The Boy with a Dragon Tattoo

Summary:

Kirishima Katsuki is a model who keeps personal and business life separate. His husband never caught on. this means that Katsuki and his modeling persona are being put against each other in the public eye for who's going to be with Kirishima.
This is very annoying to Katsuki.

Notes:

This was an idea given to me by an anonymous person on my Tumblr account.
I spent a total of 2 hours writing this.

(See the end of the work for more notes.)

Work Text:

While Katsuki may be a famous supermodel and rising actor, but he sure as hell doesn’t flaunt it like his olympic judo gold medalist husband Kirishima Eijirou.

Katsuki is not the type of guy who tries to attract the public’s attention, he would much rather have planned meeting times and times where he can be alone. Alas, his husband isn’t so subtle.

Today Katsuki was wearing a black sleeveless tee with an orange X across his chest, he also had a pair of black cargo pants. The outfit put his tattoo on full display. It was an image of Eijirou’s silhouette while he competed in judo, his long hair spiked up in that ridiculous way, and it was encircled by a red traditional looking dragon. The whole thing took up most of his upper arm, and it was really the biggest part of Katsuki’s problem with EIjirou being so public.

If you were to look at any photo of GroundZero (Katsuki’s modeling persona), they would not have that tattoo. It was a personal choice, a way he keeps his personal and business life separate. That part worked very well.

If only Eijirou would catch on.

The two were walking through the park near their house, enjoying the scenery and having delightful small talk when they were brutally interrupted.

“You!” called a random girl from behind them. “You need to get away from Kirishima now!”

Yeah, GroundZero and Eijirou fan bases just don’t like Katsuki. And judging by what the girl was wearing, a RedRiot jacket and a GroundZero beanie, she belonged to both groups. And she really didn’t like the blonde.

“Which Kirishima? Because, there are two Kirishima’s here.” joked Eijirou, trying his best to keep the situation from getting worse.

The girl ignored Eijirou and stared down Katsuki in all her angry 150 centimeter glory. She was probably 14 and she had two friends behind her, giving the whole thing a Mean Girl-esque feel. “You have some nerve standing in the way of GroundZero.” Oh, she was one of those hard-core shippers. “Do everyone a favor and just let Red Riot divorce you already.”

This really pissed off Katsuki. Why couldn’t these people look past the tattoos and lack of makeup and see that he was the guy they were all trying to get his husband with. The biggest difference besides the tattoo was the overall definition the makeup gives him. Hell, sometimes he doesn’t wear any makeup but the tattoo concealer when he goes to see the public.

Sensing his husbands anger, Eijirou stepped in again. “Woah, little lady, them’s fighin’ words. Contrary to popular hopes, I really truly and thoroughly love my husband and would not give him up for anything. GroundZero is a great guy, but my Kat here is where my heart lies.” To emphasize his point, Eijirou gave Katsuki a little peck on the nose and pinched his cheek.

The girl looked absolutely furious. Her friends also seemed to share the sentiment. “You are absolutely ridiculous! Everyone knows that you love GroundZero! We see how you look at him. You should really do what’s better for everyone and marry the guy.”

Katsuki was just about done with all this bullshit. He escaped Ei’s grasp and knelt down in front of the girl, getting his 185 cm height down to the girls level. “Eijirou, you go on ahead, I’ll meet you back at the house or I’ll catch up.” The redhead nodded and left. Katsuki turned back to the girl and said, “I have a question for you, what is GroundZero’s real name.”

The girl froze, opened and closed her mouth like a fish, but couldn’t come up with an answer.

“Exactly. My husband loves honest, hardworking, manly people. Your precious GroundZero only fills out 2 of those. Sadly for you all, that model isn’t honest about himself to people. I myself am very honest. I may keep business and personal life separate, but I am honest about my personal life. I am honest about the fact that my name is Kirishima Katsuki and I love my husband, so I will never give him up, no matter how much little children like you three may try. Call me names, threaten me, whatever, but just think about whether your GroundZero would be happy about your actions.”

Katsuki rose and walked away. Behind him he heard the girls chattering furiously like squirrels who lost their nuts. Before he got too far away though, he decided to throw them a bone.

He turned, whistled quick and sharp, angled his body and posed in his signature way, using his hand to cover up what was left of the tattoo. He also used his trademark facial expression. After holding it for 5 seconds he continued on his merry way. The girls gasping and losing their mind, realising they just told their ship to break up.

As he walked, his phone started to ring. When he answered he was greeted by a familiar voice, “Hey, Kacchan!”

“Sup, Deku?”

“My friend Denki, you remember him right? Well, he was talking about how he wants to do an interview with him, but you always say no. I think you meet with him for an interview, maybe to talk about that tour you were taking for your modeling work, or your movie?”

