Summary
Castiel Novak has a secret.
In an world full of ordinary people, he was extraordinary. Born with a pair of wings attached to his back, he set out to fight crime as a superhero called The Angel, where he meets a vigilante known as the Demon, his nemesis with a knack for flirting. Soon, parts of his city began to be attacked by a supervillain only known as Diablo.

People kept walking out on Matt until Matt decided to walk out on them first. Not the most sophisticated strategy, but it worked. It worked for years, from middle-school all the way to undergrad.

Summary
“What are you looking for?” Foggy had asked Matt, when they were young and drunk and ready to graduate law school and enter the real world. Together, of course. Matt couldn’t picture his future without Foggy, even then.
“I don't know. I guess just someone I really like listening to,” Matt had told him. Back then, he thought he wanted to find someone whose voice he loved as much as he loved Foggy’s. Now…he just wants Foggy.
(5 times Matt liked listening to Foggy’s voice + 1 time Matt shut him up.)

Summary
One of the two twin beds was taken, its occupant laid flat on his stomach, a laptop with a whirring fan in front of them. Matt could instantly tell it was a man, thanks to the testosterone and faint B.O. Interestingly, the sound of long, silky hair shifted as the man turned his head.
“Hey! You must be my roomie!”
Awkwardness had ensued, the least of which being an aborted attempt at flirting. Matt had tried hard not to wince at how fast his roommate, Foggy’s, heart had sped up.
First impressions were not great.
