   (Y/N) and Peter were close as children- the best of friends, in fact- but it only took one small argument over a toy to tear them apart. They didn't speak for years and years, choosing to stick with their own cliques at Midtown, constantly in competition. Over time, (Y/N) developed powers of her own and took on the persona Riptide, fighting crime and annoying the renowned Spiderman as much as she could. But when a mission goes awry and (Y/N) is taken by enemy fighters, Peter has to choose between his pride and her life.
