Chapter 1: Chapter 1

Chapter Text

Jeongguk squinted his eyes as he drove his luxury car out of the basement garage, hand blindly rummaged the bag in the passenger seat while looking for his sunglasses case. It was only eight in the morning but the sun was already scorching hot.

To be honest it was the first time in so many many years Jeongguk had late to work, the first time in his professional career, he also hadn't check his emails yet this morning so he didn't really know what was going on in this industry while he'd been sleeping.

Because apparently that's how he begin his day, he'd usually woke up at six; worked out for fifteen minute after that he'd enjoyed his morning coffee, it took him around thirty to forty minute to check and replied his email before he got ready for work and arrived in the office around eight.

Unfortunately this morning Jeongguk had slept through his alarm and phone calls from his Secretary.

"Where are you?" That's what he heard as soon as he answered his phone. The agitated voice was coming from his Secretary if he wasn't in this situation he'd laugh at her, telling her 'I'm Jeon Jeongguk, I've never messing up' or something along the line.

"Uh. . almost there"

He wasn't lying though, the Jeon's Headquarter was around the corner but Jeongguk still had to drive through five or so traffic light.

"Okay, calm down" His Secretary mumbled more to herself from the other side, really, Jeongguk could imagine her being panicky on her table, he also could hear the sharp intake from the other line.

"Yes, calm down Noona, promise I'll be there in ten" He said and continued while he's making another stop in another red light "Or errr- fifteen?"

"Just hurry up Mr Jeon" The phone call was cut abruptly that's when he knew he's screwed. She's a very excellent Secretary, she had been doing a splendid job and for the last three years Jeongguk had her as Secretary, she took her job very highly and Jeongguk had been swearing he didn't want to see her wrath ever again especially when he's the one who made her angry. Shuddering at that thought, He stepped on his pedal gas as soon as the light turned green.

Jeon Jeongguk was a Chief Financial Officer, CFO in short, at The Jeon Group. He was only turning 28 this year, he'd featured in Forbes as '10 people that become CFO before 30' last year, been a CFO for three year he had done a very good job and showed people what he was really capable of.

Other board members were questioning his father decision at first, appointed him as the new CFO was too risky for Jeon Group because he had no experienced beside he had been working in Jeon Group for only six month.

"I seriously start to consider hiring personal driver" Jeongguk announced as he saw his Secretary, Lee Hayeong, rushed to him as soon as he'd step out of the elevator and gave him papers for his morning meeting that would be held in ten minutes, he had passed his hand bag to her.

Jeongguk indeed had a chauffeur, as one of the C-suite in big company he had a very busy schedule, his loads of work made it impossible for him to drive during work hour. He usually had been driven by the company's driver to his meetings and appointments outside the Jeon Group's quarter, he would read documents on the road but he was still driving his own car to go back and forth from work.

"I've reschedule your meeting with the accounting team to before lunch" Hayeoung was following him into his office, they're walking briskly through the long corridor while she informed him his schedule for today until Jeongguk sat on his seat.

"And just a reminder you promise dinner with your family tonight" She placed his morning coffee in front of him. Jeongguk looked up from the paper with questioning look on his face, Hayeong lifted her perfectly shaped eyebrows on disbelief "Hyunjeong birthday?" She reminded.

"Oh God, is that today?" She just rolled her eyes when he was scrunched his face comically on the realisation.

She knew what irritated him, it wasn't only about the dinner because he'd trust her with his schedule but today's his nephew's birthday and he totally forgot to buy a gift for Hyunjeong.

"I kinda forgot the present" He gave her puppy eyes "Noona, could you-"

"Don't worry I'd already bought it for you and wrapped it nicely" She said cooly as she's walking out of his office.

"Gosh Noona you're my savior" Jeongguk yelled at her before she could leave.

"It's a very expensive gift Mr Jeon, I expect you to pay me back before we're all leaving today" She said before closing the door.

.

Jeon Jeongguk had never been a summer boy, no, he didn't hate summer, he just didn't enjoyed it, he dreaded the extremely hot and humid air, ughh the sticky mess. Spring was his favourite season.

