    It’s been two years since the first case of the Great Plague was recorded, and one year since the Silence began. Despite this, and despite the fact that he can’t remember the last time he heard from his family, Lance still holds out hope for finding them. Keith, on the other hand, thinks holding out hope for anything is useless. He hasn’t had the best of luck with depending on people in his life, after all. Which is maybe why it’s so surprising when he finds himself depended on Lance and everyone else they come across.
