Till Death Do Us Part

Summary:

Warning! This one-shot will feature VERY descriptive images of death and blood. Please be warned: whenever Todoroki is with another classmate at their house the warning is in effect. Also very strong language.

----

When Shouto was ten, his father was murdered. The killer was never found. Shouto's mother had accused him of having committed the deed, but that's crazy talk - how could a 10-year-old kid have killed the number two hero? Besides, why would such a young kid have killed their father? So she was sent to a mental hospital.

Now, Shouto is a student at UA, and very much in love. His Izuku is just so wonderful! But Shouto really doesn't like people who hurt his Izuku. Or are too close to his Izuku. Or want to be with his Izuku.

His Izuku... doesn't know Shouto loves-loves him sooooo much, yet. But! Shouto definitely plans to tell him. Eventually. When all those people Shouto dislikes aren't quite so annoying anymore.

And if those annoying people happen to die, well. Shouto certainly has no idea who killed them.

Work Text:

"D-Don't forget your lunch, Shoto!" Fuyumi stuttered, her hand shaking madly as she passed the paper bag on.

I was silent, picking the paper bag from her hand.

"H-Have a good d-day..." She stuttered, shrinking back into the kitchen.

I sighed, squaring my shoulders and picking up my backpack from the floor of the living room. I brush the dried blood off of the side of my backpack, picking up my gloves and slickly sliding them onto my arms. I smile, heading out of the door to school.

Everyone on the street looks at me peculiarly, but I kept my gaze forward to school.

As I walked into the classroom, I could see Uraraka, that damn slut.

My Izuku looked clearly uncomfortable, smiling out of clear pity.

She's a plain girl, which makes her sexy to older men. Fucking pathetic.

I took my seat calmly, watching them from a distance.

"You wanna hang out tonight?" Uraraka smiles, jumping.

Say no.

"Sorry, I've got a bunch of work to catch up on because of my arm." My Izuku smiled guiltily. "I'll totally hang out with you next week when I'm caught up."

Damn slut keeps the smile on her face. "Oh, it's alright! I can help you if you want to!"

"I study better on my own." Izuku smiles. "Sorry.."

"No, no, it's fine! I understand! Hope you catch up!"

As soon as Uraraka left, My Izuku seemed more relaxed and confident, until the third death came in.

"Watch your feet, damn Deku!" Bakubitch calls, plopping down onto his seat, and I see Izuku tense up. My fist clenches. How dare that Bakuhoe even get near him.

"S-Sorry Kacchan.."

Taking the angry blonde out would be harder since Kirishima walks him home every day after school. Of course, there's always some way I could catch him alone.

"Damn right, nerd. Be sorry."

"Todoroki-kun, are you okay?" Momo's voice snaps me out of my anger. "You look angry at something. Is something going on with your father?"

"My father's been dead since I was 10."

Momo blinks. "Oh, right. Endeavor was your father, right?"

"Correct," I say, keeping my gaze on Izuku.

"I did assume so with the fire quirk, but then again fire quirks are common." Momo starts rambling.

"Class is starting soon." I politely point out. "You should head back to your seat before Aizawa-Sensei gets mad at you."

"Right... Good talking to you Todoroki-kun..."

By the time I get to hear the conversation again, the last snippet I here is:

"I understand, Kacchan. I wasn't trying to disrespect you..."

"Shut up, q- bastard."

Quirkless bastard?

Because of Izuku's records as quirkless, I could only assume that is what he wanted to say. I don't care if my Izuku is quirkless or not, I'll protect him with my life. After all, quirks don't matter. My father had one of the strongest quirks and now he's been killed by his own son.

I sink into my elbow, staring at the green-haired perfection that is My Izuku. His hair was perfectly tousled, his green eyes sparkling when he gets excited about All MIght, eyes shining in admiration when he comes into the room. I wish he would look at me with the same admiration that he looks at his hero with, the same emerald sparkling eyes...

My fantasies are cut off as Aizawa-sensei enters the rooms.

-----

"Oh, hey Todoroki-kun!" Izuku cuts me off at the door.

"Hello, Midoriya," I say, turning my head to him and trying not to scream. ((like Theo when I send them spoilers in the middle of the night))

"How was your day today?" He asks, smiling brightly at me.

I swear my heart just skipped a beat.

"It was as good as a school day can be," I say, keeping my straight face. "After all, I did get to come here and see you."

Izuku giggles, and I smile. There's no way you can't smile around someone like Izuku. His enthusiasm and laughter are contagious.

"I'll see you later, Todoroki-Kun!" Izuku cries, speeding up to catch his train.

"Bye..." I wave, glued to my spot, my heart beating a million miles a minute.

That boy will be mine.

----

"Oh, hey Todoroki-kun! I didn't expect to see you here," Uraraka says, smiling a little uncertainly.

"I take it your family isn't home?"

"Th-They're always at work..." Uraraka stutters. "B-But come inside..."

I step into her house, freezing the ground over as she shuts the door.

"H-Huh? T-Todorki-kun?" Uraraka swivels around to look at me. "Wh-What's-"

"You like him, don't you?" I stare into her soul, and she gulps.

