shot up the list of favorites unbelievably fast.... sometimes youre in the middle of reading something and you just know its going to stick with you for a long time. this one is written so poignantly and is painfully personal... i managed to feel so unbelievably strongly for everyone involved! sams characterization especially was perfect; that brutal teeth-gritting anger, the frustrated tears, the abject loneliness. you feel a little bit of everything. its all so touching. and then there they were!
