Summary
What starts as a simple itch under Steve’s skin becomes a race to uncover the truth about Steve’s family, and a heritage he didn’t know he had. Secrets come to the surface, loyalties are questioned, and family comes to light in the worst way possible. And that’s before the real bombshell drops.
Based off of JoeLawson’s Between the Devil and the Deep Blue Sea fic. Unfortunately you do have to read that one before this, as a lot of what’s happening here is explained there.
