Summary
The first novel length fic in a trilogy : Oswald decides to marry to father an heir to his empire and finds the ideal woman in young, virginal Rose - but his mother is hostile and makes her feel unwelcome. Then Rose finds out why she does not want him to marry, when she claims the family is cursed, as Oswald falls dangerously ill with an inherited illness that could kill him. When Ed Nygma hears this news, he realises he still loves Oswald and begs him for another chance. This leads Oswald to make new plans for his dynasty - as he marries both Rose and Ed and takes on a multi spouse marriage, which is mutually satisfying for all concerned. Then Rose gives birth to Oswald's son.
But as Oswald's health worsens, it seems the only person who can help him is a secret lover from his past - Ivy Pepper, the mother of his young daughter Lilly...And can he really trust Ed, who struggles with his split personality, to look after his family as he fights for his life, or will Ed snap? This fic is the first of a trilogy that tells the eventual story of the Gotham Jigsaw killer - Penguin's daughter...Series
