Chapter Text
Jimin groaned, smashed his phone on the pillow, beside his head, and cursed himself for agreeing to this schedule. He dreaded the days when he had work in the morning. It's not like he didn't like to wake up early, he just hated to wake up early for work. It wouldn't be an issue if he opened his eyes, took a hot shower and just lounged around his comfy place without having something to do.
He sighed. He would have loved to spend a couple more minutes in bed, but the thought of his manager coming and kicking his ass for being late made him stop and ask himself... Was it really worth it?
He slipped out from under the sheets, shivering at the contact of his tan skin with the cold air of the room. Jimin stretched his arms with a satisfying grunt, sliding his little feet in the fluffy slippers he kept next to his nightstand and put a bathrobe on. He didn't like sleeping with clothes on, the smooth silk of his sheets so much better than any constricting pajamas, no matter how comfortable they were. It's just something that he always did, it just seemed to get worse after presenting as an omega. He got sensitive about a lot of things that other people found normal.
Getting ready took less than usual since he didn't have to put much thought into the way he dressed or styled his hair. A stylist was going to do that later for him. The photo session was marked in his schedule as important with big, red letters. Jimin heard of the brand before, a lot of idols chose to use it as their go to brand, which made their respective fans go crazy for it as well. Just like that it started to get more recognition in South Korea over the last year. The brand spent a lot of money on hiring well known models in order to use their popularity in their marketing strategy. It was the same old overused method of gathering the attention of the masses.
He sighed.
His face was going to be everywhere and even though it wasn't something new, he wasn’t too fond of the attention that was coming along with it. He was perfectly conscious of the fact that this was exactly what his job as a model entailed, but while he loved the attention, the side effects didn’t make it to his top favorite things.
Last time he did a campaign with Gucci, it brought him a freaky alpha stalking him everywhere. That was the first time that he accepted the fact that he really needed a bodyguard. He had to move out from his last apartment building to this one after the man broke into his house. It had frightened him to come home and find a stranger sniffing his pillow and humping his bed.
Jimin was lucky he wasn't alone, his manager – a mated alpha – had been there at that time, otherwise who knows what would have happened to him. The man was caught by the police the same day, but Jimin's agency was adamant on him moving into a safer apartment complex. Jimin was thankful for that, since he was still unmated and totally at the mercy of just any delusional person that decided to go for him. It was pretty sad that being physically weak brought to the surface this mentality according to which everyone that was stronger could come and get a piece of him.
The new apartment was great, so much safer, bigger and at the top of one of the tallest buildings in Seoul. The security was always checking who went in and out and strangers were almost never around without reason. It had a great view that could be seen through the large windows and it was comfy. Somehow it became his home really fast, making him feel protecting as a nest would and over the last year and a half it carried him through painful and lonely heats, breakdowns and not so happy moments. It was the material proof that he didn't work hard for nothing, fact that made it even better. It showed that even though Jimin was seen as an weak omega, he was independent and could provide for himself just fine. There was no urge for him to find a partner or a mate. He could handle himself just right. He didn't need an alpha to make a difference in his life.
When he received an message from his manager that he was waiting for him in front of the building, Jimin was done eating breakfast and ready to go – somehow, finally awake. The whole ride to the studio was an one-sided conversation in which his manager informed him about the photoshoot.
Jimin already knew about the other omega he was about to work with. The guy was a popular model as well and Jimin was excited to work with him. He hoped that they could become friends. There weren’t as many male omega models as one would think. Jimin could honestly count them on his fingers. Being a male omega in itself was pretty rare, so he was excited to meet someone that would understand him.
Since he started working in the industry, it was hard for him to focus on anything else than work, so he lost contact with all of his old friends. It wasn't a big loss really. Jimin tried to keep himself updated on what they were doing so that they could still be like they used to, but his schedule was too hectic back then. If he were to think of it honestly, they never really provided the support his young, insecure self needed. He didn’t think much of it in the past, but now he knew that being friends with someone shouldn’t be one sided. If they tried as much as he did, they’d probably still be around. The only bad outcome of it was the fact that he didn't really have someone to communicate with on a more intimate level.
