“You never went home last night,” Cordelia says to Lindsey when she gets to the office. “And don’t even try to deny it. I was going to feed you this morning, but no one was home.”
“Would you believe me if I said I just woke up early.”
“You’re wearing Angel’s shirt.”
Lindsey blushes. “Didn’t think you’d notice.”
“Wesley won’t. Neither will Gunn if he drops by.”
Lindsey nods. “Coffee will be ready in a minute.”
“Did you do more than kiss this time?”
“Cordelia!”
“Does he at least still have a soul?” she asks.
“I had gotten in his face about Darla and we were both pissed. Yes, he still has a soul.”
“Good. Last time he lost his soul, it got pretty ugly.”
“Well it’s not like either of us was thinking about the curse last night.”
“Just don’t make too much noise if you take him back to your place,” Cordy says, laughing at a Lindsey’s shocked expression.
