So... was this, what you call 'love at first sight'?
Yoo Sijin kept grinning as the two of them headed towards the exit. It was just strange. It's not as if he never saw a pretty girl before. He saw plenty. Myeongju was one... and his late mum—well yeah—she'll always be pretty in his heart. A lot of the girls in those girl groups you see on tv are also pretty. And so were some other girls he might have passed by in the past. Yet this one...
He couldn't really describe it. But one thing he could say was... the moment he was able to look at her face properly, he could feel his heart pounding fast. It probably sounded weird to say, coming from him. That he got excited just because this pretty doctor could match up with him on a verbal argument. But he just did. Suddenly he couldn't help feeling like he wanted to keep staring at her pretty face for hours. She's just so pretty. He probably said it too many times already... but she was really, really pretty.
So pretty... that he kept wanting to get close to her. And maybe... touch her? How can someone so pretty could appear in front of him? And she was so witty too...
"Hey? Big Boss? Are you there?"
Sijin blinked as he finally noticed a hand waving itself in front of his face. He brushed the hand aside. "What?"
Daeyoung rolled his eyes at him. "Are you done? You looked as if you're still stuck in another dimension."
He grinned. "What're you talking about? I legitly needed a doctor." He made a face. "My stitches tore open during the fight!"
The other man snorted as he ushered Sijin into the car. Sijin smiled again.
"Ah, one of these days I needed to thank Lieutenant Ahn. If not because of him, I probably wouldn't get to see such a pretty doctor..."
"As if we didn't have a pretty doctor at our base."
"But that one is YOUR pretty doctor. I want my own!"
Daeyoung laughed at him before starting the car. The car smoothly glided out towards the exit. The man turned his head towards him. "So you're saying, you're happy to get hurt?"
Sijin just showed his friend a wide grin. "Yes indeed."
