"Rita's monster is attacking! What is it doing?"
"It looks like it's realigning our position in the positro-nuclear matrix of the timestream by using the pulsation of cathode rays to reconfigure the tertiary bioelectrical impulses of our bodies!"
"Once more, Billy. In English this time."
"He means that it's using the TV to send us in time!"
Now back to our show, Power Rangers Ninja Storm, only on Jetix!
Cam leaned back in his chair and pulled his earpiece off to groan quietly and rub his eyes. He'd been staring at his screen too long and his vision was beginning to blur. No, wait -- he dropped his hands and watched static make the screen jump. That was impossible. He'd set the cameras up himself!
"Uh, Cam. Are you seeing this?" Shane's voice was tinny in his earpiece and crackled with static.
"I see it, I see it." Cam lay his hands flat on the console, watching the newly arrived monster join with Marah and Kapri in battle with the rangers. Irritation at his own lack of powers made his heart beat fast.
"Man, guess being a ranger never changes, huh?" Cam glanced up at the voice, and a black boy in a striped shirt grinned and waggled his fingers. "Think they need some help?"
Dustin's yelp of surprise made Cam glace back down at the screen. It was jumping with static again, as the new monster pointed some sort of array at the rangers.
Last time on Power Rangers Dino Thunder!
"There's something weird going on with the computers. Hayley, could you give me a hand?" Ethan unplugged the monitor and stared at the static that still made the image jump.
Conner leaned against the table and peered down at Ethan. "That's not supposed to happen, right?"
"No shit, Sherlo--" The banter was cut off by an explosion that rattled the front window and made Hayley wince and mutter something about 'monster insurance'. "That's not good."
"And neither is someone stealing out thunder!" Conner pointed out the window, where two pink rangers were already deeply engrossed in trying to knock some sort of device from a monster's hands. "Hold down the fort, Hayley!"
Hayley opened her mouth, but, seeing as the boys had already raced out of the room, sighed and glanced at the still staticky computer monitor. She wondered idly if being the voice of reason was a good career choice, as the image on the screen mimicked the one outside, and the monster pointed its array at the newly assembled force of rangers.
Next week, on Power Rangers SPD...
The rangers looked each other up and down.
"Insubordinate," Sky grumbled.
"Stick in the mud," Hunter responded.
"I think I like these people," Jack said quietly to Syd, who nodded and tipped her head to get a better look at Conner's ass.
"Can we focus and beat up the monster, please?" Kimberly gave the entire group a general glare.
There was a mumble of assent.
"I really like your hair," Syd said to Trini while she punched the monster to keep it from point its device at them.
"Really?" Trini kicked it in the head.
"Yeah! Where'd you get those big, puffy scrunchies? I think retro is coming back into fashion!"
Billy missed hitting the monster properly by inches, and it managed to get a clean shot off with its array.
Yeah, here come the Power Rangers! GO MYSTIC GO!
Finally, a major problem they couldn't blame on Jenji! Jenji was pleased with that over all, but had to admit that their headquarters was frustratingly small when it was forced to house five ranger teams all at once.
"Jenji, I told you you shouldn't have brought that TV in here." Vida gave Jenji's lamp a swift smack, and accidentally elbowed Tommy in the ribs in the process. "Sorry."
Tommy smiled wryly. "No reason to apologize. I'm not much of a ranger if I can't take a little hit, right?"
"You want to test your endurance?" Vida looked him up and down and grinned slowly. Maybe this whole situation wasn't as bad as it seemed, after all.
"Hey! Flirting later, V. Udonna's managed to located the monster. Let's go kick its ass." Nick elbowed her sharply in the ribs as he passed by and Vida brely restrained herself from kicking him in the shin.
She made up for it later by kicking him as the monster lowered its array at them and fired at point blank range.
Don't miss the all-new episode of Power Rangers Operation Overdrive!
"I'm surrounded by criminals," Sky wailed. Jack and Will grinned at each other.
Rose sighed and rubbed her head. "If you two are done giving him an aneurism, we have a monster to defeat."
Billy grabbed her shoulder. "Rose," he said, "I have an idea! If we can use a vacuum filtered phosphor application on our molecular transmutation devices, I'm pretty sure we can channel his electron beams into an alternate frequency and use that to set everyone's vibrations on the wavelength we're supposed to be at."
Half the group turned to stare. "Say what now?" asked Dustin, speaking for all of them.
"He means that we can use the morphers to reverse what that thing's doing and send us all home," Rose and Trini said in unison.
Rose frowned at Trini and crossed her arms uncomfortably. "Anyway, we should do it as soon as possible. The longer we wait, the less likely it is we can correctly match everyone up with their home frequency." Billy nodded enthusiastically and squeezed Rose's shoulder with a giddy sort of energy.
Tune in at 4 pm, 3 pm centra--
Coming soon, on Disney XD. Power Rangers Jungle Fury!
Sparks flew from 30 different morphers, and four already morphed rangers in animal-patterned uniforms dodged the one new monster and 30 new rangers crash-landing in the middle of the already ongoing fight.
"Sorry about this," Jason said to the new red ranger, who shrugged, as though he met five teams of alternate rangers every day.
"Not a problem," he said, and kicked a rinshi in the face. "Let's just get these things away from Jungle Pizza."
"You have a pizza place? Awesome." Mack pumped his fists in triumph.
RJ spun a kick to knock down another goon sneaking up on the red rangers. "Best pizza in town. After we finish up here, I'll treat you all to a slice. You know what they say. Any ranger is a friend of mine."
"Watch out!" Kira yelled too late, as the monster lifted its device again.
"Geez, Ziggy! Turn that crap off."
"Whatever. There's nothing on anyway."
CRASH
"Uhm. Salutations and greetings. You wouldn't happen to have a spare molecular transmutation device on you, would you?"