As he grew up and started having responsibilities he got more and more less excited over summer because summer meant a fresh start for Jeon Group, the new year for the company. Summer had been the busiest time of the year for Jeongguk, The Jeon Group would have the end of its busy season in June; one financial year drew to close while another was about to begin.

Actually the preparation for annual financial statement wasn't that different with what he had always doing on his monthly or quarterly report, he prepared detail budget for the board of director comparing current and previous period result with the company's goals and prior year results, he did financial forecast, also reviewing and approving financial statement from his team.

Technically he didn't have to do most of the thing, he has Leadership Team, Accounting Team, CPA and others that'd done the heavy lifting but he still need to guide them, consulting things and review their works so he could do presentation for the board members.

As a CFO in a big company that had more than five subsidiary companies under it, Jeongguk was always busy on daily basis; He attended meetings three to five times per day, he talked with a lot of people, he planned and analyzed projects, he met some of important investors.

It wasn't that bad though, he's likely to get holiday or weekends on himself.

"Our main candidate is Park Jimin, he's very popular in public and has a good image too in public" Jeongguk had this page with Park Jimin's profile on his hands, he stared a tad too long at the little profile picture attached at the corner of the page.

"People also calling him Charity Angel because he'd always donating for the greater good" One of the staff tried to speak again after the lack of respond from their CFO.

"He was the ambassador of bookforeveryone campaign that held by Park Corps. last year?" Was the first comment he made after he shook himself from his stupor, honestly he didn't hear any of the discussion after he looked at the Park Jimin's profile, so he just asked random question.

He was on a meeting with one of Jeon Group's subsidiary company for one of their next campaign for Seagull Bank. Jeon Finance Co., had collaboration with KimC Holding to made an education campaign for orphans who either lived with their family or at the orphanage.

"Yeah, the campaign was aimed for the seniors who live in island"

"The campaign was very successful, Park Corps. build libraries at five different city near islands and provide teachers so the seniors could learning how to read and write" Namjoon who was sitting at the head table across of him added, looking at Jeongguk as if he waited for something, a reaction from him. "I think Park Jimin is very suitable to be the ambassador for our campaign what do you think Mr Jeon?"

This was his last meeting for the day before he went home with Namjoon after this. They had invited Namjoon's family to Hyunjeong's dinner birthday tonight.

He exhaled deeply and broke eye contact with Namjoon. "Of course, his track record is very amazing, it will be great for us if he wants to join us." That was the truth, he really wished Park Jimin would gladly work with Jeon group.

.

.

"Woooah Kookie Samcheon thank you sooo much" The boy in front of Jeongguk was trying to stand up, getting rid of wrappers that scattered around him and running toward him for a hug.

Jeongguk opened his hands widely to welcome him, Hyunjeong was giving him a bone crushing hug. The five-year old boy practically hung on his neck he had to support him to make sure the boy won't fall.

"Do you like the gift I gave you?" Jeongguk asked with much effort, he's trying to pry the tight trip on his neck smoothly.

"Eung" The little boy nodded eagerly at his question, moving back his head to looked at Jeongguk's face "Thank you Samcheon" He said once again, kissing his uncle on the cheek before ran back to his design seat to cleanup the mess he made. His father asked him to cleanup when he finished open the gifts before he'd go to bed.

"Yaaa Hyunjeong-Ah why didn't you gave me kiss when you opened mine?" Kim Taehyung pouted from his seat across Jeongguk but he only got a small "Don't wanna", he crumpled up his face and held out his tongue before said "Merong"

"Does Kookie's present that good" Taehyung gave scandalous look at Hyunjeong. Really, Jeongguk didn't know what the gift was but he trusted Hayeong Noona not to pick something that harmful for five-year old boy. He was just happy when his nephew's happy.

Jeongguk chuckled at their interaction, leaving those two together he went to the kitchen for water only to find his brother swiftly moved around the kitchen with a baby bottle on his hand. "Is that for Ahjeong?"

"Eung" His brother answered without looking up, forehead creased at full concentration when he's filling the bottle with formula powder. He smiled at his brother, Jeongguk knew where Hyunjeong got all of his habit. "She's hungry" He added.

It was almost ten, the house was almost empty their parents and grandparents had already retreat half an hour ago, Taehyung's parents had gone back home with Namjoon after dinner around eight. With the workers who occasionally appeared to help them in case they need anything the mansion was felt so empty for Jeongguk.

