It Looks Better On You Anyways

Summary:

He didn’t know what he expected when he opened his eyes, but he sure knew he didn’t expect to be face to face with the literal embodiment of sunshine facing him. He was saying something by the looks of it, Shouta could see his mouth moving, but all he could keep focus on was the boys messy-but somewhat- cute head of green hair and matching set of eyes.

“-ey, Hey! Are you alright?”

/or/

Basically the time where a villains quirk sends Aizawa Shouta, a second year student at U.A, to the future. Where things keep getting more and more complicated.

Chapter Text

He didn’t know how this started. They last thing he saw was a flash of light, his eyes fell shut then he waited, and waited, but nothing happened. Or at least, he felt nothing.

‘Am..am I dead?’

His eyes were still shut tightly, but then relaxed as he felt the hotness of the sun radiating off his face. He peaked open one eye to see the bright sun above him. That couldn’t be right though. It was night just a few moments ago. The sixteen year old lifted himself up, to be in a seated position, and observed his surroundings.

‘I’m at a park? But I was just at the school with Nemuri and Hiza- Wait Nemuri and Hizashi? Where are they!?’

The young hero in the making quickly looked around for his friends, to see if they were anywhere near him. But he didn’t see them. He didn’t see anyone at all. He scanned the park to see it practically abandoned. By the looks of it, it was probably still early morning. He frowned, not liking the strange feeling creeping up his spine.

He looked around for his bag, having dropped it prior to the events that led him here, how that may have happened, he had yet to find out. He reached into his bag and quickly searched for his phone. He silently cursed himself, having just realized he left it in his room in a rush that morning.

”I might was well go back to school to find out what happened.” He mumbled to himself quietly, as he stood, dusting off his uniform.

Once he stood up he noticed a few people gathering in the park. Early morning joggers he guessed. He couldn’t relate or understand why someone would wake themselves early on purpose for a meaningless task they could do anytime of day.

As he stood there pondering, he had yet to notice he was in someone’s way.

”Excuse me.”

He turned to see a young women staring at him. As he finally relized he was in her path he quietly apologized. She just waved him off and smiled.

”Its quite alright. I see you’re a young hero in the making, huh. U.A.? Mornings sure are difficult with all the work you guys must be doing, I understand.”

As he stepped aside to let her through he asked her a question.

”Excuse me Ms. I seem to be lost. Can you point to me where the school is.”

She smiled.

”Oh sure. It’s right on ahead, just make a left at the cafe down the street and go on straight. You’ll be right at the gates.”

He nodded and thanked her, and started towards the direction she stated when she stopped him.

”Hey, I didn’t catch you’re name kid.”

”Hmm, oh its...”

 14 years earlier...

“Shoutaaaaaaa!”

The said boy sighed. He turned to see his loud friend, Hizashi Yamada. The obnoxious teen making his way towards him. The bell just rang and Aizawa was just ready to sleep.

”What is it.” He mumbled out tiredly.

”No need to be rude Shochan~ we just wanted to hang out.”

Coming up behind Hizashi was Nemuri Kayama, another one of Aizawa’s classmates and friends. He just grumbled and started walking aging towards the schools exit. His friends rushing up to walk with him. They walked outside along the sidewalk, Hizashi and Nemuri rambling on to each other on both sides of him. He learned to tune them out when the got too loud. Which was more then often. His mind was else where, and he barely noticed the rapid tapping on his should from his left. He glanced over confusedly at Nemuri.

”Hey do you guys see that.”

Both boys followed her gaze as she pointed to a shadow moving fast along the walls near the back of the school.

”It can’t be a student. We aren’t aloud back there.” Hizashi stated. “You think it’s a teacher?”

”No all the teachers are in a meeting right now.” Aizawa said as he started making his way over to the receding shadow.

”H-hey where are you going? Shouldn’t we get a teacher.” Hizashi asked nervously.

”You can go get a teacher. I’m going to go find out who that is and what they’re  up to before they get away.”

Hizashi and Nemuri glanced quickly at each other before silently rushing to follow him. They made their way behind the buildings, but couldn’t find anyone.

”Do you think they left.” Nemuri asked, still quickly looking around for any sign of an attacker.

”I don’t know. Maybe they wen-“ Aizawa was cut off by the sound of feet dropping behind them.

They all quickly turned around to see a cloaked figure standing there behind them, silent watching them. They all stood their silently, unable to say anything out of shock, until Hizashi finally spoke up.

”H-Hey man, you aren’t aloud here you need to tell us why you’re here before we seriously mess you up.”

Aizawa could tell that Hizashi was trying to act confident, but his voice gave away to the hint of fear in his usually loud voice.

“Oh, I don’t think we’ll have the time to discuss that.”

Aizawa, having had enough of this dudes weirdness, summoned his capture weapons and shot them towards the man. He quickly dodged out of the way and came running full speed at them. Nemuri, having just breaking out of her surprised shock tried to let out her quirk and put the guy to sleep, but Hizashi ran in front of her tackling her before she got trampled, and accidentally passing out from her quirk.

As Aizawa was trying to catch the man, who kept on dodging his attack, Nemuri was having trouble trying to push an unconscious Hizashi off of her to help him.

Just as Aizawa was about to get ahold of the strange man, again dodged the scarves and tapped Aizawa in between his brows. There was a blinding light as he fell to the ground, unable to move his body. His eyes were fluttering shut and he felt like his body was lighter then usual, almost transparent. Just before his eyes shut, he looked up to the man who was staring down at him as Nemuri snuck up from behind and put him to sleep using her quirk. He collapsed on the ground beside Aizawa. Said boy shutting his eyes, and the last thing he heard was the sound of Nemuri’s horrified yelling as she called his name, and the sounds of running feet of teachers, who came a little to late to the scene, but just in time to see Aizawa’s body finally fade out.

The present time...

As the young Aizawa finally made it to the school’s gateway he was a little taken aback by how oddly different the school looked. It still looked like his school but something was off about it he just couldn’t place it.

He silently made his way in through the gates. He looked around at all the students coming in and noticed he didn’t recognize any of them. Sure he didn’t know everyone at school personally, but he’s been there long enough to at least know what his schoolmates look like.

He walked in to the building slowly observing everything as he went, failing to notice yet again that he was in someone’s path. Unfortunately for the both of them neither did the other. At least not until they collided. Aizawa fell back onto the ground, while the other dropping their papers they were carrying in a rush.

“Oh my, I-I’m sorry I wasn’t watching where I was going I didn’t see you there and I-“

The other kept rambling on as Aizawa hissed in pain from falling. He finally opened his eyes, not knowing when he shut them. He looked upwards at the stuttering boy, and let out a quiet gasp.

”H-here let me help you up.”

He didn’t know what he expected when he opened his eyes, but he sure new he didn’t expect to be face to face with the literal embodiment of sunshine facing him. He was saying something by the looks of it, Shouta could see his mouth moving, but all he could keep focus on was the boys messy-but somewhat- cute head of green hair and matching set of eyes.

“-ey, Hey! Are you alright?”