He had a lot of acquaintances in the industry, but nobody he would really go out of his way and call a friend. They worked together and sometimes hung out, but he didn’t really knew them.
The name of the model was Min Yoongi and Jimin made some research on him, immediately after finding out he was going to work with him. If the pictures did him justice, then the omega was gorgeous, with a frail body, cat like eyes, black hair, porcelain skin and delicate features. He looked like a doll and it made Jimin a little self conscious.
No, he knows he is nowhere near ugly, but he had chubbier cheeks and his skin was tanner and his curves were on the more voluptuous side. Yoongi had forms too, but he still looked skinny and pretty. He was the ideal omega. That was probably the reason why Yoongi had an alpha around. And not just any alpha. No. One to be on par with such a beautiful person. He was one of the most wanted alphas out there and Jimin saw him in photos and on billboards enough to know that he was absurdly, unrealistically handsome (in a fierce and intimidating way).
The other model was also known for having an icy personality and an intimidating presence, even though he was an omega, fact that scared Jimin a little. He didn't like when work wasn't going smoothly and there was conflict on set. It made his insides churn with anxiety.
Once the car stopped in front of the building, Jimin shook his head to make the bad thoughts inside go away. He still pulled a little on the sleeves of his sweater to hide his chubby fingers – it made him feel protected.
When they got inside, the set was already put together and a lot of people were running around like ants in an anthill.
"We're here." Dae-Ho, his manager, smiled down at him, guiding him trough the crowded studio with a gentle hand on his upper back – supporting him when he tripped over nothing.
"Park Jimin-ssi?" A female voice asked and Jimin had to get on the tip of his toes in order to see anything over Dae-Ho’s broad shoulders.
"That's me." He said in a small voice. The woman was a beta and she seemed at least ten years older than him. The majority of the stylist he worked with in the past were betas, since they knew how to handle both omegas and alphas well and were apparently more skilled in this kind of field.
"Hello there, sweetie!" She smiled at him once Dae-Ho moved out of the way. "I'm your stylist for today. My name is Byun Jae Hwa. It's a pleasure to work with such a pretty model." She offered her hand, and something in the way she carried herself made him trust her instantly.
"It's nice to meet you too, Jae Hwa-ssi." He gave her his little puffy hand, the other rising up to his mouth, hiding a smile behind his sweater paw.
"Oh my God! You are the cutest little thing." She squeaked excitedly. "You can call me noona." She assured him.
"Ok, noona." His cheeks were a pretty pink color, feeling his whole face burning up from the compliments he received.
"Jiminie, I'm going to talk with the photographers. It is ok for me to leave you on your own?"
"It's ok, hyungie!" Jimin smiled widely up at him, knowing that Dae-Ho has a big ass soft spot for him showing his eye smile.
"Ok then. See you later." The alpha ruffled his hair in an affectionate gesture.
"Let's go, honey. We have to get you all dolled up for the shoot." Jae Hwa took his hand in hers, guiding him – with a gentleness only a beta could possess – through a maze of cables, cameras and humans.
Talking with Jae Hwa while his make-up was applied made the time seem like it was flying. He really enjoyed the way the older woman made him feel comfortable enough to joke and laugh around with her.
"Look, sweetie, this is the first outfit for today." She opened the case, keeping the hanger on her fingers before offering it to Jimin. "Go and change into it."
That's exactly what he did, blushing while putting the clothes on and at the way he looked in the mirror. He was wearing black shorts, they where so short his butt didn’t have much coverage, his legs were covered in fishnets with holes to tiny they were barely fishnets and around his slim waist was a harness that went down under his butt and circled both of his thighs. The shirt he was wearing was a black, transparent, mesh blouse with a lacy bralette underneath.
Even though he was used to wearing women clothing in his day to day life, they were never as revealing as these. Now he could properly comprehend how the brand became so popular in the idol world. The clothes were the kind of fashion items Jimin would see on TV on celebrities on stage. It wasn’t his first time wearing the brand, but the pieces that he had tried before were destined more to the general masses – for sure less revealing and more comfortable. Suddenly, Jimin got so much respect for the idols that were supposed to dance in this kind of attire.
