I once believed that heroes would always be the ones to save those from the dark of the world, but I was proven ever so wrong that one day. The day a hero killed me, and a villain saved what was left.

And now the heroes who wronged me will be allowed to climb high, and I will be there at the top

To push them back down.

~*~*~*~

Izuku lay, bloodied on the path, unmoving, just trying to breath…Was breathing always this difficult? Izuku heard voices, he was able to shift his head to look, he saw Bakugo with All Might… I wonder what they are talking about…

“Do you accept my quirk, Young Bakugo?” All Might’s booming voice said, Izuku felt his heart break, his breathing became worse. Calm down and breath! Calm down and breath!

A cold feeling overcame him, tears dripped from the corner of his eyes, this was how he was going to die… at the hands of the next symbol of peace. A black mist began to surround the broke body of the boy, removing him from sight.

Izuku gasped into life, breathing heavily as if he had just run a marathon. He looked up at the dark ceiling, before sitting up. Where was he? He was in a dark room, a large room, the only light was from a computer screen. Izuku looked around, green eyes trying to make out anything in the mass of shadows.

“I see you are awake.” Izuku jumped to see a man in a wheel chair, the top part of his head looked more like a potato, but he wisely kept his mouth closed.

“Yes… where… where am I? I…” Izuku stopped. “Is this hell?”

“Why would you ask that?” The man asked

“Because I should be dead…” Izuku muttered

“Well, you’re not, we found you in time. You can run along now.” The man dismissed him, and fear spiked through him.

“I can’t just go! I can’t leave here, I can’t go home and be normal!” Izuku gasped. “Being quirkless made my life a misery, but now my main bully is getting All Might’s quirk I am a dead kid!” The man was silent.

“You… know about All Might’s quirk?” He ask curiously.

“Not meant too, but he found my main bully right after he had finished beating the hell out of me.” Izuku huffed.

“I see… then, I think we can help each other here.” The man said

“What do you mean?” Izuku asked, before it clicked. “Ah, you’re a villain right?”

“Are you scared?”

“What about the Number one hero choosing the one who almost killed me makes me fear you more ?” Izuku asked, the man laughed.

“That is very true, what is your name child?”

“Midoriya Izuku.”

“I am All for One, you can call me Sensei.”

“Okay, sensei…. How can we help each other?” Izuku asked

“I am All Might nemesis. Either I kill him, or he kills me. But I have killed the last 7 holders of his quirk, so you can guess how it will go. You know All Might’s secret and you know his successor. I am suggesting a trade of information.” Sensei said, “I will give you whatever you want in return.”

“Anything…” Izuku repeated.

“Yes, what do you wish for most in the world, Young Midoriya?”  Sensei asked

“Somewhere safe.” Izuku replied. “Somewhere that doesn’t discard me for being quirkless.”

“That can be easily given, child.” Sensei said, out of everyone, he had received such a pure answer. “You can have a room in the base of my underlings. I will make sure you have everything you need, if there anything you want to get from home?”

“Yes… but my mom won’t let me leave again…” Izuku began

“I can sort that out, Kurogiri!” Sensei said, a man of mist appeared.

“Oho! You’re quirk is so cool! How does it work?” Izuku asked

“It is a warp.” Kurogiri replied, Izuku’s eyes shone happily.

“Kurogiri, I need you to warp young midoriya to his room to get his stuff, can you have a room prepared for him here too. He will be staying here with us.” Sensei said, “You may want to warn Tomura too.”

“Of course sir.” Kurogiri created a warp, Izuku looked at it nervous. He stepped through it and found himself in his room. He could hear voices down stairs.

“It must be an Honour! To be trained by All Might himself! You know Izuku would love to hear all about it… He has never been this late before.” Inko sighed “Oh, well, I know he will be back before nightfall, but I should ground him over the weekend for this.”

“I can’t blame you Inko.” Mitsuki replied, Izuku scowled, and got to work. He piled all his note books into a spare backpack, a few clothes and few items he would need. He glared around his room at all his posters, and smiled, picking up a permanent Marker. On every poster Izuku wrote the same words…

A hero shouldn’t be judged by their quirk, but their actions!

LIER

All Might’s own words from an interview. He quietly broke all his merch, it was unsellable, so no one could make money for his misguidance. Before he wrote a small note,

I think it is about time I found my own way in this world. You all push be back and down, expect me to listen to your discrimination. I am quirkless and will make you regret EVERYTHING.

Izuku left it on the desk next to his door, he picked up the bag, he pulled his phone from his pocket and left it on his bed. With one last look around his room, Izuku stepped into the portal, never to look back. Sensei seemed to smile as he re-joined him.

“I sense you had a good time finishing up there.” He commented.

“I had a hero obsession. I just destroy the merch I had so no one can sell it. But I brought these… They might interest you.” Izuku held out a note book before frowning “You don’t have eyes…. Neve…”

“I can see without them Midoriya, it is one of many quirks I have, let me see.” Sensei held out his hand. Izuku passed it over. Sensei spent a while looking over it.

“These are impressive Midoriya. I would like to speak you more about these, but it late.” Sensei gave him the notebook back. “You should rest, we can talk tomorrow. Kurogiri has sorted out your new room ready.”

“Oh, okay… Thank you sensei!” Izuku bowed and followed Kurogiri out. Sensei chuckled.

“Well done heroes. You made yourself a deadly enemy.” He muttered to himself.