"Gguk-Ah, when was the last time you properly rest?" His brother joined him at the island as he's waiting the water to boil. Jeongguk was rubbing his face roughly as he took of his facade in front of his big brother. "Eomma was so worried"

"I know, she was practically shoved every 'healthy' food at me" Jeonghyun chuckled as he recalled their mother had took every food available on table and offering to Jeongguk, had Taehyung teased her if she made some for him too.

"Take it easy Gguk, you have such a wonderful team, you'll do good like always" Jeongguk snorted when his brother's giving him a comfort smile before he stood up "Appa is very proud of you Kookie, always"

Sometimes he was forgot the brother he had was a father of two now, they're two grownups. Between them, Jeonghyun had always been the wiser one, he hadn't sure if it's because Jeonghyun was older or was it only just his personality, but he was always grateful for his big brother.

"Hyung gomawo" Jeonghyun threw a small smile at Jeongguk let him knew he'd hear him before he backed to his task. They stayed like that for a while in a comfortable silence.

"Anyway you spoil Hyunjeong too much" Jeonghyun finally finished with the formula for his baby daughter.

"I do not, my nephew's just such a brat" Defended Jeongguk.

"Of course he is, he is very much like you" Jeonghyun tenderly ruffled his hair but his little brother pouted just as he always did when he didn't get his way. "But he's your son" He laughed at Jeongguk's childish act.

"Jeon Hyunjeong are you finish cleanup everything?" He called his son's when he was walking out of the kitchen.

Jeongguk watched from the kitchen when the boy who had toys on both hands started to jump on the couch, Taehyung stayed by his side, he had his hand midair prevent the little devil to fall "Appa can I play with it before I go to sleep?"

"Nope, Eomma and Aga are waiting for us now"

Taehyung took Hyunjeong in his arms as he's walking to Jeonhyung, his nephew had this cute pout on his face, rubbing his eyes obviously the boy was sleepy.

"You should play it with Jiwon when you visit him tomorrow" Taehyung murmured at him, Jiwon was his cousin from his mother side, those two were like a energizer rabbit Jeonghyun once had joked about them reminded him of Jeongguk and Taehyung on their glory days, little devils.

Every time Hyunjeong came from Busan and stayed in the mansion or visit him at his apartment Jiwon would come with him, he'd also ask Taehyung to taking care the boys.

"Are you guys staying?" Jeonghyun asked both Jeongguk and Taehyung while he's taking Hyunjeong from Taehyung.

"Nah, we're leaving soon" Jeongguk joined them silently, letting Taehyung answered for him. "And don't worry-" Taehyung grabbed Jeongguk in his arm and giving him a headlock "I will drive this big baby to his apartment"

Hyunjeong giggled at the name Taehyung gave to Jeongguk "Kookie Samcheon is a baby"

"No, Jeongie is the baby here"

"Ani Jeongie is an Oppa now, Jeongie isn't a baby anymore, Ahjeong is a baby" He leaned his head on his father's shoulder and started to sucking on his three fingers.

"You guys are my babies forever" Jeonghyun said, kissing his son's forehead "I'll send you off after put him to bed, okay?"

"Nah, don't worry Hyung, we'll just leave now" Jeongguk ushered his brother, tapping his back slightly toward the stairs. "It's okay Hyung, you'll be back to Busan on Sunday right?"

His Hyung was here for the year-end closing statements, as the CEO from one of Jeon Group's subsidiary, Namoojib Furniture and just like the year before they'd celebrate Hyunjeong's birthday together.

"Let's get breakfast together later"

"Anyway do you remember Kang Jaesung?" Taehyung started when he stopped on the red light. Looked over to Jeongguk when he didn't answer, he had his head turned outside window, Taehyung couldn't see his face properly but from the reflection on the window he knew he was awake. "I think he was the class president once, I don't know, do you remember him?"

Jeongguk sneered, Kang Jaesung, of course he remembered who he was. He didn't even sure if he would ever forget about that guy. "I guess, why?"

"He came to my workshop this afternoon and gave me this" Taehyung had stopped at the red light and reached for the compartment box, taking out two dark luxury design envelopes for Jeongguk to take. He read the title and raised his eyebrows at his cousin who sat in the driver seat.

