"I'll sleep and everything will be back to normal". That's what Ray said 2 days ago. He started coughing and whenever someone ask him, he always answer that.
But today Emma and Norman can't find him anywhere. They searched to his room and still can't find him, until Anna told them that Ray is in the infirmary. "Is he okay? It's rare for him to go to the infirmary by his own will" Emma ask Anna while looking at Norman yo ask affirmation. "He just quietly come to me and ask me where is the cold medicine" Anna explain while opening the infirmary door. "You gave him the meds and and he stay here..?" Norman take the cold medicine bottle and read the writings on there. "I told him to wait here because i need to take it from another room, he only sit on one of the beds and open his book that he bring here, and when i come back he already fall asleep" Anna fix Ray's blanket. "But you did gave him the medicine right?" Emma take a look at the medicine bottle on Norman's hand. "I wake Ray up and make him drink it before I ask him to just sleep in here, I guess he s not fully awake yet" Anna walk to one of the cupboard and take out a thermometer and walk to Ray's bed.
But when Anna moves Ray's hand, Ray open his eyes and quickly pull his hand and sit on the bed. "Sorry to startled you Ray, i just want to take your temperatures..." Anna smile to Ray. "Ah.. sorry..I-um.. I'll go back to my room" Ray get up from the bed and grab his book until Emma bump him back to the bed. "It's okay Ray! Go back to sleep here!" Emma hold Ray's shoulder. "What... Emma.. since when- Norman is here too?!" Ray look at Emma and Norman.
"Your cold got worse, huh" Norman put the medicine bottle on the table. "It just got better, I'll go back to my room now" he tried to get up even though he know he can't win from Emma's power in his condition. "Stay here Ray! If you back to your room now, you will avoid us like these 2 days!" Emma struggled to keep Ray down even now when he is weaker than usual. "I'm fi-" he cough in the mid of his sentence and get a little embarrassed. Anna give him water buthe refused it. "Thank you but I'm really fine" Ray slightly push the water glass before start to cough again. Norman take the water glass and put it really close to Ray's mouth. "It won't stop until you drink you know" he help Ray sit on the bed and give him the glass. Ray drink a small amount of the water. After he stop coughing, he rest on the headboard.
He can't he is fine to them now, but he don't want to get taken care by anyone and stay in the infirmary. "I'll get your clean shirt Ray" Emma walk to the door. "Emma, wai-" Ray sighed after he can't see Emma anymore.
"Give it up Ray, just obediently sleep here" Norman took the medicine bottle again. "It says here that this meds make you sleepy, so you must be really sleepy too now, isn't it" Norman peek at Ray's eyes. Ray look away, tried to hide his drowsiness. -Why Norman always successfully read him- "Wha-?! What are you doing?!" Ray tried to pull his hand when Norman suddenly take it. Norman smile at Ray and start pressing a certain point on Ray's wrist.
He realised how Norman become stronger compared to when they are small. Ray is to sluggish to fight Norman now, but he still pulling his hand as hard as he can. But the harder he fight Norman's grip, his headache become stronger. He closed his eyes. And before he know it, he fall asleep. "It works, huh" Norman put Ray's hand back and moves Ray to sleeping position. Now Anna can take his temperature. When Emma come back with Ray's clothes, she help Anna prepari Ray's medicine.
