Aw, well this was just great.
Tsuyu looked down at her phone. It was 3:15, which means that she was supposed to meet Uraraka at some "hip, new cafe" in thirty minutes. Which would have been fine if Tsuyu wasn't totally completely lost.
The frog like girl heaved a sigh. Aizawa had finally given them a day off and what was she doing? Standing around clueless, seeing what person around her would be the best to ask for directions. God forbid she run into a jerk who would freak out for looking at them funny. So basically anyone like Bakugou. Tsuyu couldn't help but to giggle at the thought. Of course, she then remembered that her situation was less than desirable. She wasn't in the best place to make fun of people. Besides, Midoriya wouldn't want her talking about his Kacchan like that.
Even if it was true. Haha
Okay, time to get serious. She was Froppy, someone aspiring to be a pro hero. Surely she could handle being a little lost. Tsuyu looked over to see a middle aged woman sitting on a bench. Before she could head over to plead for some sort of help, someone grabbed her arm.
Before Tsuyu could react the person was already speaking, "There you are, silly! I haven't seen you in..." the girl trails off, her messy buns somehow staying in place as she shakes her head, "I don't know you."
"Afraid not, ribbit."
"Hm, well, that's not so bad! You're so cute! What are you, like a frog? Gah!" Buns (which is what Tsuyu decided to name the stranger) started giggling.
Tsuyu frowned, "Mind letting go off me?"
"Aw, I mean, kind of. You're just so cute! I don't want to lose you!" Despite her words, Buns let go.
Tsuyu rubbed her arm. That girl had not been gentle when she grabbed her. Looking back, Tsuyu saw Buns was still standing there.
"Um..."
"Hey, hey! Tell me, are you lost? You're kind of just standing around. I'd love, love, love, love, to help a cutie like you," Buns started laughing, face flushed, and Tsuyu could swear she saw fangs peeking out behind her lips.
"Well, yes, but..."
"Gah! Perfect! You're so cute...."
And with that, the stranger was pulling Tsuyu along, as Tsuyu tried to pull away, "Now hold on "
Alas, Buns was already walking off, "So where are you goin'?"
"Some place called Xa...Xancarpitia," as much as Tsuyu loved loved Uraraka, she hated the obscure, confusing places with dumb names she picked out.
"Oh! I know that place!" Buns bounced excitedly, "I'll show you the way right now. I like going this way because it's faster and there's less people."
Tsuyu made a point to stay behind as she was led. Buns may have seemed harmless, but there was a certain danger to her Tsuyu could not explain.
"So tell me, is this like, a date or something?"
"Huh? No," Tsuyu supposed the question wasn't too odd. People went on dates to cafes, right? Well, not that she would know. What was strange was Buns' follow-up.
"So, you're not dating anyone? Anyone at all? Flings?"
The dark haired girl almost felt insulted...just not enough to refrain from answering, "No. I want to be serious if I into a relationship, ribbit."
Buns turned on her heel, facing Tsuyu, "Oh...cutie, you have no idea how happy that makes me."
The other took a step back, "Wha..."
"Anywho! You to UA, right?" Buns singsonged, abruptly changing the topic.
"Well, um, yes, but..." Tsuyu trailed off, swearing he may have had whiplash. "How could you tell?"
"Ah! So cool! Well, I could tell cause you're in uniform," Tsuyu felt her face flush. She should have known, "Also, I just have great intuition. I can tell you're one of the good ones."
"Well, thank you," the hero knew she was giving in oddly easily, but it felt nice to be acknowledged from time to time, "Have you ever considered being a hero?"
Buns' smile instantly evaporated, "...No. No, I...I could never be a hero. Not with a quirk like...no."
Tsuyu couldn't help to feel bad. She seemed so genuine, "You're quirk doesn't matter. You could still...!"
"The world is hard and unfair. I do what I can. I can't be a hero. I've gotten over it, you should stop being stupid and do the same."
And then Buns was walking off. It may have been stupid, but Tsuyu felt a sort of kinship with her. Who was she kidding? It was stupid. And yet...
"Welp, here we are!" Buns smiled softly. "Your destination right around the corner."
They were in an alleyway, not another person in sight. It wasn't safe. She should have left.
"Thank you," before Tsuyu even finished Buns was walking off. And for some reason, "Wait!"
