    Spider-Man gets in way over his head with a seriously creepy villain and Deadpool saves the day. Starts with some scary things happening (and almost happening) to Spider-Man and ends with lots of fluff and snark.

    And for the first time since he’d started the fight tonight, Peter’s senses were blessedly, beautifully quiet.

    So he couldn’t really get worked up when Deadpool squatted down in front of him, swords still out. Didn’t even flinch when the guy reached out to poke at one of his many wounds.

    And for the rest of his life Peter Parker would remember the first words spoken to him by Deadpool/Wade Winston Wilson.

    “Shut up! I can see he’s a mess, morons.”
