    There was one thing they did not understand though: why would Eddie constantly refuse to have sex with them?

    Eddie feared his partners would be afraid if Venom showed up without a warning, and apparently fear was not part of enjoyable sex. Fine, Venom could understand that even though their knowledge of human procreative rituals was limited… but that did not explain why Eddie refused to mate when they were on their own, in the privacy of their apartment!
