Summary
The birth of Thorin's first child. As nervous as Thorin is about his wife giving birth, he is strong and supportive - giving love, strength, encouragement and help as much as he can. It is a birth story, but it's not so graphic to be disturbing. There is no crazy, screaming wife, threatening to harm her husband at the end. It's just a beautiful birth story in which, at the end, Thorin gazes upon his own child for the first time.