Author's Note: A little note just to say this is a side fic for me, I don't have a schedule for this, I will write chapters when I want, finish them with no deadline and will update them wherever I want. Please don't ask for updates.

Kurogiri showed Izuku to his room and left him to settle in. Izuku looked around the empty room with only a bed and desk. He put his things down and signed, there was really no going back now. He wondered what would happen now… he wouldn’t be going back to school for sure, that wasn’t too bad, it meant he didn’t have to deal with them anymore. And he would have to find a way to be helpful to sensei… he had been kind enough to let him stay, he had to do something in return, more than his analysis. He heard footsteps outside, and the door was opened. Izuku turned to find himself looking up at an older male. Light blueish hair that fell in front of his face, red eyes gleaming… but his eyes were different from Bakugo’s, which was a huge relief.

“Um… hi…” Izuku muttered.

“Do you play video games?” He asked, Izuku stopped, and shook his head.

“No… sorry… My mom would always say no encase it encouraged me to think above my station as quirkless.” Izuku huffed, he had no idea if that was true, but it was the only logical reason he could think of as she never let him play any sort of games.

“Come with me.” He said, Izuku assumed this must be the Tomura, Sensei had mentioned. Tomura’s room has a big tv and many different gaming consoles. He motioned for Izuku to sit next to him, before passing him a Switch, Tomura picked up his own.

“um…” Izuku looked at it confused.

“I’m gonna teach you how to play.” Tomura said, Izuku looked at him, and then back at the console

“All Might life I wanted to be a hero…” Izuku muttered, Tomura looked at him with a disgusted glance. “But if I knew becoming a villain would be like this, I would have joined years ago!” Izuku ended with a smile, he looked at Tomura, who had a surprised expression.

“Good, we can make up for lost time. Anyway, I have been meaning to try out this game, but it is better in multiplayer, when someone has your back.” Tomura says

“Oh…” Izuku recognises the game, something Katsuki played and the others in his class wouldn’t shut up about. He had a rough idea of what to expect from it. He made an account and Tomura added him as a friend. Their first round… could have been a lot better but was also a lot worst. Izuku sighed sadly.

“Not bad, for a noob. You thought about it all strategically.” Tomura said

“We’ll it’s survival right?” Izuku asked “I can see why working as a team helps, you have someone to watch your back, and working in a team lets you have different jobs. I noticed you were a pretty good aim, so… I felt you would be better if I concentrated on building a stronghold as such…” Izuku blushed as he stopped.

“Good thinking. Let’s try again!” Tomura said

“O-Okay!” Izuku nodded. Kurogiri checked on the boys later, finding Izuku leaning against Tomura asleep, as the older boy continued playing a different game. Tomura glanced over at Kurogiri, before turning back to his game.

“The ones that hurt him, we got names yet?” He asked

“No.” Kurogiri replied.

“When we do, I am going to destroy everything they have.” Tomura growled out. Kurogiri was a little surprised but said nothing.

In his lab, Sensei smiled. He Knew Tomura would be fond of Izuku, a child against the world, much like he had been. No one had been there to help either of them. He gave Kurogiri a list of items to get, all paid for, gifts for Izuku. He knew the boy would enjoy them, much more then the spare room he was given… he could wait to see how Izuku would react to his real room.

~*~*~*~

The morning News hit everyone with shock. A 14-year-old missing.

Runaway – they all assumed

Maybe manipulated by some villain.

Toshinori saw the news in his small flat, hands covering his mouth as he looked at the picture of the missing boy. It was that kid… He could never forget the look of the young boy he destroyed the dreams off… and the pictures of his destroyed merch, the note… He would hate to think some villain found him and was using him…. he had to find him. He called his friend on the police force and offered his assistance in the search for the boy.

Katsuki was pissed. That fucking deku, breaking his mothers heart as he was. He was going to find the useless asshole and make him come back, even if he had to drag him back kicking and screaming. But… he had left him in bad shape… something he would never admit to of course… and there was a chance a villain found him and was forcing Izuku to do stuff against his will. The Deku would never destroy his All Might merch as it had been. He snarled at the news…. If only the asshole remembered his place…

Izuku watched the news silently as he ate a bowl of cereal, made by Kurogiri. Tomura was sitting there two but was watching him instead of the news.

“You really did that to all that merch?” Tomura asked

“Well, yeah. He was… he was just like everyone else. Why would I admire someone who would treat me like that? Besides the kid that almost killed me is now his successor. So, yeah, not the biggest fan anymore.” Izuku replied, taking another spoonful. “They are being over dramatic though.”

“You can blame them. A 14-year-old gone after he rescued another teen and the destruction of his hero things. They are suspecting he has gone rouge because of some unknown reason, or he has been kidnapped and forced into doing what has been done. Considering they won’t shut about the fact he is quirkless, they are assuming the latter.” Kurogiri said

“Assuming I am being forced because no way a quirkless kid would ever consider being a villain… despite the constant bulling, abuse, and daily discrimination. Yeah, a quirkless kid has absolutely no reason for being a villain.” Izuku muttered sourly. “I am not weak…”

“No you’re not.” Sensei’s voice came through an old TV screen. Izuku jumped. “If you were weak, you would have ended it all many years ago. You are strong, because you were determined to succeed.” Izuku frowned

“Yeah, on something that is pointless to me now…” Izuku said

“We just need to get to set on a new path. Kurogiri, it is time to show Izuku his true room.” Sensei said

“My true room?” Izuku repeated

“Of course, this way Midoriya.” Kurogiri said and began to lead him away. Izuku jumped off his chair and hurried after him. Tomura huffed but also followed.

