Chapter Text
Deku woke up on the couch, where he’d apparently fallen asleep last night. He’d been up late with the League of Villains. Yeah. He knew how that sounded, but it was true. He’d been told he was their prisoner when Shigaraki had kidnapped him yesterday and now, he was exhausted because Twice and Toga had suggested they all play Smash last night, including Izuku.
It had been Twice, Dabi, Toga, Izuku sitting around the Villain bar place where their couch and television were until probably way past midnight. Last he remembered any of them looking at a clock, it’d been about two in the morning. It’d been a strange kind of fun? Was it wrong to have kind of fun with the League of Villains? What would All Might and his mom think if they ever found out the truth?
Izuku rubbed his eyes sleepily, noticing he was now covered with a big, warm blanket that he most certainly did not have on him when he’d been playing the games. He made a face before hearing Toga and Twice talking to Kurogiri it seemed a room away.
He shifted to stand up and walk into the other room which the bar and saw Twice and Toga wave happily at him. Izuku felt entirely weird, but he smiled sleepily back at them and waved.
“Well, good morning, prisoner,” Twice greeted jokingly and Toga chuckled at him.
“What he said. Did you sleep alright on that lumpy couch? I think we saw Shigaraki come and put that blanket on you,” Toga added with a smirk. She definitely thought maybe their master had some odd fascination with Izuku. She understood why now, too. They all did, beside Dabi maybe, but he’d still even laughed at some of Izuku’s playful words last night while they’d all played video games.
Izuku made a face and felt his face tinting slightly. He gazed downward a little bit as he tried to reason as to why the leader of the League of Villains would have covered him with a blanket. The only interactions that he’d had with Shigaraki was sitting beside him while they played games. The silver-haired boy hadn’t actually played the games. He claimed then that he had to make sure their ‘prisoner’ didn’t escape.
Izuku blushed rapidly now as he remembered the last time he’d seen Shigaraki last night. He’d been innocently trying to find a bathroom the villains had given him directions to earlier in the day when he accidentally peered through an already cracked door. What he saw when he’d peered inside was shirtless Shigaraki and a kitten in his room? Shigaraki was definitely toned and rather attractive. He’d already found the silver-haired boy to be kind of cute, but yesterday had taken that so much further.
Out of seemingly nowhere, Shigaraki appeared beside the group, his already messy hair even messier right after waking up, so it seemed. Izuku looked up at him along with everyone else. Shigaraki looked to him.
“Morning, prisoner. Do you like pancakes? Eggs?” Shigaraki spoke softly, gazing over at Izuku with his usually piercing, red eyes before rubbing them sleepily. Izuku couldn’t help but smile a bit at that. It was a little bit adorable. Yes, Izuku thought the villain was cute. He blushed as his own green eyes held his gaze.
“G-good morning. Both are good…” Izuku responded, unsure as to why all of his captors had been so nice to him? Maybe they wanted to try to convert him to their side, but nothing of that sort had even been mentioned. No way all villains were this nice, though. Shigaraki nodded before gazing to the other villains.
“What?” he asked with a sleepy and irritated face.
“You never make us breakfast! Why does the hero in training get special treatment?” Dabi told him offendedly.
“It’s obviously because our master wants to impress Izuku, our hero friend for the time being,” Toga explained and Shigaraki just shook his head from side to side before walking to the kitchen. He was starving. Izuku was blushing now at that statement Toga had made. He looked down a minute, a little flustered at that. Toga was probably crazy and didn’t know what she was saying, right? Toga giggled over at Izuku. “You’re kind of cute when you’re all flustered like that.”
After a bit, they’d all sat down, Izuku, too. They sat and waited for the breakfast of champions. It smelled so good, too. Izuku definitely couldn’t cook. His mom could, but not him. He’d always made a big mess in the kitchen when he got the chance to cook. He knew many people in his class could cook way better than him, Kacchan, Todoroki, Uraraka, etc.
“I’m still butthurt that I didn’t even know he could cook. It smells like heaven in there and this is the first we’ve had his cooking?” Dabi was still whining about the situation along with Twice now. They’d been going back and forth forever now and then finally Shigaraki appeared beside Izuku this time, adorned in a blue, plaid apron with weird ruffles.