He zipped up the black boots and went out of the dressing room. The way he looked made him feel strong but shy at the same time, which was kind of the way he was perceived by everyone he came in contact with. He was like a sweet pie that had a kick of spice to it.
He couldn't complain about the clothes though. The whole concept of this new collection was to break gender norms. Even though his sub-gender wasn't really taken in consideration, it was still for a good change in the mindset of South Korea’s population.
"You look amazing, Jimin-ah!" Jae Hwa squeaked again, her energy making the boy feel less nervous about what was to come. "I think it’s the time to go on set." She fixed a strand of his silver hair and signed him to follow her out of the room.
Arriving on set, his eyes instantly fell on the frail silhouette whose back was facing him. Jimin gulped his anxiety and approached the male, feeling like he had to introduce himself before getting anything done.
Understanding his intentions, Jae Hwa encouragingly smiled at him and let him have his way. Betas were always prone to understand how omegas felt even without them voicing out their thoughts and insecurities. Jimin’s father was a beta and while his mother was an omega such as himself, his father always understood his needs better.
He stopped behind Min Yoongi, who was watching the staff doing a last minute check on the set with his arms crossed over his chest. He wasn’t taller than Jimin with much – one centimeter, maybe two – but his stance and the way his shoulders were brought back with confidence, made him seem like he was one head above the silver haired omega.
Min Yoongi’s outfit didn’t stray too much off the concept. He was wearing a white transparent blouse, a harness webbing on top of it and a half skirt that on the right leg was fastened by a strap, which went around his tight. He had boots with a slight platform and knee high socks. He looked breathtaking and for a some reason, the outfit’s concept went really well with his rumored personality.
“How may I help you?” A slightly deep voice made him snap out of his thoughts, just to realize he stared at the man’s back until he turned to face him.
“Oh. Hi.” He came back to his senses. “My name is Park Jimin. We'll be working together today so I came to introduce myself.” He blushed slightly, thanking all the gods for the make-up he was wearing.
“It's nice to meet you, Jimin-ssi.” Yoongi’s eyes travelled up and down his body a couple of times before offering a cute gummy smile. “My name is Min Yoongi. From what I have heard it seems that I’m slightly older than you so feel free to call me hyung.”
“Sure, hyung.” Jimin’s smile reached his eyes as he shook the hand Yoongi offered.
“I'm honestly surprised it’s the first time we work together.” Yoongi commented. Jimin looked at him puzzled, not knowing what the alder male was talking about.
“Why do you think so?” He voiced his confusion , head slightly tilted to one side like a puppy.
“Hmm.” Yoongi hummed, coming closer, just mere centimeters between their bodies. He leaned in so he could whisper in his ear, Jimin getting a tease of the omega’s smell. As the scent filled his lungs, he couldn't help feeling a little aroused, which was completely unusual for an omega to get turned on by another omega. But Yoongi smelled like the most delicious chocolate - the kind that melted on your tongue - and like sweet, ripe strawberries. “They seem to be into putting pretty unmated omegas together. Don't you think we would make quite a sight together? A lot of alphas would die to have us both. Imagine how many kinks we would satisfy.”
After Yoongi's last breath hit Jimin's sensitive skin, he took a step back. And while Jimin was breathless from the intensity of the moment, Yoongi giggled soundlessly.
The one thing Jimin didn’t expected when he first looked up Min Yoongi, was for him to be this playful – in a completely different way than anyone would expect someone to be. Jimin had been in his presence for less than five minutes and he already knew that the omega was a little too much for him.
Another thing that surprised him was how blunt the man was. It seemed, from the couple sentences Jimin heard from him, that Yoongi had no filter when it came to what was slipping past his lips.
“It’s all about marketing strategy.” The omega added while Jimin was a little lost, trying to hide his reactions. “The mated alphas buy the product we advertise because they think it would fit their omegas too, and the unmated omegas buy it on a whim thinking they can attract a potential partner. However, whatever the case may be we are still viewed as objects. This whole thing with breaking gender norms serves no purpose. It just brings a cause up for attention.” Yoongi shrugged his shoulders as if it wasn't a big deal. “Negative sides of capitalism.”