Author's note: Hey, sorry I have been gone for a while, been a little busy with uni, and I am so behind with main fics I am just waiting to get them all done and post them in December.

In other news watched Encanto, and I am very gay for Lusia and Mirabelle, I love them both and will kill for them. And been slightly obsessed with this fic for a few days to the point I have completed up to Chapter 8 - so I have a fair few chapters to post.

So, I hope you guys enjoy this random update!

Also, news abo ut the original novel I was working on over at my Twitter. https://twitter.com/JadeMHunt

Kurogiri lead him to the room across from Tomura instead of the room he had spent the night in. Kurogiri nodded at him to enter when Izuku glanced up at him before looking at the door. Nervously, Izuku pushed open the door and gasped. In the corner there was a bed with side table, very comfy looking – better than his old bed at home. And the rest of the room had a long desk all around the room, upon them was the most high-tech computers, books on different computer related things including hacking. There was a smaller screen on the wall above the main screens, the screen static. It was a researching paradise, Izuku was smiling not sure what to look at first.

“What do you think Midoriya?” Sensei asked, he was curious of what the boy thought.

“I can research more…Research anything – can I?” Izuku muttered, he found his hands twitching. He wasn’t sure what to research, maybe more quirks. Work on more heroes… type up his notebooks and make them better. Dive deeper into what their quirks can do…

“Of course, research to your hearts content – I know we will all profit from anything you wish to look into. I have added you to my private server, you can access all my research too. All my research from when I started, hundreds of years ago.” Sensei said, Izuku hurried over to the computers and they turned on easily. “You have the only account, add a password at your leisure.” Izuku was beaming as he had a look, he immediately dug into Sensei’s research, everything was fascinating. He frowned as he came across some notes and biological information, he began to look through them curiously.

“Oh, that’s a Nomu.” Tomura answered.

“A Nomu?” Izuku repeated. He looked through the data. “Oh… multiple quirks in one person makes them doll like… in a body like that, they listen to commands… You have multiple of these creatures…” Izuku said “What is the main reason for these? They look pretty important with how much detail have gone into these.”

“I want a Nomu that can think like a human.” Sensei replied. Izuku was silent, he kept digging. The silence was getting to the sensei. “Is that an issue?” He asked

“Tried using a quirkless person?” Izuku asked.

“What?” Sensei seemed taken back with his reply.

“To make a Nomu, a quirkless person… is someone with a quirk becomes a doll when given more… it might be because their bodies are already overloaded with their own…. A quirkless person might just be able to accept a few more.” Izuku said. Sensei chuckled.

“I knew you were something else, Midoriya Izuku. Tomura. I want you to relax with Izuku today. Tomorrow, we shall go over our plans, I feel Izuku will be a perfect addition to our league.” Izuku blushed but smiled. He left the room. He was excited to get to work.

~*~*~*~

“You need a code name if you are going to be working with the main league tomorrow.” Tomura said, he and Izuku going a few more rounds of Fortnite. The older man was impressed with how quickly Izuku learnt the game, and they were a current team hurrying up the ranks.

“Um, what kind of name would I go for?” Izuku asked.

“Don’t know… maybe you could one of those hero names you wanted to use.” Tomura said. “Would a be a huge fuck you to them.”

“So… I should call myself something like All Might Junior?” Izuku huffed. “As I said, I was obsessed with All Might. I want no connection. Unless it is me sharing his quirk secret and that the boy he picked as his successor almost killed me.”

“Fair enough.” Tomura said no more, but as they continued playing, it was clear Izuku was still thinking about it.”

“Maybe I can such words synonyms to pick from. And just go with one of them.” Izuku suggested after a while.

“I guess that could work.” Tomura nodded, he lent Izuku his phone to do a quick search. Tomura played a few solo games before Izuku had found something, or he made a thoughtful noise. “You got something?”

“I think I do… It is a synonym of a word that is used to describe someone who is Immoral.” Izuku passed his phone back so he could have a look.

“Sounds good.” Tomura nodded

“But I think you guys should just call me a researcher in meetings… and that name when out.” Izuku said “That way no one will have anything on that name, other than the words of villains. It would send them for a whole loop about the idea of a research the villains outside their knowledge.”

“It would really fuck them up, they wouldn’t trust any researchers if we get so much hero information.” Tomura smirked. Izuku chuckled.

“Sounds like an okay plan, don’t it?” Izuku asked

“Sounds like a good plan. It’s going to be fun having you around, NightHawk.” Tomura said. Izuku smiled happily.

“It’s going to be fun being here.” He replied.

~*~*~*~

Toshinori was watching Bakugo working on cleaning the beach, his mind lost on the young boy who was missing. Young Midoriya… Surely a name and face he would never forget for some time, if ever.

“Young Bakugo, did you know the missing boy? Midoriya Izuku?” He asked his successor as he stopped to eat.

“Yeah, our moms are best friends, known him since we were born basically. For the record, it’s a bullshit idea that he did all that willingly.” Bakugo huffed. “The nerd loves heroes too much to even think those things.”

“I thought of much… I hate the idea of someone vulnerable being used by villains.” All Might sighed. Bakugo glanced to him.

