Aizawa, thinks on his failings a lot. Most of them are moments someone's life has hung in the balance, in his hands, and he has fumbled. And failed. And why can't he go back and move a little faster; hold a little tighter; think a little faster; hold his eyes open just one second more?
Of course, all the rest are moments and ways in which he has let his students down. But, right now--phone hot in his hand, eyes unconsciously wide, unable to shut out the red and blue lights that scream from the news report on his television--Aizawa thinks he's never failed quite like this.