“Well, isn't that why most models are omegas? Alphas have the power and they like to watch us. They are the targeted audience because they have the financial resources, even though omegas are supposedly more gullible.” Jimin was already aware of the fact that even if there were a lot of campaigns about the emancipation of omegas, it was still a matter of mentality until they would be seen as more than just those whose only purpose is supposed to be procreation. “Omegas are raised in a much more conservative way, so of course it would catch the attention of alphas if we are put out there in a more unconventional way. Our role is not necessary that of staying home and taking care of their pups anymore.”
“Hmm… Maybe you're not just a pretty face amongst others.” Yoongi laughed as if the conversation went in the direction he wished for, but not in the direction he expected to. “I kind of like you actually.”
Jimin was a little took by surprise by the whole conversation and didn’t really have the time to filter his words, so the first thing that slipped was a piece of his mind. He would usually avoid controversial comments, especially around people he just met. He didn’t know who was out there making money out of things that would destroy the image of celebrities. His little slip up though seemed to satisfy Yoongi enough, a smile still blooming on his face.
“Time to begin! Everyone on set please!” It was announced before Jimin could open his mouth to say something.
“Let's go, pretty.” Yoongi grabbed him by his wrist and guided him towards the set. “Let me see if the rumors about you were right.”
Jimin was never too curious or he was really just too scared to check out what opinion people he had worked with had about him. Since he wasn’t aware of what were the expectations he had to meet in order for him to match the rumors, it was a little hard not to be nervous.
Once the camera started to snap pictures of them, they both entered in a completely different mindset. They were focused and professional, shocking everyone on set with the presence they developed in front of the camera. The lack of inhibitions was shocking even to the photographer – in the best way possible – as their hands were searching each other’s body and personal space was a forgotten concept.
They looked fantastic together and the staff around them followed every move they made. It was complete silence on set, except for the sound of the camera's shutter. It was obvious then why they were two of the most successful models in the industry.

Three outfits later and two change of sets, the photoshoot was done. Once they slipped out of their professional state of mind, they started to converse about meeting again – Yoongi being the one that brought the idea up. Jimin was more than happy to agree.
“We should exchange phone numbers.” Yoongi proposed and Jimin gladly accepted.
“Let's hang out sometime in the near future.” Jimin snapped a pic of himself with the elder’s phone to set it as his contact image. Yoongi did the same. They both laughed at the funny pose of the older.
“I have a couple of free days next week. Right now I am pretty busy with a little campaign and I'll be out of Seoul.” Yoongi whined as if having to think about the work he had to do was giving him a headache.
“That would be perfect. I am free next week as well. We should have lunch together.” Jimin clapped his hands excitedly.
“How about an early brunch and then we can shop together for some bonding time?” Yoongi proposed just as excited as him.
“Ok. Send me a message with the time and place.” He couldn't believe the way he and Yoongi clicked so well together. It was a first for him.
“It's a date then.” The elder said and Jimin couldn't stop himself from blushing, laughing softly. Even though the older was evidently joking – since he already had an boyfriend – Jimin still felt something fluttering in his stomach. He wished for that feeling to go away. He didn't want to give up the chance of becoming friends with Yoongi just because his hormones were a mess.
“Yoongi! Let's go!” The omega’s manager called for him.
“I have to go change. I’m on a tight schedule today.” He sighed.
Before Jimin could say anything else, Yoongi circled his arms around his body and got him in a hug. The scent of the male hit him strongly and he almost whined at the way Yoongi's skin felt against his with just their shirts covering their chests. He could feel something hard poking him from underneath the elder’s shirt, but he couldn’t quite place it.
Jesus! What is wrong with me?
“See you soon, Jiminie!” He whispered in his ear and then proceeded to left a kiss on his cheek.
“Bye, hyung…” Jimin said in a soft tone.
He couldn't believe a person like Yoongi really existed. He seemed too perfect to be real.
What was the most confusing for him was the way Yoongi's scent affected him so much. Maybe it was a side effect of the fact that he hadn’t been with an alpha or beta in so long. The sexual frustration inside him was awakened by Yoongi's charming personality. He really wished for an alpha to take care of these needs of his. It was so long since he had someone inside him and he started to feel it.
