Work Text:
This was probably the coldest winter Kamurocho had faced yet. Everyone in the district sure as hell felt it since they were all wearing probably the heaviest coats available in stores. Majima sure as hell could feel it too, especially since he didn’t own a proper coat or warm shirt. So he was stuck in his apartment, the heater was broken, not gonna be fixed until tomorrow, and he was struggling to stay warm under the blanket. All he had to wear was some old t-shirt and pair of sweats he bought at a pawn shop on a whim. Sure, he could go out and buy some warm clothes and a heavy blanket, but that was too much work. And he would freeze his ass off going out in the cold.
He could call some of his men to bring him something, but he sure as hell didn’t want them to know where he lived. That would just be a little too much for Majima’s tastes. Plus, he once exclaimed to many of them how much the cold didn’t bother him. He was definitely paying for that lie now. He shivered under his blanket at even the thought of the cold, and his TV couldn’t distract him all that well either.
There was only one thing left to do. “Time to call Kiryu-chan!” Majima exclaimed in relief and glee. He grabbed his phone off the table in front of him and dialed his number. The phone rang for only a few moments before the other man picked up.
“Hello?” He asked, clearly unaware of who was on the other line.
“Heya there, Kiryu-chan!” Majima replied in delight, hearing the other man sigh at the sound of his voice.
“What is it, Majima-san?” He asked, clearly expecting another one of Majima’s little stints.
“Well, it's pretty cold out, y’know? And I don’t really have anything warm in my lil' ol' closet, so I was wonderin’ if ya had anythin’ I could borrow. Y’know, like a shirt or thick blanket would be real sweet o’ ya!” Majima asked, and Kiryu could practically hear the puppy dog eyes over the phone. He heard a confused noise from the other end of the line.
“Why don’t you just ask one of your men?” He questioned, obviously wary of anything Majima tried to get him to do.
“Well, you see, about that… I may or may not have said that ‘the cold don't bother me’ to them at one point, and I get the feelin’ that’s spread around. So I don’t need none-a my boys thinkin’ I’m weak!” Majima reasoned. He heard a low hum from the other, and he was worried that the man didn’t believe him.
“Really? You’re ridiculous, you know that?” Kiryu groaned, fed up with Majima’s strange antics. “You know this won’t get me to fight you, right?”
“This ain’t about a fight! I swear on my heart!” Majima pleaded. “Please just bring me somethin’! I’m dyin’ of hypothermia over here!” He continued his whining, hoping Kiryu would just believe him. He heard yet another sigh.
“Fine, where are you?” Majima cackled with glee, a grin spread across his face as he spoke.
“I’ll text ya the address! See ya soon~!” Then he hung up, not giving Kiryu time to try and protest, or change his mind.

It was only an hour later that he heard a heavy knocking on his door. His head shot up from its slouched position, his excitement was evident. If it was somehow actually one of his goons at the door, he was probably going to smash the poor guy’s head in with his bat. He kept his thin blanket wrapped around his shoulders as he skipped to the door. “Who is it~?” He cooed, waiting for a reply, practically bouncing in pure delight.
“It’s Kiryu.” Came the gruff reply he was anticipating.
“Welp, come on in!” Majima exclaimed as he swung open the door. Kiryu was waiting on the other side, a large bag in one hand, and an average sized one in the other. “Ya got what I asked for?” Majima asked, gesturing for him to come in.
“I’m not here to visit, just here to leave this with you,” Kiryu replied. Majima noticed he was wearing a relatively thick coat instead of his signature gray jacket. He then tried to hand the man the two bags, but Majima wasn’t going to have it. He wanted Kiryu to stay for a while, and maybe watch some TV with him. He pouted his lips and gave the man the best puppy dog eyes he could muster. Kiryu furrowed his brows in response, obviously unsure if he should trust the man. “Your hands look a little full there.” He commented, toeing off his shoes. Majima grinned, and lead the man to his living room. Majima was still clutching his blanket close to himself and tilted his head in the direction of the couch to tell Kiryu to sit. The man obliged, albeit very hesitantly.
“Welp, let’s see what ya got!” Majima sat down on the couch right next to him, making sure to sit very closely next to Kiryu. The man made no move to scooch away from Majima, much to his delight. Kiryu pulled out a jacket that was a size or two too big for Majima from the smaller bag. “Eh? Why’d ya get one so big?” He questioned, finally bringing his hands away from his trusty blanket. It wasn’t doing much to keep him warm anyway.
“I don’t have much cash, so I just grabbed one of mine. It’s the only other one I had, I’m sorry,” Kiryu replied, actually looking a little guilty. Majima’s eye widened to the size of a dinner plate, and his grin fell into an ‘o’ shape. Wasn’t there a term for this kind of thing nowadays? Majima couldn’t help but try to remember the name.
“Boyfriend jacket…” He whispered to himself, and Kiryu shot him a confused look.
