    I wrote this for the Mystrade Advent Calendar that I just learned, through the @mystrade-advent-calendar tumblr, that due to lack of submissions isn't on this year. RATS!

    However, as I wrote it already, here it is for your reading pleasure.

    The rules: Mystrade at Christmas, a standalone story that's brand new and no more than 5,000 words. This baby is EXACTLY 5,000.

    A big thank you and shoutout to the Mystrade-Advent-Calendar people. This is the first prompt and/or challenge I've taken on and I enjoyed it thoroughly. I only regret that it isn't "official."
