Kaminari didn’t really know how embarrassed you got by PDA, until you became a couple.
A small kiss on the cheek or a hand placement on your shoulder was enough to make you a blushing mess.
He didn’t exactly notice, since when it was just the two of you, you would show him so much love and affection. Giving him hugs and kisses. Cuddling while watching a movie together or just wanting all of his attention.
It’s such a sudden shift. If you and Kaminari are in the common room, him resting his head on your shoulder while there are other students there, that would pretty much be the affection you showed. But when your classmates leaves just the two of you alone, you wrap your arms around him and give him lots of kisses on the head.
You’d be the one who takes initiative and then its him who'd be all surprised and flustered.
Even Kaminari didn’t quite know what was going on. But he didn’t complain. He’ll gladly take all the love and affection he could get from you.
But even so, Kaminari would still give you small pecks on the cheek and hold your hand when you were around people.
It was both to show people that you were his and how much he loved you, and just to see you totally malfunction at the little action of love.
You were just so adorable when you were blushing and a stuttering mess. He thought that you were just so cute when it comes down to it, if it was him who took the initiative.
