Summary
Jakurai wasn’t one to shirk professional responsibility for frivolous personal events. Ramuda had said, once, that he acted like he carried the weight of the world on his shoulders. “But how come your posture’s so good, Jakurai? That’s just unfair!”
But Ramuda acted as if he had the world at his fingertips, and Jakurai was perhaps more easily persuaded by him than any other.
