Work Text:
“When’s the lease on this place run out?” Angel asks, wincing as he can hear Cordelia yelling at Dennis through the wall.
“Not soon enough,” Linsdey mutters, handing Angel a glass of blood as she takes a drag of his beer. “I have no idea what Dennis’s problem is, but she’s been yelling at him a lot lately. I’m about ready to kill them both. And Dennis is already dead.”
“There any penalty for breaking the lease?”
“I’ll lose my security deposit, but in the long run, that’s not all that much. Why?”
“Most of time, we’re both at the hotel. Seems pointless for you to pay rent for a place you’re never at.”
“You’re asking me to move in with you?”
“Well you could pick any room you want, but I was hoping…”
“Your room pretty damn small for two people. Maybe we could pick out a bigger one.”
“Probably a good idea,” Angel says with a smile. “A room where neither of us has killed anyone.”
“Think the kitchen still works?”
“If not, we’ll fix it up. I don’t need to eat, but I still like your cooking.”
“It’s not that good,” Lindsey says with a blush.
Angel rolls his eyes. “Keep telling yourself that. So when do you want to officially move in?”
“How’s later tonight sound?”
“Sounds perfect.”
