Wei Ying is a god. This, he believes, is not as big of a deal as people make it out to be.
This is what he also believes:
Small towns are small blessings. An army of children is more powerful than any divine council. The bakery downtown sells the best egg sandwiches on this side of existence. Prayers are best answered in person. Death is only the end if you piss off Izanami. It's fine if he keeps his head down forever, because nobody's going to miss him anyway.
Finding out which one of the above is false, Wei Ying decides, is too much of a hassle to bother with.
