He may be 12, but he wasn’t dumb. He was much smarter compared to the other village kids. He could hear what they were saying, understand what they meant. They thought that because he was a kid, he wouldn’t understand, but they were wrong. He understood everything. Cursed. Wicked. A demon child. They thought he wouldn’t understand what any of that meant, but they were wrong. At first he didn’t know what they meant, but out of spite he figured it out. He started reading journals, books, then he knew. The villagers hated him, because they were afraid.
They just didn’t understand him, nor did they take the time to try. His parents were starting to hate him more and more with each passing day. His father was a preacher, and his mother was a seamstress. They were well respected in the village, until Yuu was born. After that day, everything changed.
In other words:
Yuu is a Black witch that is hunted for his crimes and for who he is and Mika is a White witch hired by a group of witch hunters to hunt down Yuu and kill him.