The word 'ALUMNI REUNION AND BANQUET' was printed on the luxury paper beneath the gold logo of their academy, sliding the card out of the envelope that had his name on it, Taehyung let him be for a minute.

"Are you coming?" Jeongguk asked him finally when he finished. After he'd put the card back to it place, he leaned his head on the headrest and closed his eyes, Taehyung looked at him briefly 'Ah he must be tired' he thought.

"Yeah, of course, why not" Taehyung softly spoke. "Are you?"

"I don't know" Jeongguk mumbled sleepily, he had his eyes open now, turning his heard toward Taehyung he told him he probably was too busy to came.

"You should come, you know" Taehyung begun. "I know for sure Namjoon Hyung will be coming, he'll say something like it's important to rekindle the relationship between us, peers, but in the end we all knew it's all just business. He'll be forcing us to come" Absolutely, that probably would happen, he smiled.

They we're quite for the rest of the drive until they arrived at Jeongguk's apartment. Taehyung called him as Jeongguk stepped out of his car, Jeongguk closed the door and looked back at him through the open car window. "I heard Park Jimin had been invited too"

Jeongguk stilled for a moment at that statement but he couldn't give any respond as Taehyung's car was already faraway.

"I'm sorry Mr. Park but you have meeting with Mr. Kim in fifteen minute" Hwang Jinhee popped his head from the slightly open door, making the two men in the room frowned, especially Park Jimin that couldn't really hide his disappointment at the announcement. Her beautiful face scrunched up as she met Jimin's gaze and gave him an apologetic smile before leave the two men alone again.

"I guess that's my cue to leave Jiminie" The man across of Jimin said after sighing quietly, he tried very hard not to show his disappointment too much in front of his little brother because he knew that his dongsaeng would start to blame himself.

"I'm sorry for wasting your time like this Hyung" Jimin started to play with his fingers. He felt horrible.

"Why are you sorry, Minnie?" The guy raised from the floor he was sit and rounded the table to sat right beside Jimin, cupping his cheeks gently so he could see right through the smaller guy's eyes.

"I'm happy I could spent time with my dongsaeng, yes it's unfortunate that it should get cut short just because of my meeting but I would do it again even only to see you for five minute"

Today's lunch had been planed since a week ago when his big brother had gone to New York for conference. His Hyung was a very busy man but he'd always made a time for Jimin despite his busy schedule that's why he'd promised lunch with Jimin when he'd arrived in Seoul.

"Still, you're a busy man. Your every seconds are precious but I'd come here twenty minute late, I'm sorry" Jimin really was disappointed on himself.

Jimin was also a very busy person too, his brother knew that and he understood. The older wrapped his long hands around his dongsaeng before he could look away "Aigoo, our little Jiminie, my sweet Mochi, you are more precious to me"

"What happen today was something that you couldn't help, you have responsibility too. Don't be too hard on yourself little Mochi. I'm proud of you" He had let go of the hug and now staring at his dongsaeng with genuine smile on his face.

His little brother, Park Jimin, was The Nation It Boy, a singer, dancer, choreographer and musical actor that stole Korean's hearts. With his angelic face, cute button nose, crescent eyes smile, he always knew that his little brother was born for this; for the stage, for people. He was a proud brother even thought he couldn't express it in public.

Yes, except for family and close friends no body knew that Park Jimin the celebrity was the second born child of Park Jihwan the founder of Park Corps. and the CEO of Skybridge Industry, that made him the second in line to take over the company.

Park Jimin was twenty-eight now but what could he say, in the eyes of his friends and families he'd always be forever the cute maknae they knew, so it was so natural for Jimin to acted like this in front of them.

"How about I promise you something, you know how good I am at keeping a promise, right?" His brother whipped Jimin's eyes when he saw his dongsaeng's watery eyes, smiling when Jimin just nodded his head cutely. "Eommo-nim told me that you planning to spend this weekend in Busan with Eomma what if I'm coming with you"

"Really?" Jimin beamed at that, he balled his hand jutting out his pinky finger. "You promise Hyung"

"Of course Jiminie, beside I can't remember the last time I'd spent a whole day with you and Eomma" His brother showed his pinky and locking their pinky together.