"L-Like who, T-Todoroki-kun?" She stutters, her hands starting to shake.

"Midoriya," I say, coming closer. "You like my Izuku."

"Y-Your Izuku?" Uraraka beings shaking more. "I-I d-don't th-think.."

"Shut up."

"Huh-"

I smirk, allowing an ice spike to slice through her stomach and chest, ripping it out of her body. Her throat isn't even allowed a scream as her eyes go glassy and her body slumps to the floor. Her stomach and chest slide off the ice spike, and it disappears.

I smirk. "Next time, don't go looking for a fight."

I step out of her house, gently pressing my left hand to her door, setting the entire house aflame. I run away from the scene, hoping to seem desperate. I hear the cries arise from her neighbors, not being able to see who lit the fire.

The plan was working perfectly.

---

My Izuku didn't show up to school the next day, but that was expected. After all, he's an extremely kind soul who would mourn anyone who died. He's just amazing like that.

Everyone else in class looked confused when they heard the news about Uraraka dying.

"The police have tried to figure out if it was a murder or not, but all the remains that might have helped them are gone."

And Aizawa-Sensei turned it into a lesson.

"Therefore they can't start looking for any suspects yet. It's very hard to trace evidence in a fire since all the clues have been burned away."

I resist the urge to smirk. My plan was even more ingenious than I thought, but it would still be hard to trace if it was a murder or not, since I had used ice instead of a normal weapon.

"Therefore the police have concluded that it was an accident. Since there is no evidence to go on, there is no way that they can perform an arrest, it would simply be unethical."

The bell rings for lunch, and we're ushered out of the classroom just as my Izuku runs in.

"You missed the whole lesson, Midoriya. Please make it up with someone in the meantime."

Izuku nods, as I come up to him to head for lunch.

"Can I sit with you, Todoroki-kun?"

I look over at Izuku, his gaze trained at the floor.

"Of course. You're welcome anytime." I smile slightly. "You don't even have to ask."

Izuku looks up at me with a warm gaze. "Thank you."

----

Kirishima stands next to Izuku's desk, his smile bright. "We'll honor her, right?"

Izuku smiles up at the red-head, making him blush.

Oh, was this going to be a problem for him.

I felt my fist tighten around my pencil, and the force suddenly snaps it in half.

The entire classroom turns to look at me, and my grip loosens.

"Sorry," I say calmly, picking up the upper half of my pencil. "Mistake."

Momo looks at me with concerned eyes, then back at the front. Everybody starts chatting.

"You know, Todoroki and Momo would make a great couple"."

"She really seems like she likes him."

"I wonder what kind of dates they would go on."

My anger bubbled. My heart belonged to my one and only Izuku.

My glare focused on my next target.

Kirishima Eijiro.

----

"Yo, Todobroki!" Kirishima smiles. "Welcome to my humble abode!"

My face was still straight, as I stepped into his house.

"Make yourself comfy. You wanna head up to my room to study, right?"

"Sure, if that's most convenient," I say, not really caring. The kill was going to be tough. If Kirishima saw it coming, he could activate his quirk in defense. I would either need a stronger or quicker ice spike to kill him.

While contemplating murder, Kirishima leads me up to his room.

"You murdered Uraraka, didn't you?"

I blinked, snapping out of my thinking process. "Excuse me?"

"You murdered her and burnt her house down."

"Are you serious?" I laugh. "You're accusing me of murdering my own classmate!"

Kirishima steps back. "T-Todoroki?"

"You think I murdered her? Are you fucking sick in the head? Do you actually think it was me?" I lose my composure, pupils twitching slightly. "You know, there's really no point in hiding anything if you're going to die anyway."

Kirishima falls back onto his bed. "What?!"

"I killed my own father. The number two pro hero Endeavor died six years ago. That was me." I smile, and not a warm one. "And yes, I killed Uraraka. Damn slut got too close to my Izuku."

"Your-"

"You remember the snapped pencil?"

"Yeah.."

"That was your fault. You got too close to him. You have a crush on him. And now..." The floor freezes up, trapping Kirishima on the floor. "You must die."

"Todoroki, you're insane."

I smile. "Thank you."

"You're a monster."

His skin hardens up, as my strongest ice spike smashes into his back, and he lurches forward.

"D-Don't do this, Todoroki.."

Another idea sparks into my head, as the ice spike crashes into his back again, pulling the bottoms of his feet off of his feet. Kirishima screams in agony, his hardening gone.

I laugh, smashing the ice spike through his skull, his brain stuck on the spike.

I giggle, and the ice quickly melts, and I head out of his house, lighting a small fire on the way out.

My secrets died with Kirishima.

----

Aizawa-sensei didn't show up for school the next day. Can't say I'm surprised.

After two deaths both of his students, he was probably called in to assist the investigation.

I smirk, looking down at the sheet in front of me.

More questions about investigating a murder.

You're welcome, dear teacher.

---

Bakugo walked home alone. Which was according to plan. Things were made a whole hell of a lot easier after Kirishima was eliminated.

