It wasn’t unknown that you and Giyuu had been dating, but the two of you had agreed to keep your relationship between the two of you. Besides it’s not like you wanted to go and openly talk about it. The rumors were there but nothing was confirmed. You always kept intimacies to yourselves as well. Waiting to hold hands and kissing until you were completely alone.
But one day the two of you had been summoned to a pillar meeting. Everything was pretty normal, you sat next to Giyuu and the meeting went as planned. Everyone eventually left as they finished some conversations they started after the meeting finished, some of them even carrying their conversations as they left. The two of you stood behind wanting to talk privately and maybe even share a kiss if the mood was right, but just the alone time was enough. You leaned into him just looking for a place to rest on his shoulder and he rested his own head over yours. You listened as the footsteps moved farther and farther away until they were heard no more.
After a minute or two of sitting in silence you looked up at him and placed a kiss on his jaw. He seemed a bit startled by the sudden kiss but soon he placed a kiss on your lips, holding it for a few seconds. That is until suddenly the door burst open with the sound of Shinobu and Kanroji’s voices as they both called for Giyuu. The two of you froze and quickly pulled away from one another, but not quick enough to not be see by the two. A small smug gasp left Shinobu’s mouth before she started speaking.”Ah- Should we leave you two lovebirds to have some alone time? Are we interrupting?” She used her hand to cover her mouth and she started closing the door, a smile on her face.
You couldn’t bring yourself to say anything, but you took one glance at Giyuu and a small nod only the two of you could see were traded. You got up and quickly left without saying anything (since you couldn’t bring yourself to talk anyway it’d make it worse to even try to talk) and Giyuu got up and asked what Shinobu and Kanroji needed to which Kanroji only squealed about how cute the two of you were and Giyuu only sighed since this was only the beginning of the teasing. And now made worse because two people have witnessed the two of you kissing and even worse one of them was Kanroji. She’s bound to talk about it and now she’s going to confirm the rumors for everyone. This is going to be a long week….