“Whoever took him must be powerful if they got him to break all his hero stuff. He is too much of a hero obsessed nerd to do that.” Bakugo said

“Then, let’s hope we can find him soon… who knows what they might be able to make him do next.” All Might frowned. Bakugo said nothing else… he wouldn’t be able to do anything else…. Deku was completely useless, what could he do?

~*~*~*~

Izuku was in his new room, typing away at his computers, looking over all the Nomu experiments. Tomura was sitting on his bed, playing a game, occasionally looking up to check on Izuku. He had a grin on his face.

“You on to something?” Tomura asked

“Definitely.” Izuku nodded. “I really want to help out on the next one… this could be a lot of fun. I wish you guys had taken me sooner. It’s nice to be do something useful.”

“Like wise, we would probably have had a bigger advantage with our work.” Tomura said “At least you are here now.”

“Yep, and I won’t be leaving.” Izuku grinned.

Chapter Text

Author note: So I am currently on holiday so I am posting a ton of chapters I have at the ready but not posted, so I hope you all enjoy.

Kurogiri made them both dinner that night, Izuku happily dug in, and even offered to cook some nights to give Kurogiri a break. Surprising Tomura and Kurogiri, but Kurogiri was happy to accept to get a night free from cooking meals.

“You know how to cook?” Tomura asked curiously.

“Yep, my mother would work late some nights and I would be left to make myself something cause I wasn’t planning on eating sandwiches for dinner when my lunch was destroyed at school. I made my own meals.” Izuku nodded. “as long as I have the ingredients and a recipe to follow, I like to think I am a fairly good cook.”

“Is there anything you can’t do?” Tomura muttered.

“Fight.” Izuku replied easily. The villains glanced at him. “I can take a punch with an active quirk and remain standing. Had a lot of practice. But I can’t throw a punch or anything like that.”

“It is not the villains that fight in the streets that cause the most issues, NightHawk.” Sensei’s voice came from the tv, Izuku looked towards it. “It is the villains who are smart, that meticulously plan their assaults are the ones who should be feared. You will be feared more then I, after all, you will prove their society wrong.”

“I guess… so, the unknown villains, the ones who never show themselves, that are more a mystery are also a huge threat, right?” Izuku asked.

“Yes, I remain hidden, but the stories about me never died, I am a legend that still calls the small-time villains to believe in my existence, and to fear it.” Sensei replied.

“You’re thinking something.” Tomura said, Izuku nodded.

“People think villains have kidnapped me, right? That all this is against my will…” Izuku smirked. “Why don’t we let them run with that story?”

“They may put a lot of effort in to trying to find you.” Sensei warned.

“True… but I am a very fast learner…” Izuku said. “And I am fairly sure I could make NightHawk extremely feared. Say I am able to call the police, have one of your acting like you are trying to get into a locked room, and I explain to them that I was targeted because of what I lack, get it out to the media. The villains are targeting the quirkless because they see them as powerful pieces in a much larger game, bring up NightHawk, the researcher, the hacker. The reason I am here.” Izuku stopped. “I can find out how to hack, give me a bit, and how to cover a phone call. I can get it sorted out… of course, only if I am allowed too.” Izuku looked at the screen.

“It would put him in danger of the heroes…” Tomura said

“Yes, but if done correctly, by the right person. It may work perfectly with our own plans.” Sensei commented. “If you are able to pull this off, Izuku, you will be someone even I will recognise as a danger. Manipulation is something I pride myself in, Kurogiri, get Izuku a burner phone, and any books on hacking.” Izuku looked at the screen in surprise. “If this is what you want to do, I will support you, by being here to help if your require it, and to make sure you have everything to fulfil your desires.”

“T-thank you!” Izuku blushed, Tomura looked at him curiously, with a slight smirk. “Don’t look at me like that, I was told my whole life every single one of ideas were worthless and I should just stop with plans…” Izuku pouted.

“I know the league will be better with your advice, NightHawk. I will go and prepare some things for you. I will speak to you tomorrow.” Sensei’s screen turned off.

“Are you sure about this?” Tomura asked, watching Izuku concerned.

“Sure… I need to do something… The world has fucked me over too many times. It’s about time I paid them back in kind – right?”  Izuku gave a small smile. “And I know I have you there to help.” Tomura huffed.

“Someone’s got to keep an eye on you.” He said, Izuku smiled softly. He was happy he was with the league, he finally felt accepted. “After this, let’s play a few more rounds on that Fortnite game.” Tomura added before taking a large mouthful, Izuku smiled.

“Right! I need to work on my strategy!” Izuku nodded and happily dug in again.

~*~*~*~

Izuku and Tomura sat back-to-back in the older boy’s room, Izuku acting as the major defence and builder for their pair, whilst Tomura took out the opponents around them as they moved onward as the area shrunk.

“You’re getting better.” Tomura commented as they got 6th place. Izuku huffed and shook his head.

“Not building fast enough, and I need to remember what bits to build. I need to stop making stupid mistakes.” Izuku growled out.

“There not stupid.” Tomura told him. “Those are someone else’s words, right?” Izuku remained silent, but the voices of his teachers and classmates echoed in his head painfully. “You only just started the game, of course your gonna make mistakes, but you’ll learn.” Tomura told him.

“You - you don’t think I’m stupid for making mistakes?” Izuku asked softly.

“You’re human right? Even I fuck up in games sometimes. Sensei says Mistakes are human, we can only learn from them.” Tomura huffed. “Have to accept them cause you can’t save before a potential fuck up.” Izuku chuckled softly at his words.