I simply had to follow him home, wait till his parents left, and kill him.

The fun part was figuring out how. It had to be something different... Something no one would expect.

I've already given my father hypothermia which killed him, stabbed out Uraraka's heart and stomach, and pulled out Kirishima's brain.

Of course, I have to subdue him so he can't use his quirk first. I mean, I could always just squeeze him to death, sending his brain and eyeballs splattering across the floor...

Yes, I think I'll do that.

"Thank fuck the old man and hag aren't home," Bakugo mumbled.

"Perfect. That makes everything so much better." I smirk.

Bakugo whips around, but before he can do anything, he's captured in ice.

"Icy-hot, what the fuck?!" Bakugo struggled, trying to loosen it, but the ice was too slippery.

I laugh. "Oh poor Bakugo, for once he's clueless."

Bakugo growls. "You're a murderer. A complete psycho, Icy-hot. I know that much. You killed Uraraka."

"And you didn't stop to wonder why Kirishima never came in this morning?"

"You bastard! What the fuck did you do to Eijiro?!"

I chuckle. "I did what I do best, Bakugo."

"You fucking murdered him, didn't you?! You're sick in the head, Todoroki! Let me fucking go!"

I click my tongue, laughing. "I can't do that, Bakugo. You've hurt my Izuku for too long."

Bakugo grunts, the ice getting tighter around him. "What the fuck- your Izuku?! Damn nerd is his own person!" Bakugo grunts again, losing circulation to his shoulders. "Fucking hell Midoriya!"

Just then, his head explodes, blood and brains splattering against the wall, blood covering my face. I laugh.

"You don't get to push any blame on my Izuku. And you don't get to hurt him either, do you understand?" I let go of the ice, Bakugo's body falling limp.

"Kacchan?" A small voice calls, interrupting my thought. "Kacchan, are you home?"

I quickly scramble out of Bakugo's window, the glass shattering. I run off as fast as I can, not wanting to get caught by the subject of my affections.

Because if he found out I'd killed his childhood friend, he'd report me to the police immediately.

The good thing was that even if I left the body for Izuku to find, the ice was melted and it just looked like someone's quirk.

---

[Rare Midoriya POV]

As I stared at the sight of my childhood friend dead on the floor, my stomach came up for lunch. I panted, letting out a scream so people knew. Just then Aunt and Uncle Bakugo came running up and wrapped their arms around me, once they saw their dead son.

My eyes spill with tears, and my chest heaves. "I-I was i-in the h-house and d-did nothing..."

"Shh, it's alright Izuku. There was nothing you could do, okay?"

"I'm training t-to save p-people before th-they end up l-like this and I.. I didn't..."

Aunt Mitsuki brings me downstairs. "I'm going to call your mother, alright?"

"First," I sniff, pulling out my own phone. "I need to call Aizawa-Sensei. H-He's in charge of this c-case.."

Aunt Mitsuki nods. "Go ahead, I'll stay right here."

"Midoriya, is everything alright?" Aizawa-Sensei's voice rings through my phone.

"Bakugo is dead."

----

{Okay back to murder boi}

What I hadn't anticipated, however, was Midoriya's mood afterward.

And Aizawa-Sensei now trying to track me down harder than ever before. However, he didn't know it was me he was tracking, which made it that much easier.

Plus, I had no one else to bother.

I looked around at the empty seats in the room. Each of them with a splatter of blood on them, reading "Are you next?"

When Bakugo's appeared, it scared people the most.

Everyone knew he was the strongest in our class, so to see he had been next and failed, worried the entire class.

"What if Todoroki's next?" I heard Kaminari whisper. "They've taken out Bakugo and now are going for even stronger targets."

Sero nods in worry.

I glanced over at Mina, who was also looking at me with concern. I stare at her for a bit, she looks away, and I look back to Izuku's seat.

It's completely empty as well, but no blood splattered on it.

And everyone seems to understand why.

The whole classroom's mood had shifted today.

Just then, Aizawa-Sensei ran into the classroom. The whole class sat down quickly, but Aizawa trained his gaze on me.

I only sat quietly in my desk, my hands folded on my lap.

Don't give anything away. Don't make it obvious. He's looking for you.

"Todorki, please come with me."

The entire class' gaze turned to me. I merely stood up from my seat, not putting up an argument, and went with Aizawa.

"What were you doing this weekend?"

"I was sitting at home helping my sister out with cleaning."

"I'm going to have to ask you to go home immediately."

"What, why?"

"The Endeavor case has been opened again, and your mother is the prime suspect."

----

"Sh-Shoto? Aren't you-"

"Mom's a suspect for murder," I say, looking over at Natsuo. "And you all know what to do."

"Let me guess, Touya as well?" Natsuo looks back at me.

"I would assume so, but who knows at this point. But you say you don't know, remember? Otherwise, I will kill you all before I go in."

Good thing I made sure it was just me before heading inside.

Natsuo and Fuyumi nod, and I smile.

"Perfect. Now, is lunch ready Fuyumi?"