Buns turned around, "Hm?"
Ugh, what was she doing? "I'm Tsuyu Asui! I don't think you're trustworthy. Honestly, you seem really suspicious...but I still think you can be a hero!"
Buns stared at her for a moment, before her face split into a grin.
"Heh, you really are one of the good ones," Buns smiled to herself. "I'm Toga Himiko."
"You can call me Tsu!" Tsuyu quickly followed up. "All my friends do."
Toga's face split into a grin, "Tsu...Tsu! I love that. But, are we really friends?"
Tsuyu stumbled back as Toga moved closer to her, instantly regretting her hasty words, "I "
"Or," Toga beamed teasingly, "Are we a little something more?"
"I don't want to rush or anything," the other girl tried to move away. Toga was insane, so why did she choose to risk this exact situation? She should have known the moment there were no people around.
"Oh c'mon, Tsu," Toga pinned Tsuyu against the wall, oddly strong for a girl of her stature, "I need more of an answer than that."
She was Froppy damnti! She could get herself out of this. Tsuyu scanned her surroundings. Maybe she could just push Toga off of her and make a break for it.
That option was no longer feasible when Toga pulled out a knife. Sure, she could use her tongue, but what kind of quirk did Toga have?"
Toga looked at her, a wild look in her her eyes, she raised her knife and then...
Kissed Tsuyu.
What was going on? Tsuyu didn't move didn't think. Well, until she felt the harsh pain of teeth tearing through her lip. Turns out she had been right about the whole fang thing. In a moment of pure adrenaline and panic, Tsuyu shoved Toga off of her.
In response, Toga only grinned, licking some of Tsuyu's blood from off her lip, "Wow! So cute! You look even better when you're in pain. Ah, I wanna' cut you up and pull out your insides. Then I can suck on your blood and gauge out your eyes!"
Tsuyu backed away, shivering.
"You seem upset though...ah! That was your first kiss, huh? Gah, so embarrassing! My heart is racing!"
Tsuyu may have hated it, but her heart felt the same, "You...!"
"I really like you Tsu! I think you'll look even better when you're bleeding some more!" with that Toga was charging at Tsuyu.
The would be victim dodged just in time, tripping Toga.
She quickly recovered, but looked embarrassed all the same, "O-Oh. I-I'm usually better than that Tsu, I swear!"
Tsuyu got into a defensive stance, before Toga backed away.
"Oh well! I must go, but I wanna' see you again super soon." Toga giggled, putting away her knife. "One day, I'll be just as good as you, promise. Then I'll get you all bruised and bloody! See ya girlfriend!"
And with that, Toga was gone. Tsuyu dragged her feet towards the coffee shop, unsure of what to feel but fear.
Urarka perked up as she entered, "Tsu! So great to see you!"
"Hi..."
"Are..are you okay?" Uraraka frowned.
Tsuyu looked at Uraraka, her kind face, worried eyes, and suddenly her heart warmed, "Yes. I am now."
"Hm...I don't know," Uraraka wrapped her arms around Tsuyu. "You can tell me if something is wrong! You are valid!"
Tsuyu couldn't help but to giggle, "Valid? Really Ochako?"
Uraraka blushed, "What? I heard Kaminari and Kirishima running around the dorms calling each other that."
"But you know how they are," Tsuyu laughed, and suddenly Toga seemed so far away.
"C'mon Tsu! I'm being nice!"
"So how it your crush?"
"I do not "
"Right."
"Tsu!"
Tsuyu felt her blood run cold as she looked into that familiar face, yet she couldn't deny she felt a sick joy. An excitement.
"Ooh, who would have thought I'd see my beloved girlfriend so soon, and at a training camp no less?" Toga hummed, face aglow.
"Girlfriend...?" Tsuyu didn't miss how betrayed Uraraka looked in that moment.
"Ochacko, it's not like that " Was it?
"Huh?" Toga frowned, "Did are kiss mean nothing no you? I'm almost hurt, Tsu. I thought you wanted something real."
Uraraka held her arm, legs shaking.
She promised herself she'd kill Toga right then.
"My girlfriend Tsu, and her bestie Uraraka!" Toga grinned. "I sure am lucky! Now..."
Toga pulled out a knife.
"Let's have some fun."
