Work Text:
Jinyoung doesn't even know who's ideas it is anymore to go out and do this stuff, but no matter who thought of it, either way he is dragged along anyways. And he openly let's a scowl set on his face once he see's that Jaebum has brought her.
He's still not over their last encounter, which had happened three weeks ago, give or take a few off days. Actually, it's Jinyoung, so give it exactly three weeks and two days and five hours, roughly twenty five minutes, but who is counting? Jinyoung definitely isn't.
When they get their, the group splits up, just like they always do. Except this time, Jinyoung goes off by himself, making a bee lien straight for the bar, because he hasn't had a drink in a long time, and he certainly needs one right now.
Mark follows silently behind him, and Jinyoung curses Mark for being such a great and caring friend. Right now, he doesn't need those pitying looks and shoulder rubs, or even the speeches. He just needs a drink.
He slides over the cash as he orders and accepts the drink and slams it down in one take and sighs and he puts it back down.
"Is drinking really a good idea?" Mark asks tentatively as he sits down next to Jinyoung.
"Probably not," he says, at least he's being honest. "But I really want one, and I think I need it at this point, and I deserve it after everything."
"If you say so," Mark shrugs, giving that look of indifference where it seems like he doesn't care, but in reality he does- and he thinks that you are in the wrong.
It makes Jinyoung shrink in on himself. He's not sure how much more of everything that he can handle because everything just feels like it's slamming down on him and he hates it. "I do say so," he still grumbles though, accepting the other shot from the bartender. Once he finishes, he turns to Mark and smiles, "I think I'm going to go dance."
"Jinyoungie," Mark calls out, but Jinyoung hops off the stool and disappears into the crowd, and with a sigh he sinks back into the bar. He knows exactly what Jinyoung's doing, he's avoiding Mark, he's avoiding the topic. God, did he wish that they would just solve their problems already.
Jinyoung has an ounce of guilt as he walks into the crowd to go dance. He was disrespectful to a hyung like that, but he just isn't sure that he can handle a lecture for Mark, as much as he loves him. Shaking his head, he forces it from his mind as he finds a spot that he deems safe and begins dancing.
It's club music, and so it's easy to dance along to, it's sexy and pleasant on the ears. Being sexy is at least something that Jinyoung thinks he can be good at. It's at least something he knows. And so he dances, he lets himself swirl his hips to the beat that he matches perfectly, he didn't train for years and years for nothing after all.
It's not too long later that Jinyoung feels someone behind him that wraps an almost tentative hand around his waist, and when Jinyoung doesn't stop, it seems to encourage him to hold both of Jinyoung's hips and pull him back.
Closing his eyes, Jinyoung breathes in the first time that they reach a near full grind, the guys dick pressing against his ass and he let's out a shaky breathe as the hands roam around his waist area, fingers poking underneath his shirt to feel his skin.
He let's his own hands move then, to rest on the thighs and he nearly gasps at feeling the muscle there because he just might have a little thing about it. Lips are being pressed against his neck, and he closes his eyes again, hyper aware of how the left hand slides up his left side and to his jaw, tilting his head to the side to make his neck easier to reach.
But then the touch is pulling away, and Jinyoung can feel a breath on his lips, and he knows that they're close, but they stay like that, both of their bodies stilling now, and lips, being what had to be just mere millimeters apart. Growing impatient, Jinyoung let's his eyes open and the first thing he sees are the two twin moles right about the deep brown eyes staring into his.
Oh.
Jaebum's eyes are staring at his, and then the gaze back down at his lips, and Jinyoung makes a sound in the back of his throat, half annoyance, and half impatience, and he closes the gap and bit more to prompt him so that their lips are brushing against each others. It's his turn then to watch as Jaebum's eyes close for a moment, and then they're open again and he''s pulling further away this time.
"Jaebum," Jinyoung nearly cringes at own desperate tone in his voice.
"I-" he stops, frowning. "I don't know why I did that, I'm sorry." Why is it that Jaebum is apologizing for all the wrong things? "I shouldn't have done it."
You shouldn't have done a lot of things hyung, he thinks, but doesn't say out loud. By now he doesn't bother to say anything as he watches Jaebum walk away, his figure blending in with the crowd and just like that, he's gone.
After that, he doesn't quite feel like dancing, and so he trudges himself back up to the bar, not to drink more because he isn't going to make that much of a fool of himself, but at least to get away from the main focus of people. When he arrives, and sees that Mark isn't there anymore, he feels a twinge of disappointment.
The unlikeliest of visitors show up then, and Jinyoung feels his mouth go dry when he realizes that it's Sooyoung standing there. "Hey, Jinyoung. Do you know where Jaebum's at?"
"You don't?" Jinyoung asks, and it feels like a justification that she doesn't know him at all. He'd be dancing, or by now he's probably in a car or out back, having a war with himself in his head because he's so damn scared about what he just did with Jinyoung.
"No," she says softly, almost as if she is timid to be around Jinyoung.
He snorts as he looks at his hands, "I guess there's a lot of things you don't know about your boyfriend then, huh?" He's being harsh and unfair, he knows it, but he's just so damn angry and she's... an easy target.
Her face changes then, falls, and her voice hardens up, "What do you mean? What are you trying to imply?"
"Forget I said anything." Jinyoung wants to tell her, spill everything to her, the cold heart truth of it all and laugh in her face, but his mouth refuses to move, because he knows deep down that isn't what he wants to do.
She stares at him for a minute, eyes calculating and evaluating before she finally settles with, "Alright. Thanks for all the help Jinyoung."
A part of him is left wondering if she already knows.