“I’ll see what I can do. I have to go now though. Tell Aunt Inko hello for me and give her a hug. Bye, Nerd.”

“Bye

Katsuki chuckled to himself when he ended the call. “You remember him, right? ” Of fucking course he remembered Denki. They are still friends and see each other way too often. The reason he never does interviews with Denki, or Mina for that matter, is the whole line between business and personal!

“You know what?” Katsuki muttered to himself, “It’s time to blur that fucking line.”

20 minutes later Katsuki got home and entered his very nice, very large property. It was a little known fact that the couple always had guests in the form of their parents. Of course, the Kirishima and Bakugou parents lived in two other buildings on the 15 acre property.

“Babe, why did I just get a call from Denki saying that you just agreed to give him an interview on his show?”

Word travels very fast.

Katsuki left his shoes by the door and strolled over to his husband in the kitchen. “I thought it was time to give people a look into the real GroundZero.

The smile Eijirou gave him was breathtaking.

“Babe! That’s so amazing!!” said the younger man as he bounced around giddily. “When’s the interview?”

“Tomorrow night. He had an opening since one of his guests cancelled and it gives him a chance to announce it.”

The two smiled at each other for a few moments.

Katsuki grabbed Eijirou’s hand and lead them through the house and toward their bedroom as he said, “Come and help me figure out what to wear.”

The next night Katsuki sat in his dressing room for Denki’s show. In the top corner of the room was a screen showing what was happening on stage so that Katsuki would know what was going on. Right now Denki was giving his opening monolauge, talking about whatever was going on in the world today. The blonde had about 5 minutes before he needed to leave to go on stage, but before he left he did a double check. His tattoo was covered perfectly by his concealer, he decided to not wear any other makeup. Today he was not going on as just GroundZero, but as himself.

A stagehand knocked on his door, announcing that it was time to go. Katsuki got up, and left the room.

As he walked down the hallway, his red pants flowed around him. He was wearing a pair of pants that looked more like a skirt when his legs and a sleeveless black vest. If 15 year old Bakugou could have seen him now he would have died from shock and embarrassment. Now though Katsuki was fine with wearing pretty much anything.

In the wings, Denki’s voice reverberated around them. “... I would like to introduce, for the first time on the show, my good friend GroundZero!”

There was near defening screams as Katsuki made his way to his seat, stopping to pose at the audience then waving at them as he sat down.

“Well, well, well. GroundZero, I thought I was going to have to beg you to come to my show.” Denki said with a smile.

Katsuki rolled his eyes, “You did beg.”

The audience laughed. Denki feigned offence. “You wound me, good sir.”

Chuckling, Denki said, “In all seriousness, I believe I recognise that outfit. Care to give my mind a jog?”

“Wow, you really are dense. This is a replica of what I wore to my wedding. Though, the pants are red now.” Katsuki huffed.

The audience gasped.

Denki gave a smile like he always did before making trouble. “Oh, you mean the one where I was best man?”

“Yes, the one where you were my husband’s best man. Deku was mine.”

“I think we may have a picture of that. It was what, 3 years ago?” asked Denki.

Katsuki nodded, “In exactly one month it will have been three years. And wait, what pictures are you showing? It better not be the one I am thinking of.”

“Oh it’s not.” Denki slapped his shoulder playfully. “Jake, mind displaying the image?”

One second, the screens around them were black, the next, it was filled with a picture of Katsuki and Eijirou at the alter outside. It was in a park that was filled with blooming cherry blossoms and everyone was dressed for the occasion. Deku and Denki were also in the picture, smiling widely at the scene.

The audience went berzerk when they saw who the large tattoo on his arm and Eijirou’s hand in his.

“Man, Eijirou was so adorable then. He would not stop crying.” said Katsuki.

Denki laughed, “It’s not everyday a guy gets married to the man of his dreams, Katsuki. I mean, Eijirou went on and on about how much he wanted to marry you when you guys started dating in high school. Wow, we are so old. You two have been together for 7 years.”

“Yep. Married right out of high school, huh, Babe?” Eijirou said as he walked out on stage.

“Hey, Ei!” shouted Denki in surprise.

Katsuki got out of his seat, walked up to Eijirou and kissed him. There were wolf whistles from the audience. Coming back to sit down, Katsuki let Eijirou sit first then sat on his lap.

“You know what?” Katsuki said. “This makeup is very dense. One second.” Katsuki was lying, but he still reached for a packet in Eijirou’s jacket pocket, took out one of the makeup wipes, and removed the concealor on his arm. The shock from the audience was near palpable. “Yeah, I have a tattoo. I got it on my 18th birthday in honor of my then fiance, now husband.”

The three friends talked for another 15 minutes before they had to leave so the other guest could come out.

When they got off stage, Katsuki checked the news on his phone and laughed at the headline.