“It’s ready when you guys are,” he mumbled before standing at the door and waiting for them to get food. Everyone practically sprinted to the kitchen to get their plates filled with food. Once they were all in the kitchen busy, Shigaraki suddenly was leaning close to Izuku, hand holding himself up from his position leaning on the doorway beside Izuku. The freckled boy blushed intensely, making a tiny noise in his throat as he couldn’t even look up at the other handsome boy. Izuku couldn’t help but look over at Shigaraki, who was already gazing at him with a tiny smirk. “Hope it’s good enough for our hero.”
“Oh. I-I’m sure it is. Thank you…” Izuku responded softly. Shigaraki was joking with Izuku? That was off was strangely nice. The green-haired boy bit his lip and chuckled a bit.
“Well? Are you going to go get your food, Izuku?” Shigaraki hummed, still all too close for Izuku to be okay. He felt hot all over somehow. He bit his lip up at Shigaraki. He acted like he wasn’t almost on top of Izuku.
“I- I was going to let you get yours f-first since you were nice enough to cook for us-“ Izuku stuttered, looking down with wide eyes. After a minute, four of Shigaraki’s fingers came up to gently lift the other’s chin to look st him again. He cocked a brow and gave him a curious look.
“I insist. You first,” Shigaraki said again quietly and still so very close. Why did Izuku have the sudden feeling he wanted him even closer?
“I, uh, o-okay-“ he stuttered again, face red as he pulled away shakily and hotly. He blinked out of the dream state he’d went into before practically scampering to the kitchen to get a plate of food. Once he got his plate, he avoided looking at Shigaraki as he walked out to join the gang of villains in the living area. Toga smirked at him.
Eventually, everyone finished their plates. They’d spent a bit of time just chatting while eating and praising the food. Izuku went to go put his and the others’ dishes in the sink before deciding to start washing all of the dishes. He’d made it about halfway through the dishes before he felt and saw a familiar arm go on the counter, pinning him again to where he was. He felt a hot breath way too close to his ear. He shivered and bit his lip, blushing deeply. He couldn’t find the will in him to move away from the other body.
“Mm, just what are you doing, prisoner? Look at me, won’t you?” he heard that way too familiar deep voice beside his ear. He did just that, still horrendously flustered.
“I’m.. doing your dishes..? I-is that not o-okay?” Izuku managed to choke out, suddenly very unable to breathe. Shigaraki gave him another of his curious looks like he was questioning life most intriguing questions. Then, he chuckled ever so slightly.
“I suppose we can tolerate this, but only because I abhor doing dishes. Maybe I should keep you around,” he teased gently with a smirk down at Izuku. He was kind of… cute..? It was at that exact moment that Izuku remembered what Toga had said about Shigaraki putting that blanket on him last night. “Did you sleep alright?”
“Oh, y-yeah. Thanks- you?” Izuku spluttered at him and gazed down again.
“I slept decently. You know, once someone stopped ogling me last night,” he added with a bit of a playful look at Izuku. The younger boy blushed at that and looked up to him, shaking his head.
“I wasn’t- your d-door was open and you were- well, you know-“ Izuku said shyly looking down once more.
“Nonetheless, we’d better return you before All Might comes for you,” he told the younger, who felt more sad and disappointed than excited. Maybe it was because no one here constantly bullied him? Not in a mean consistent way? They were all nice and maybe more considerate than most of the people he lived with at the dorms. He sighed a bit, not meaning to do it out loud for Shigaraki to hear, but failing. The older gave him a quizzical look. “What, disappointed to leave us villains?” “I just- do I have to go home...?” Izuku asked quietly. Shigaraki chuckled a bit. “For now, yeah. Guess we’ll have to kidnap you again someday.” Shigaraki said. After that, Shigaraki told the league what was going on and they all said goodbye to their hero in training. Toga even hugged him. Then, Kurogiri sent him through a portal to a place about a block from his school and then he finally had to go home and explain a fake story to make up for this day he’d been missing.
