sign of weakness is an opportunity for his enemies to pounce, putting both his and his family’s lives at risk. Kayleigh is a fighter in the resistance, but she’s lost sight of what is important. Hatred for her oppressors has overshadowed her belief that people are good and worth fighting for.
