After the Giant War, all that Percy really wants is a little peace. Everyone keeps pampering him, because he has been through Tartarus after being abducted and held captive for months by Hera and then the war itself. He's had enough.
So he takes a time-out. He leaves with a backpack and Blackjack to explore Europe.
Who he doesn't expect to meet in Europe is Alabaster, the son of Hecate. As it turns out, Alabaster had managed to save Ethan's life during the Titan War with the help of magic and now Alabaster is looking everywhere to find Ethan (he kinda misplaced his boyfriend; it happens, okay?). Percy feels a spark of hope rise at that. He had watched so many friends die in both wars, had lost so many and the chance that even one supposedly dead friend could still be alive. Well, let's just say Percy offers his help to Alabaster and things develop into a completely different way from there on out.