“I guess, thanks Tomura. I feel better.” Izuku smiled.

“Take it as a life lesson I guess.” Tomura shrugged. “I’m your older brother, read that means I have to give good advice.” Izuku chuckled.

“Thanks, I’m going to like having a brother.” Izuku said softly.

“Me too. Another Round?” Tomura asked.

“Sure, I think I have a plan in mind.” Izuku nodded, the two of them got into a new game, each focusing on their roles in the game.

~*~*~*~

Izuku was up late that night, thinking about his first thoughts when he had learnt about the Nomu’s. He did want to help with them – but in the end, using Quirkless people for that experimentation was not a good idea. Izuku wanted to come up with a better solution, he would have to start early tomorrow.

Chapter Text

Izuku woke up early the next morning, and wasted no time getting changed before falling into his new chair Sensei brought him. He laughed lightly as it spun, before he stopped it before the computers. Izuku grinned as he dove headfirst into the information Sensei had so gratefully allowed him unrestricted access too. All the research he had done was amazing, he could definitely work with this – with his analysis – if it was truly worth what Sensei claimed, he could make the most powerful Nomu, covering all basis. The ones so far were all amazing, all created to combat All Might, and later Bakugo. Izuku enjoyed looking through all the information on each unique Nomu, he barely noticed Tomura entering his room, nor when the older teen stood behind him, watching his screens with interest.

Tomura remained silent as Izuku continued to flick between each Nomu, muttering softly to himself, not that Tomura could make out a single word he was saying. But considering Sensei spoke highly of Izuku’s analysis, he could only assume the kid had thought of something interesting, or he was trying to work out the specifics of the creatures.

“Nullification would probably work better for this one-” Izuku muttered frowned, checking out the quirks listed for one Nomu.

“We –” Tomura began, but Izuku squeaked and fell sideways out of the chair. The young teen stared up at Tomura with wide eyes, Tomura just raised a brow at him. “As I was saying, We can ask Sensei, he probably has one.”

“Oh, erm, right.” Izuku nodded, hurrying back on to his seat. “I was just thinking, this one has Shock absorption, if it goes against All Might, it will only be able to absorb a certain about of his power, if All Might goes over that amount he will still be able to overpower it. So, nullification would leave him powerless in all senses, thus – better to defeat him, or at least survive longer against him.” Izuku explained, Tomura hummed lightly.

“Yeah, I can see that. Tell Sensei, he’ll work it out.” Tomura shrugged, “Anyway, Kurogiri made breakfast, you coming?”

“Oh, right yeah!” Izuku nodded, jumping up and walking with Tomura from his room. “I was just so excited to getting right into work! I am behind everyone else here, so I have to catch up and do my part!”

“Na you don’t, you don’t have to catch up to anyone. You have your own plan to fuck the hero society, take your time.” Tomura replied. “And Sensei is always telling me not to be afraid to ask for help, so yeah, keep that in mind.” Izuku looked up at him with bright eyes and small smile.

“Okay, thanks.” Izuku nodded, Tomura just made a noncommittal noise as they reached the bar. Kurogiri had already set two bowls of miso soup on the bar top, Izuku happily took the place next to Tomura and dug in hungrily.

“Glad you have such a hearty appetite.” Izuku glanced up as the Tv crackled to life.

“Mornin’ Sensei!” Izuku greeted happily.

“And so enthusiastic.” Sensei chuckled. “I saw you already had a look into the files.”

“Yeah, I have so many ideas, I’m gonna write them all up for you and then you can do whatever with them.” Izuku beamed. “Honestly, I am going to love the work.”

“I’m glad, I have left a small backdoor into my personal computer, you may place anything there for me, and I will get to listen to it.” Sensei told him.

“Okay!” Izuku nodded, The Tv went silent again. “So, what is everyone else doing today?” He asked curiously.

“We have newcomers coming to check out the league.” Tomura groaned, poking at his vegetables. “I don’t want to deal with their bullshit today.”

“Tomura.” Kurogiri warned, the older teen just sighed.

“Don’t you want new people joining?” Izuku frowned.

“Most people are barely noteworthy NPC’s; they are no better than cannon fodder in my eyes.” Tomura frowned.

“Well, I bet I can make their quirk worth something!” Izuku smiled. Tomura glanced to him.

“Fine, I’ll make sure you get electronic files of each of them, you can decide what they do.” Tomura said.

“Really?” Izuku beamed.

“Sure.” Tomura found himself smiling lightly, before quickly hiding it as Izuku went back to his breakfast.

~*~*~*~

After breakfast, Izuku returned to his room and settled back into his work, headphones on and blocking out all the noise around him as he dug further into the files. Only looking up as a portal appeared and a bunch of books were dropped on his free desk. Izuku removed his headphones and went to check them out. They were all books on hacking and professional computing. Izuku smiled, taking the basics for hacking book, and settled in his seat, putting his feet up he began to read it, knowing how worthy it would be to have hacking as a skill, he could be much more helpful, and maybe even cause more discourse with the media once he finally put his plan into operation.

Tomura would check in on him now and again, just to make sure he was okay. At Lunch, he had found Izuku had migrated to his bed with the book and was happily reading it. Kurogiri made Izuku leave the book to eat lunch, before the teen rushed back to the pages, already enmeshed in the programming language.

