Chapter Text

Howard Stark was a successful business man. He owned the most powerful weapons manufacturer in the entire world! He was viewed as a kind man to the public, and to his wife but his true colours showed when he had his son, Tony Edward Stark.

He was never ment to have a son. It was an accident. One night it turned out his wife Maria was pregnant with a baby boy, and Howard was furious. The baby boy was born in the 29th of May and was named Tony Edward Stark. The media didn't know as Maria ad begged Howard to keep it a secret for her sons sake.

Howard was a changed man. He hired a butler, Jarvis to take care of little Tony. Howard began drinking and would often get angry. Usually Tony would cry, like all babies do, if he got hurt or something and Howard would then scream at him. Maria was spending more and more time out of the house and began using drugs. Little Tony was mainly bought up by Jarivs.

Jarvis was kind do Tony. He would do anything for the little boy and would run away with him if he could.

Tony was different to his father.

Howard had hated him from birth, but as he got older the more the elder stark despised Tony. It started with Tony's first word. It happend like this. Tony was with Jarvis and he said 'J-j-jarvis!'.  He was 1 year old and Jarvis immediately told Howard. When Tony repeated it Howard, he yelled 'STARKS DON'T STUTTER!' at the poor boy.

At 3 years old, Tony was speaking properly but still stuttered. Howard told Jarvis to take him to a doctor to see if there was 'anything else wrong with this pathetic excuse for a Stark'. So Jarvis took Tony to the Doctor. The doctor was called Dr.Mike and was very kind. Dr.Mike started off by checking Tony's bones and they were all fine!

Then things went down hill. Tony's eyes were checked next and it turned out he had very poor eyesight and would need glasses. Tony began to cry as he was worried of what his dad would think. He already stutterred and didn't want anything else for Howard to make fun of or to beat him up.

Next, Dr.Mike checked his breathing, Tony had asthma. Then he was checked for allergies. Tony was allergic to certain types of medication, nuts, wheat and uncooked egg. Then Tony was checked for any other medical conditions and was fine, much to his relief. Then Dr.Mike checked to see if he had any learning difficulties. Tony was then diagnosed with ADHD and had a form of dislexia which meant he was bad a spelling. Boy was Howard going to be mad.

It was when Tony came home that day Howard began to despise Tony. 'Sir, after the trip to the doctor, young sir was diagnosed with asthma, ADHD,  a form of dislexia which meant he was bad a spelling, he needs glasses, a stutter and he has allergies to certain types of medicines, nuts, uncooked egg and wheat. Howard was fuming with rage. 'HOW DID I PRODUCE SUCH A FUCK UP! YOU TONY EDWARD STARK ARE A DISSAPOINTMENT AND DISGRACE TO THE STARK NAME!'

Tony had been thinking of how to make a flying remote control car but he couldn't had Howard didn't let him have any toys. Then when Jarvis told him he was going to day care he got excited as there would be toys there. So tony stole some materials from Howard's workshop.

The day came for him to do to daycare, but he was scared.
'J-j-jarvis I don't wa-want to g-g-o' Tony said
'Why? You have been so excited?' replied Jarvis
'W-w-what if the oth-oth-other kids d-d-don't like me?' Said young Tony
'I'm sure they won't. Your kind, funny and smart!'
'Th-thanks Jarvis! You-you're the best!' Tony said, his spirits being lifted.

Jarvis made Tony his breakfast and then began to get his lunch ready. It was then time to go. Jarvis walked Tony down and Jarvis would be posing as Tony's father. They would still use Tony's proper name and say he wasn't related to Howard Stark.

The teacher was very nice. Jarvis gave Tony his lunch and then had to leave.
'What's you're name, young man?' asked the teacher in a kind voice.
'T-t-tony' stuttered tony nervously
'you can go to Ms.Lillians class. There are lots of toys there and you can make some friends! Ms Lillan is very nice.'
The kind teacher walked Tony down to the classroom and then said goodbye to him. Ms Lillan then asked him for his name and to introduce himself to the class.
' M-m-my n-n-name is T-t-tony E-e-Edward S-s-stark a-a-and I want t-to be an I-I-inventor w-w-when I g-g-grow up!' said Tony quietly
'Speak up. I don't tolerate stuttering in my classroom.'
'B-b-but I c-c-cant help it.'
'Fine. And are you related to Howard Stark?'
'No'
'Go play wherever you like now.'

Tony ran of towards the lego and started building a car. He knew exactly what to build inside it. It was a vibrant mix of colours and halfway through tony began to assamble the engine onto the car. It was breaktime once he had made the car. He just had to make the controler now.

At break, the teachers gave out apple slices and water. They then gave a little talk on how bread was made, but Tony already knew it was due to anaerobic resperation, but he didn't say. Then they had more time to play so tony ran back to the Lego.

He made the remote control fairly quickly and now it was time to test the car! He turned it on and it worked! By then 2 big kids came over and asked him where he got the car.
'I-I-I m-m-made it' said Tony
'Well we want to play with it' said one of the big kids.
'No. Y-y-you can't p-p-play with it' replied Tony confidentiality.
The kids then proceeded to punch Tony multiple times. Tony began to cry as it hurt. But when a teacher approached them, the bullies ran away and Tony hid the car in his bag. The teacher then walked away.

Tony spent the rest of his day hiding, not wanting to get beaten up again

He first showed Jarvis when he was picked up, Jarivs was amazed that such a small child could create such and amazing invention.

'Master Tony, how did you make this?:

' W-w-well I h-h-ad been t-t-thinking about this b-b-but I didn't have the p-p-parts. I then n-n-oticed the t-t-toys had the p-p-parts and t-t-ook them a-a-apart for the p-p-pices I n-n-needed!' a very excited a 3 year old said. He was sure that his father would be impressed and immediately rushed to show him.'

'D-d-ad, dad l-l-look! I made t-t-this in day care. M-m-aybe you c-c-could sell these a-a-at Stark i-i-industries! -'

'SHUT UP TONY, I'M WORKING! HAVE SOME RESPECT YOU LITTLE SHIT!'

Howard then got up from his desk and grabbed the toy from Tony

'IS THIS WHAT YOU MADE? BECAUSE IF IT IS ITS FUCKING USELESS!'
Tony nodded, tears started forming in his eyes.
'ARE YOU CRYING?' screamed Howard
Howard then smashed Tony's creation on the floor
'STARKS(slap) DON' T(slap) MAKE (slap) USLESS (slap) PISCES (slap) OF (slap) SHIT(slap)! YOU (slap) ARE (slap) A FUCKING (slap) IDIOT(slap). WHAT (slap) WAS (slap) GOING (slap) THROUGH (slap) YOUR (slap) DULL HEAD! 'Howard screamed.
Tony was now crying in pain and Howard proceeded to punch him in the stomach.
' STARK MEN DON'T CRY. STRAK MEN ARE MADE OF IRON'
Howard proceed to punch, kick and slap him until Jarvis came and saw and took Tony away. Jarvis gathered up the remains of the car and took Tony to his room.
'Would you like to tell me what happend Master Tony?' asked jarvis.
'I t-t-tried to s-s-show d-d-dad m-m-my I-U-invention, b-b-but he g-g-got m-m-mad.'Tony replied his voice shaking with tears beginung to fall. Jarvis gave Tony a big hug and told him that things would be fine
