   Summary

   "Can I be a hero without using my quirk?"
   Midoriya Izuku has a quirk. But it's one he doesn't want, one he refuses to use, for fear of hurting his mother. He hates it.
   Despite that, he still wants to be a hero.
   This is his story. A story of a boy who learns to overcome his emotional roadblocks to become a hero and learn to accept his quirk for what it is: a part of him. It's not his father's quirk, it's his own.
