Kuboyasu's eye twitched. "Why the hell are there flowers on my desk?" He growled out.
"Maybe someone has a crush on you?" Kaido said.
Suddenly, Kuboyasu let out a loud sneeze. Then another. And a few more. "Just get them out of here." He covered his nose.
Kaido grabbed the flowers and threw them out the window.
Kuboyasu's eyes were red and his nose was still running. "Hey, Kaido? Can you wipe off my desk, too?"
"Yeah, sure. " He wiped it off with some hand sanitizer and a few tissues.
"Thanks."
"Oh?" Saiko said as he walked in and saw Kuboyasu's red and irritated eyes. "What's going on here, four eyes plebe?"
"Tch. It doesn't matter." The ex thug said.
"Someone left Kuboyasu flowers, but he's allergic to them." Kaido said.
Another failed attempt, then. Saiko thought. He was about to respond, saying something that would most likely just piss Kuboyasu off more, but the teacher walked in.
What else can I try? This secret admirer thing is not working. I left him a note and he lost it before he read it. I gave him caviar and he took one bite and almost puked. My flowers were basically an attack on his health. Saiko thought.
Saiki sighed. This was getting annoying. Saiko had been fawning mentally over Kuboyasu for almost a month. Honestly, it's worse than it was with Teruhashi. He made a quick decision before he implanted a thought into Saiko's mind.
Maybe I should just be more open about it? I could tell him how I feel. It might work. Saiko smirked. Yeah. That's what I'll do.
At lunch, Saiko confronted Kuboyasu. "Hey, Four-Eyed plebe."
Kuboyasu's punctuation popped up.
"I've come to tell you that I have feelings for you." Saiko said, simply.
Kuboyasu growled. "Stop screwing around, asshole." He turned and left quickly.
What just happened? Saiko thought.
That asshole! He must have found out about my feelings and decided to tease me, as if everyone doesn't already know how he feels about Teruhashi.
Is he really that dense? Saiki thought. He sent another thought Saiko's way.
That's it! He just didn't understand what I meant. He sighed. Either way, that direct approach didn't work at all. I needbto try some else.
It's a good thing he's so full of himself. This would never work if he wasn't. Saiki thought.
The next day, Saiko showed up with a new motorcycle. A motorcycle he has no idea how to ride. He put it in the small parking area around the back of the school before going inside.
"Hey, I saw that sweet bike this morning. It was so cool!" Nendou said when he saw Saiko walk into the class room.
"It was just a small expense. I saw it and wanted it." He sat in front of Kuboyasu for a moment. "The problem is, I have no idea how to ride it. What do you think, four eyes? Can you teach me?" He likes motorcycles. He should jump at this chance.
"If you can't ride it, what was the point in buying it?" Kuboyasu growled.
Saiko sighed. "I told you. I wanted it." I thought that would have worked.
Aw, hell! Why did I turn him down like that? Spending time with Saiko and a motorcycle? It's like a dream come true. He sighed. But I have to stick to my morals. I won't let his money sway me.
Good grief. I thought this plan had a chance. I can't take this pining anymore. Saiki thought. He sighed before putting another thought into Saiko's head.
It's not me he doesn't like, it how I'm doing this. I should stop trying to buy him expensive stuff. He clearly didn't like any of it. Saiko huffed. But if I don't buy him anything, how will I get him to like me?
The next day was sort of a fiasco. Saiko had people come in and decorate the whole classroom. It was filled with pictures of Kuboyasu and a big banner that said "I Like You - Saiko Metori."
Kuboyasu walked in close to the start of class. Almost everyone was already there. He grew angry. "What the hell is this? First the motorcycle, then telling me you 'have feelings for me'? Haven't you embarrassed me enough?"
Saiko froze. He finds me. . . embarrassing?
"It can't be that fun for you to keep joking about my feelings for you!" Kuboyasu stormed out.
Saiko still just stood there. He hadn't really registered what Kuboyasu had said about his own feelings.
"What are you still doing here?" Kaido said to Saiko.
"Yeah!" Yumehara pitched in. "Aren't you going to chase after him?"
"Why would I do that? He thinks that I'm embarrassing." Saiko growled out.
The teacher walked in, saw the commotion and decorations, and then walked right back out, yelling a "clean all that up before home room ends!" As she left.
"That's not what he said." Kaido said.
Teruhashi nodded. "He thinks you're making fun of his feeling for you"
Saiki sighed. This isn't going anywhere. He sent a quick thought into Saiko's head to make him understand stand.
"He likes me back? He just thought I was joking?"
"Yes!" Yumehara said.
"He probably went to the roof." Saiki had found him with his clairvoyance.
"Yeah, he likes it up there!" Kaido nodded.
Saiko, for the first time in his life, walked at a fast pace. Rushing may be for poor people, but this is important.
He opened the room door and smiled at seeing Kuboyasu lying up there. Saiko told his bodyguards to stay in the school. "I wasn't making fun of you." He started off by saying.
Kuboyasu's punctuation popped up. "Then what do you call all of that?"
Saiko smirked as an idea popped in his head. He stratled Kuboyasu's waist so the former thug couldn't escape. "Failed attempts. Trying as a secret admirer didn't work, so I decided to be more open about it. I tried to be subtle in asking you to teach me how to drive a motorcycle. When that didn't work, I confronted you thinking you just didn't understand what I was trying to say. You thought that was a joke, so I went for something bigger. I almost didn't follow you, but your friends convinced me that you really thought I was joking. So, do you really think I was trying to embarrass you?"
"Oh, hell." Kuboyasu blushed brightly. "You really weren't."
"That's right. I don't know why I fell for an angry, former thug, plebe, but I did." He smirked. "I can't say that upsets me, either."
The blush on Kuboyasu's face deepened. "Fine. I love you, too."
"I knew you'd see things my way." Saiko leaned down and pressed a chaste kiss to Kuboyasu's lips.
