I drew the one with Jake Coolice like two months ago, while re-listening to TAZ Amnesty and it was mentioned that Joseph had what he called a delightful conversation with Jake. And then I decided to draw him interacting with other (named) residents of Amnesty Lodge, but I kept getting distracted by other stuff and I only did the last one earlier today.

this is all kinds of messy and not-great-looking but it’s really late and i’m really tired and yet i couldn’t wait till tomorrow because of all the validation i feel about loving the idea of sternclay from almost the moment joseph appeared (’almost’ being the end of the hunt for water, you know, when joseph dropped by the cryptonomica to view the bigfoot footage and ned kinda blew up on him ‘cause he was exhausted from the hunt? that moment?)

the second one started as barclay just picking up joseph but turned into a couple’s race that they are winning basically only because duck and minerva are visiting duck’s family and can’t crush everybody with their superior strength and endurance

when amnesty finale came out i got these ideas for post-canon short comic strips for the three canon ships. couldn’t focus enough to do them right away tho, so i drew each one in between doing other stuff. i’ve already made one for danbrey and waynerva, now’s the time for sternclay. this one turned out more sappy than funny.

ok, let’s do it like this: after the final episode of saturday night dead was aired at the cryptonomica, the amnesty lodge crew didn’t really want to be separated so barclay and jake got out a bunch of pillows and blankets, made a little nest on the floor of the lodge’s lobby and everyone just crashed right there.

if the shading looks bad and weird it’s because it is. i had no idea what i was doing (i usually don’t) but i started it and i would bloody well finish it.

i also gave duck a haircut ‘cause i was bored with the mullet.

after doing this for graduation i wanted to do one for amnesty too. i didn’t have another outfit meme saved though, so i just picked some outfits from my tumblr tag.

when mama first discovered the gate back in 1988 she killed off a couple of abominations and made contact with sylvain before mib found her (took them some time due to the whole radio quiet zone). kay was impressed enough that he recommended recruiting mama instead of neuralyzing her and zed agreed. a year later she recruited thacker. their task was to manage the abominations and find out what’s the deal with the gate while the rest of mib was busy with rapid increase of aliens moving in to new york.

leo never officially joined mib. when they found him fighting the abominations in new york they tried to wipe his memories out but it turns out that one of the perks of being chosen is that neuralyzers don’t work on you. and so leo kept doing his thing as an mib consultant. he met mama and thacker after he moved to kepler and has been helping out the pine guard from time to time.

after dealing with reconciliation the pine guard and joseph became mib consultants. barclay (who like any other alien had to register with mib) and minerva (who, while invisible to everyone else, accompanied leo on his tour) have already seen the mib headquarters so they’re just content watching their boyfriends’ reactions.

and, because it’s an au and i can do whatever i want, ned’s life gets saved by mib’s med team.

after aubrey, dani and harris come back from sylvain they probably stay on earth for a few months so it seems logical that harris should get his own disguise charm (and the longer he’s with aubrey the more he evolves and is eventually able to speak because i really want him to). indrid makes the charm and mama organises fake papers for one harris little, aubrey little’s adopted son.
