Wow. I don't think I will ever get over of how well written this fic is. The religion discussed here is real as shit I felt like I was reading an academic text rather than a literary one (and a gay fic at that). Internalized issues really are bastards to deal with, and Heejin grew out of it pretty well by the end, honestly. Acceptance is just oh-so-beautiful. Hyunjin's self-awareness was something, too. It surprised me. I loved how mature she sounded the time she was apologizing, calling back to her ways of desperation that was so so so toxic for the both of them. God (hehe), I don't think I can explain this fic well, except for calling it "mature". It's too broad of a description, but it really is. The themes tackled were serious as fuck and I had to take moments in between reading to actually process my thoughts. I'm glad I found this fic. It's a nice deviation to the usual lighthearted works out there. 2Jin is just an added bonus.