"Mr Park Jihyun we really need to go now" Jinhee appeared again when her boss hadn't come out, there's a warning on her tone that made Jimin shuddered. Hwang Jinhee was no joke, she had a strong character.

"Ahh yes, of course Miss Hwang, just give me a minute yes" He raised his eyebrows at her but got a hard glare from her instead, she mouthed 'one minute' before took her leave again for the second time.

"Now what shall we do with all of this" He pointed to all of the untouched food on the table.

"It's okay Hyung, I'll take care of this, I'll ask the waiter to take all of this out and order some more foods, I was planning to visit the studio anyway, it's been awhile since I treat them food" Jimin said, dismissing his brother to hurry up because he surely didn't want to get Ms Hwang's wreath.

"Arraseo, Hyung will leave now, talk to you later Minnie"

.

.

Jimin had always loved Wednesday, Wednesday was studio day, a day where Jimin spent a day in studio from noon till evening, dancing with his friends and his students. He had made luncheon plan with his brother on Wednesday because he was usually free at that time day but his new schedule ruined everything.

Jimin had to reschedule interviews this week with two magazines because he had to attend an award show in Japan two days prior but he didn't realize his manager had to reschedule it on Wednesday.

The interviews had ended fairly good, Jimin had fun with the interviewer and they're also respect Jimin's privacy, didn't asked silly question or other stuffs outside from his new upcoming album and his achievements, but the second interview had been dragging too long because of malfunctioning on the camera. Among celebrity in Korea Park Jimin was known as an angel, he was very nice toward every journalist.

Today his colleague, Taemin, was teaching new choreography and usually it tended to be very crowdy in studio every time new choreograph was out. They were cheering at Jimin when he came with a bunch of take out food with him.

Jimin was sitting in the corner of studio after dancing for two hours straight to burned all of the calories he'd consumed at lunch when his phone turned off, it was Jung Hoseok, his Hyung and best friend.

"Hyung" Jimin walked out of the rowdy room with his sling bag on his shoulder, phone hang on the crook of his neck as he's taking his tumblers on his right hands and his jacket on his left, he signalled Taemin that he'd done practice and going to change now, Taemin nodded back at him. "Jiminie are you at the studio right now?"

"Uh-huh"

"When will you finish?" Jimin gave a relief sighed, glad that the private changing room was empty as he slid into the empty room. He unceremoniously sat on the bench and let his bag and jacket fall to the ground, he was so tired "What is it Hyung? I finished already though"

"Jinnie Hyung is at Gangnam-Gu right now, he'd asked if you could join dinner with us?" Jimin perked up at that, he really missed Kim Seokjin. The older guy was staying in Thailand for the last three months, he'd been preparing for his opening restaurant in Bangkok that just opened yesterday.

"Absolutely Hyung, I missed him so much"

"I know right, I even missed his joke" Jimin laughed at that, Seokjin and Hoseok were one of a view people that he cherish the most. The three of them were loud so Jimin found comfort with that.

"Actually I kinda missed you too Hobi Hyung" Hoseok had been busy too, preparing for fall and winter season with his clothing line, Jimin too had been busy preparing for his next comeback and an anniversary concert. They didn't really had time to hangout. "Awwww Minnie, I missed you too"

It wasn't mean they hadn't met for long time, actually Hoseok and Jimin just had a quick brunch together two days ago when he had been arrived from award show in Japan "Anyway, could you pick me up Hyung?"

"Of course Minnie, I'll be there in thirty"

.

.

Laughter filled one of the private room in the luxury Barbeque restaurant in Gangnam. Three friends who hadn't seen each other for months were finally met, catching up with their life.

"And then what did you do Hyung?" The youngest out of three asked, he seemed to be engrossed in Seokjin's story, chopstick's hovering midair waiting the story to reached the climax.

"She yelled at everyone and said she'd sued me for defamation" Seokjin paused his story to put more food on his plate, Jimin frowned at the information while he's looking at Jin with worried "Are you okay?"