Izuku checked the news once during that day out of curiosity, the news of a quirkless teen lightly being manipulated by villains was still over the news, Izuku smiled lightly at all the theories as he stopped looking. He would make the world see just how dangerous a single quirkless teen could be, he couldn’t wait to truly get his revenge on the ones that hurt him the most. Izuku turned back to the book, he still had a lot to learn before all that, and he wasn’t going to waste a second of his learning.

Bakugo stood under the bridge with a scowl as he looked around, the blood that Deku left behind was already washed away, like he had never been laying there. The villains must have grabbed him whilst he was even more useless then ever – but at least he could point the blame of any injuries on the villains now – so he honestly had to thank them for making his life easier. He scoffed as he kicked a stone, causing it to bounce of the wall.

“Where the fuck are you Deku?” He growled.

“Hey Tomura, got a question.” Izuku sat next Tomura at the bar, the older teen look at him. But noticed the worry over the boy’s face and he began to worry that something else had happened.

“Something wrong?” He asked

“I -” Izuku stopped, thinking about what words to use. “I have ideas, but I need to speak to Sensei them. But – I’m not sure how to do it, and scared cause what if they’re stupid?” Izuku laid his head on the bar, arms covering his head. Tomura didn’t know what to say at first, but he could tell that Izuku seemed to be waiting for some verbal dress down – and it actually hurt him to see Izuku that way.

“Sensei wouldn’t think that you’re smart – so you got nothing to worry about. Wish I could think of half the things you could.” Tomura told him, Izuku glanced up at him shyly.

“And I am always available to hear your thoughts, Midoriya.” Sensei spoke through the screen, causing Izuku to jump a little, but Tomura patted his back. “Kurogiri, can you warp Midoriya to me, I feel speaking it person would be best.”

Kurogiri didn’t react from cleaning glasses, but easily created a warp. With a reassuring hair ruffle from Tomura, Izuku headed through to see Sensei.

The Ancient Villain smiled when Izuku stepped into his room, the teen seemed a lot more – child-like when his fear was on full show. Sensei couldn’t help but wish the worst of pain upon those who had destroyed his confidence – but made he could deal with them personally once he helped the child find that confidence, and become everything he could be.

“Young Midoriya, don’t be afraid, please I am rather intrigued to hear your thoughts.” Sensei assured him, Izuku looked at him for a moment, before sighing and nodding.

“So, Okay. I’ve been thinking a lot about Nomu’s and their general creation and the effects of multiple quirks in one person – personally a fascinating study which I want to look into, thinking of several theories already – but I can get on to them later. But - as stupid as this sounds for being a villain now – but I think I know how we can experiment with quirkless people being used as a base for Nomu’s, without actually hurting anyone quirkless.” Izuku mumbled. “Cause, you know, they didn’t do anything, and society fucks with us enough it wouldn’t be right to try anything with them – we’d be just as bad as the rest of society -”

“Don’t be so worried, Midoriya. They are you after all, you face the same troubles, the fears and discrimination. I will not touch others quirkless, heroes and society make them suffer enough.” The ancient villain assured him, Izuku sighed in relief.

“So, okay, I was thinking. If you have done all this biological experimentation – do you perhaps know how to – clone?” Izuku asked, Sensei was silent for a moment.

“What are you thinking, my child?” He spoke carefully.

“You could clone me! And well, those clones could be used as bases for future Nomu’s, and with that maybe mess with the genetics of the clone to make it seem, different. But in the end, all will be fundamentally quirks, clear bases.” Izuku beamed “I’ve already looked into the science behind cloning and the genetic selection – with further research we could make it all work for us, we will just need to find quirks – What if we could learn to clone quirks? That would need a lot more research – but it’s not impossible…” Izuku fell into muttering more ideas, what would need to be done to even get to a point for it to work. Sensei could just listen to the child, watching with his heat vision as the boy paced back and forth. He was honestly speechless, and that was not something that happened a lot. This boy, this child, had literally come up with a plan that could streamline the process of making Nomu’s even offering himself as a potential base and with the idea of cloning quirks – He could not express how thrilled he was the boy was found by him before he wanted and tried to become a hero - if he had turned to heroics, the league would have stood no chance with such superior thinking processes.

“My child, rest your voice.” Sensei said, causing Izuku too stop. Izuku was looking at him worried. “I know you have your own project to work on, but my child – my dear child.” Sensei shook his head lightly with a smile. “I have been alive for a long time; some may say too long. And it is rare if never, that I meet a mind like yours.” Izuku blushed lightly. “And I would like you to look into it more for me. I shall grant you access to all lab records, the doctor in charge of Nomu creation should have nothing to say when it is something I personally believe you’ll be able to make better.”

“R-really?” Izuku stammered.

“Whilst I am known to lie for my gain – I have nothing to gain by lying to you, and everything to gain by listening to you.” Sensei told him, Izuku gave a small smile. “I am not a good man, but I think you know that well enough. But you are one of the people I don’t think Lying too will be beneficial, for any of us. You are smart, my child, incredibly so. But I suspect your school tried to dampen your abilities.” Izuku glanced down sadly.

“I was – accused of cheating for every score I got, because I beat everyone else.” Izuku told him.

“And that should speak volumes to you, my child. That teachers knew your mental prowess, and I hope they are afraid now – because you will become something so much better than this world.” Sensei told him. Izuku sighed as he took in everything Sensei was saying, trying to fight the tears. “Come here, my child.” Sensei held his arms open. Izuku let his tears go as he rushed forward and happily accepted the hug. Sensei held the boy close; he made another silent promise – all those that made this child suffer would have the same fate as those who hurt Tomura. No one would hurt his children again – he would make sure of it.

