You were in the middle of a forest, an abandoned hiking trail that followed a lake. All Might was with you- well, he was a few yards ahead of you, looking for something. He must have found it, jogging back to you, quickly scooping you in his arms before jogging back.
"Can't believe it's still here!"
A clearing from the trees, a large smooth boulder that sat next to the lake. The mid-afternoon sun was blocked by large trees, the mountains in view. All Might put you down, an arm around your shoulder as you two stood there, admiring Kamikochi.
"Wow." it's all you can say.
All Might beams, before sitting down on the rock, taking off his backpack, pulling out lunch. The leaves were just starting to turn colors, bits of orange and yellow in the green canopy. You still stood there, amazed at the sight in front of you.
"This is... this is incredible."
All Might looks up, sees the look on your face. The two of you had been hiking all morning, and it showed. But to see you in awe, the way your hands came up to your chest. Child-like wonder. His heart skips a beat as he watches you.
"... Yea. Yea, it is."
You turn back, see that he's not staring at the scenery. Usually you would blush, or say some quick remark. But something stops you. You give him a small smile, only for his own to get wider. You two eat lunch, you leaning on him as you take in the sight. The lake is littered with autumn leaves, the sound of the streams feeding into the lake vastly different than the city.
"...Thank you."
It's soft, you'd never have heard it in the city. You take his hand and intertwine your fingers with his own. A soft kiss to the side of his cheek. He leans his head on top of yours, had yet to stop smiling.
"I'm just glad you got some time off for this."
"I- I guess I do keep rather busy?"
"Hmm. A bit. I don't mind."
"... Thank you, my dear."
He presses a quick kiss to your temple, enjoying the view with you. It’s quiet, calm. A part of your mind wanders, content to sit here next to the hero… but something was starting to bug you.
"Just one question, though."
"What is it?"
"How did you find this place?"
"Oh! There was a landslide here in April."
"..."
"Is something wrong?"
