    There would be a riot formed by nightfall, there was no doubt, but Shouto couldn’t find a reason to care. The villagers always seemed to riot whenever they found out his father was away. Usually the soldiers dealt with the men, throwing them into holding cells until the King was back, but they didn’t seem to be guarding the town today. If he cared, he could have taken control of the situation himself, but that would cause his father to be proud of him.
    Shouto wasn’t sure what had caused the mad panic within the town, but it had started sometime the night prior. Even the interior of the castle seemed to be affected by whatever was happening as well. His personal guard seemed to be on edge, more so than usual, and the servants would not even look in his direction, unless forced to. Shouto didn’t mind the idea of not having to deal with the servants on a daily basis, but it was starting to piss him off. It wasn’t his problem, not yet at least, and by tomorrow his father would be back and have everything straightened out and put into place. He always did.