Chapter Text

After that day, Izuku’s intelligence truly began to shock the league, after a month of being there he had made huge changes to how they did things, Sensei was happy to led Izuku lead the more strategic plans and Tomura saw his worth in that way and was happy to listen when Izuku had new plans. Izuku, now free from all verbal abuse for his muttering and ideas, let nothing stand in the way of his mind. If he wanted to research something, he could – there were no limits to anything anymore, once he learnt how to hack, sensei would create firewalls for him to practice on, and Izuku enjoyed the challenges and the league would happily listen to his enthusiastic muttering on building the ideal firewall – which he was now working on alongside his work – he was hacking into police and heroic records, finding all information he could about his case, and keeping a close eye on All Might’s movements.

In addition to everything, small villains who were brought into the league all heard about the mysterious Nighthawk – the strategic master of the League of villains, and that news grew in the underground. Izuku was able to monitor all whispers about Nighthawk – small talks from underground heroes warning the police about the rumours and how they were not sure what Nighthawk could do – but whilst he thought the rumours of his skills were embellished – but Sensei and Tomura assured him they were actually modest compared to his actual skill, causing Izuku to blush deeply.

~*~*~*~

“It’s been about a month, right?” Tomura asked quietly as Izuku sat next to him, working on a tablet – a gift from Sensei for all his hard work. The Ancient Villain had learn that rewarding Izuku with such gifts he could use to aid his research helped boost the kid enthusiasm and Izuku had slowly began to grow in confidence.

“Since I got here? I’d say so.” Izuku nodded, frowning at the sketch and notes he was making. His cloning idea was actually working so far, the amount he had learnt about genetics, and with the doctor, who Izuku was very surprised to find was actually his childhood doctor, they had finally grown the first body for Nomu testing – it was just a matter of what quirks.

“So, I actually got you something.” Tomura mumbled, causing Izuku to glance to him. Tomura held out a wrapped box, it was small, but Izuku accepted it excitedly. Izuku found everything gift to be precious, from the smallest of things. Tomura actually loved watching the child who had become his baby brother look like it was his birthday, but he carefully unwrapped it and gasped happily as he pulled out a small plush, of a Pokémon from one of his games that Izuku had immediately fell in love with. Magikarp.

“Thank you.” He smiled with soft tears in his eyes.

“You can turn it inside out too, check it out.” Tomura urged him. Izuku did so, the Magikarp turning to A Gyarados, Izuku laughed and embraced it tightly. “Even the useless can become the most fearsome of beasts – that Pokémon proves it, and you prove it.” Izuku laughed lightly.

“I guess, thanks Tomura. I love it.” Izuku smiled, wiping his eyes.

“So, you thought of what to do for your first Nomu. Sensei mentioned the doctor is a little impatient to hear your thoughts. You got him riled kid.” Tomura asked.

“See, that’s just what I’m working on right now. It’s a matter of what kind of Nomu we need. Speed based, more offensive, defensive, overpowered, stealth, tank – Sensei gave me a list of quirks I can use freely for my first test, I just can’t decide.” Izuku huffed, tapping the table lightly, looking back at the table, I have combinations that work well, maybe should start with a whole-rounder, a Nomu that is just – you know – has a quirk to help with everything.” Izuku sighed at his notes with a sad look.

“Maybe – maybe start with a healer? They’re pretty important, Right?” Tomura asked, Izuku froze for a moment, Tomura went to apologise before Izuku stared at him with shining eyes.

“You have just gave me the best idea – ever!” Izuku beamed. “If I think of it like a game – I’d be able to work from that – the Nomu created to fight All Might is an all-rounder – strength, defence and healing. So, let’s think – mage now. We have our tank; we need a mage for range.” Izuku immediately began looking through the quirks muttering to himself. Tomura smiled softly and just watched Izuku do his thing.

Izuku sent his plan to the Doctor, who thanked him with th promise of starting as soon as possible and would keep him up to date on the progress. Izuku leant back in his chair with a smile, he did a quick search for the latest news of his disappearance, it was surprisingly still pretty big news – he guessed making nods between his disappearance and the new villain Nighthawk was enough to keep the police looking into his case whether they assumed they were the same person, or if Nighthawk had something to do with his disappearance. He smiled; he’d be able to proceed with his main plan soon – he was just waiting for the last pieces to fall into place.

~*~*~*~

“What’s wrong?” Toshinori asked Tsukauchi Naomasa, who sighed.

“We’ve been getting a lot of tell of a new villain on the scene, Nighthawk. We don’t know much, but what we do know – its worrying.” Tsukauchi sighed.

“Powerful?” Toshi asked

“Not really – not powerful in the physical sense, but their mental prowess is – terrifying.” Tsukauchi frowned, “But we only know little from what other villains have heard, no one actually knows them, what they look like, what their quirk is-”

“The villains that work in the shadows are the most dangerous.” Toshinori frowned, knowing just how dangerous they could be. They hadn’t long been able to get rid of All for One, though it had been a few years but everything he had done would still be felt for years, to have another mastermind who knew how to work within the shadows without being found – Toshi could only wish they were not as dangerous as the last King of the Underground.

