   Summary

   After she visits him in Wakanda, Bucky tries to avoid Natasha and the storm of unwanted feelings that she stirs. She hovers in and out of his life over the span of a year and two continents without leaving a single mark on him. This seems to work out just fine until a failed mission leaves Natasha with a mysterious affliction, and Bucky is forced not only to let her in, but to confront the lies that he keeps telling himself to get by.
