    Castiel had long ago condemned himself only to be able to watch Sam Winchester, but never to hold him. The younger of the two hunters was too wary of others these days, even to his own brother. Castiel knew when he saw a soul about to break apart. The weight Sam was carrying on his shoulders had become too heavy, even for him. Thankfully, Castiel was still a seraph.