“What was that?” He asked, seemingly not having heard the man. Majima’s face flushed slightly, realizing the man was actually willing to let him wear his clothes. “If… you don’t want it-” Kiryu began, sounding somewhat hurt.
“No! I do! I really- I really do want it!” Majima panicked, throwing his hands up in the air, the blanket completely falling off his shoulders. Kiryu shot him a strange look but handed him the jacket.
“You’re shivering,” He commented, looking at Majima’s trembling hands. “I also brought a shirt of mine, since I assumed you didn’t own any at all.”
“I told ya, I was cold! And why the hell wouldn’t I have at least one shirt?” He whined, grabbing the jacket and shirt. He quickly pulled off the thin t-shirt he was wearing and quickly pulled it off. Kiryu’s eyes went straight down to his stomach and chest, marveling in the hard muscle there. Before he threw the jacket on he paused. “I ain’t wearin' that dingy ol’ shirt. It’s got a bunch of stains.” He reasoned, he totally didn’t take the shirt off to catch Kiryu’s attention. Nope. Not at all. He pulled the shirt over his head, noticing how big it was on him. It practically hung off his shoulders. Majima shrugged and put the jacket on, zipping it up.
“Ahhh~ So much better!” Majima spoke, hugging himself in the jacket. He finally got a good look at Kiryu’s face again and noticed how red it was. He decided not to acknowledge his obvious ogling.
“I’m glad I could help. Here, I also brought this,” Kiryu pulled a thick blanket out of the larger bag. It looked brand new. “I bought it for winter, but Sere- the place I’m staying at is warm enough.” He explained. Majima noticed how he cut himself off like the man didn’t already know he was staying at that little bar.
“You’re so sweet~!” Majima cooed, hugging the blanket close. Kiryu scoffed but stayed silent
“Well, I’d best be going now.” Kiryu moved to get up, but Majima was quicker than that. He stood up, dropping the blanket, and practically jumped onto the man to stop him. He ended up knocking him over, and Kiryu landed on the couch with a grunt, Majima following right after, landing in his lap. He was straddling the man, their faces a little to close. It felt like a scene from some cheesy romance show.
“I- Majima-san?!” Kiryu sputtered out, his face ridiculously red. Majima was more than flustered himself but still smirked, despite the blush dusting his cheeks.
“Why don’tcha stay for a while? Eh?” Majima cooed, leaning even closer to the man. “I saw the way ya looked at me earlier when I was changin’ shirts~!” He added, just to embarrass the man even more. It sure as hell worked, judging from the mortified look on Kiryu’s face.
“I-uh, Majima-san, I-I what?” Kiryu was still unable to properly answer the man. Majima couldn’t help but cackle at him amazed that the man was this flustered.
“What I mean is… hows about you stay here, keep me company for a while, and help me keep warm?” Majima teased, rubbing circles into the man’s chest with his index finger. Maybe he could convince Kiryu to cuddle with him under the blanket, and maybe even act upon those other feelings that arose during their fights.
“How… How would I do that?” Kiryu questioned, still keeping his hands off of Majima. The older man huffed and grabbed the blanket he had dropped onto the floor.
“We share the blanket, and watch some TV? How’s that sound, eh?” Majima urged him on, holding the thick covering between them. Kiryu’s eyes flickered between him, the blanket, and the TV in front of them. He was obviously having a debate with himself in his head.
“Why is that… necessary?”
“C’mon~ Live a little! Cuddle with lil ol Majima!” The man insisted, becoming impatient. Kiryu sighed for what may have been the hundredth time that night. He nodded nonetheless, taking the blanket from Majima’s hands. The man grinned wildly, filled with pure glee that Kiryu had finally relented. He hopped off the man and motioned for the man to sit down on the floor with him. Kiryu complied, and Majima unfolded the blanket to drape it over Kiryu’s broad shoulders. He then sat back down in the man’s lap, his back to Kiryu’s chest. “You’re really comfy, y’know that?” Majima commented, wrapping the large covering around the both of them.
“How so?” Kiryu responded, bringing his arms to encircle the man’s thin waist.
“Your tits are soft! Jus’ like a girl’s!” He joked but found it to be true when he placed his head down on his chest. They actually were surprisingly soft. Majima could practically feel the heat coming off the man.
“Hey, Majima-san,” Kiryu began. Majima sat up properly and turned his head to look at Kiryu, but froze when he felt lips press a small kiss to his own. He sat there stunned for a minute before realizing what the man had done.
Majima smiled, and it wasn’t one of his manic ones either. It was something much softer, something only Kiryu would get to see. “Thanks, Kiryu-chan~!” He exclaimed, moving back into a more comfortable position. Kiryu buried his face in the man’s hair.
“You should invite me over more often,” Kiryu mumbled, but Majima didn’t know how to reply at first. He didn’t expect the man to be this forward.
“You bet your ass I will!”