Chapter Text

Izuku looked down at the burner phone in his hands, trying to pick up the courage to start this whole endeavour – but he couldn’t do it. The idea of it now was suffocating him, he didn’t want to do it, but also did. He was confused and scared. His anxiety spiked when Sensei called him in to see him. Izuku looked at the ancient villain nervously.

“Come here my child.” Sensei held out his hand, Izuku couldn’t help but feel like a child as he took Sensei’s hand and the ancient Villain pulled him close into a hug. “I know, despite this being your plan, such a task is going to be hard. This is new for you, all of this, its only natural for you to be scared – even anxious about this all.” Izuku frowned.

“But this is still my plan! I should be able to go through with it-” Izuku began

“Maybe – those bullies are still in that brilliant mind of yours. Telling you that you can’t do it.” Sensei spoke softly, Izuku looked up at him. “I know it is hard to believe you can do something with people wishing in your ear. I know you need to learn to have confidence in yourself, in your abilities, your mind. And to have confidence that we are telling you the truth when we say you are brilliant, you are special, and you will be greater then even I am.” Izuku teared up lightly. Sensei smiled softly. “You don’t have to do this just yet, Midoriya Izuku – my dear child. When you are ready, and confident in yourself – we’ll all be here to help you and play our parts in your master piece’s opening scene.” Izuku let himself his body fall against his sensei – relaxing into his shoulder. Sensei held him softly, making a promise to continue to protect this child – His Child – for as long as he was need.

~*~*~*~

“Tomura!” Izuku squeaked lightly as Tomura drabbed his arm and began to pulling him upstairs.

“We’re gonna game – gonna make you feel better.” Tomura grumbled, “Sensei told me what happened early – don’t work so fucking hard. Take time, do it when you feel ready.” Izuku frowned lightly. Tomura didn’t say anything else until the got to his room, and then he turned to Izuku with the softest expression he had ever seen. “You don’t need to prove anything to us – okay?”

“But-” Izuku began

“No – no buts, you never need to prove your worth to us – ever.” Tomura told him, he sighed. “My family – my grandmother was a hero, my father’s mother. But she had to give him up – and my father hated heroes since. He was abusive to my sister and I, and the day my quirk came in. I found the first Photo of my Grandmother, my sister and I agreed to be heroes. But our father found out. And he beat us. My mother and her parents just stood and watched, my mother was holding my sister back and she was sobbing. She couldn’t help me as I suffered at the hands of my father as the only parent who should have been protecting me just watched. I ended up killing them all with my quirk. I didn’t want to hurt my sister – I regret her death – but everyone else.” Tomura stopped and sighed. “I was just – relieved I could free myself from them. No one helped me after that – until Sensei found me. I-I know he killed my Grandmother, but he was the only one who helped me when I really needed it. I had to learn that – what my father did was wrong, what my family did was wrong. That everything that happened wasn’t my fault – I couldn’t control my quirk, and my father, that he deserved it.” Izuku frowned.

“I’m not as strong as you.” Izuku sighed.

“You are stronger, you have survived years in a toxic environment. I didn’t live through that as long as you have.” Tomura told him. “You are so strong; you just need to see that yourself.” Izuku teared up and Tomura just pulled him into a hug. “I’m still learning to be your big brother, but you can come to me if you need to talk – okay?” Izuku smiled softly.

“Yeah, thanks.”

~*~*~*~

Izuku wasn’t sure when the idea came to mind, but he didn’t bring it up to anyone, only asked Kurogiri to help him test a pre-plan -to which he agreed. That is what led to Izuku standing in an alley way, in tatter clothes, he had created a few cuts and drew some blood. He had to look beaten for this to work – he had used make up to create bruising, he could only hope it was working.

Izuku stared at the underground hero before him, Eraserhead, he stumbled back in shock a little. The hero stared at him, his eyes widening in shock.

“Hero-.” Izuku found himself wishing, letting a little bit of his awe for the underground hero slip in.

“Midoriya-” He began, but Izuku could feel Kurogiri’s warp manifesting below him. In a moment of sheer instinct, he reached for Eraserhead with tearful eyes, but before the hero could reach back and grab him, he fell through – screaming help for goo measure before it closed up. Leaving Eraserhead standing there in a mixture of shock, but relief that the kid was alive – he needed to talk to Tsukauchi.

Meanwhile, Izuku looked up at the ceiling, where Tomura was frowning down at him. Izuku giggled lightly.

“I think – I pulled something off.” Izuku said, sitting up. “I actually did that. I could have been caught-but I didn’t, I actually did it.” He mumbled to himself.

“Do what?” Sensei asked.

“I made myself hurt and look bruised with makeup, hid in an alleyway, with Kurogiri waiting in case someone saw me. A hero did, Eraserhead. He was always pretty cool, so kind in awe – think I actually worked in my favour. When Kuro was creating a warp I just reached for him, and he missed, he actually didn’t reach out for a second of two out of shock. Shouted help as I fell through –.” Izuku giggled. “He can tell the police what I looked like, I was alive, but captured again. I did it.”

“That was dangerous!” Tomura began.

“But you did pull off something amazing. I’m impressed Izuku.” Sensei said, Izuku giggled.

“Next, a few random phone calls of whimpering, begging for help, should get them riled up before the big entrance, right?” Izuku beamed, looking around his found family.

“Just, warn us beforehand okay. I was worried.” Tomura sighed, Izuku nodded, getting up and hugging him.

“I will, thanks Mura.” Izuku said, Tomura hugged him back lightly.