"I'm okay Minnie, don't worry your pretty little head" Jin gave him a reassure smile, he knew Jimin could be a worrywart most of the time "Remember that Daddy-long-leg I told you about, he was there with me. He said she could sue me for defamation but I could sue her for defamation and slandering too"

Jung Hoseok saw the look on the youngest, he realised Jimin wouldn't let this Seokjin being sue thing go. "It's been what? A year? When will you introduce us to this great Daddy-long-leg you keep talking about" Started Hoseok, trying to diver the conversation.

"He's real-, right?" Hoseok fumbled when Seokjin's glaring at him "I mean, come on Hyung, why would you hide him from us. Except-?" He gasped all of a sudden, giving Seokjin a dirty look.

"Except what" Jimin whispered and leaned his body closer to Hoseok "Except that he is on the police most wanted list"

"YAAH" Jimin's giggle filled the room, he missed this, the bickering between his Hyungs, Jin's old man joke, Hoseok's screech "So what's with all the secrecy Hyung? Even if he's some kind of crime lord, we won't tell a soul"

"I'll tell you when we're ready but for now I assured you that he's a very nice guy" Jin said.

"Anyway-" Hoseok cleared his throat after he took out something from his bag. "Jjajjang!" He announced, showing two envelope that Seokjin quickly grabbed because he sat closer to Hoseok.

"Gosh, I thought it's your wedding invitation" Jin's grumbled as he slide one envelope to Jimin.

His middle school academy logo, Golden Generation Academy, was printed in the middle with the word Alumni Banquet and Reunion, Park Jimin was written in the bottom of the envelope. He'd raised his eyebrows at Hoseok, waiting for an explanation.

"Where did you get this?" Seokjin asked first before Hoseok could answered Jimin.

"Na Inyoung visited me last week in my office, before you ask, her family is our new sponsor for the next f/w season, so yeah" Jimin scoffed as he read one of the paragraph on the card; let's recall fond memories.

"I don't understand why would they inviting me?" the word that came out of Jimin's mouth was making Jin and Hoseok stopped talking.

"Why wouldn't they invite you?"

"Well I only attend GGA for three year and a half-" Started Jimin, he continued when both of his Hyungs kept giving him sceptical look "Beside, except you guys and Sungjae and Junghee I hadn't have a friends during my school year there"

"Minnie-"

"No Hyung you don't understand, I don't see the point in going, I already know what's going to be there" Jimin mindlessly twirled his noodle dish with chopstick. "It's because I'm a celebrity, isn't it?"

Maybe because he tired with his next album preparation and all of the rehearsal for his musical he'd gotten very sensitive lately. Sungjae had joked maybe he already started male menopause phase because he got too work up over small thing lately.

"Yaaah, isn't that a good thing?" Jimin frowned at Hoseok's words. "You're invited because you're famous I mean"

"Right, you've proven your worth Minnie." Seokjin started to talk between his chew that made Hoseok grimace "You are here because all of your hard work Jimin, not because of your family. You're bullied just because they thought you're not rich because apparently you have to be rich to be on that school. You stood up for other students that got bullied too"

"That's why I'm asking why'd they invite me? I mean obviously they had hated me all these years" Jimin asked them the same question again.

"For the same reason you told us before" Jin stopped eating, putting down the chopstick and poured soju in to his glass, he motioned Jimin to bring his glass to be refill "What? Because I'm famous"

"Bingo? You've to looked at the bigger picture Jimin" Jimin just squinted his brow as Hoseok was clapping his hands like a seal at Jin like he just invented something amazing. "Waaaaw Hyung, you're so smart!"

At this point Jimin was really confused, what made his Hyung so excited. He was bullied back when he'd attended GGA Junior High, so why, except Seokjin, Hoseok, Sungjae and Junghee he didn't have the best relationship with the kids there.

"Wait I don't get it, really" Jimin blinked his eyes rapidly, he really hadn't catch anything from their conversation.

"Yaa, Golden Generation Academy is a very prestigious Academy in South Korea, most of the kids who attend are mostly coming from rich families. Do you think what's the purpose of this reunion for them?"

Tried to remember what Jihyun Hyung always said every time he had to attended a party back in the day despite he despised it so much "Uhm, I don't know, Networking?"

"Dingdingding, networking! Half of the kids we grew up with in the GGA are a businessman now or someone who has power or on the way there at least. They wanted to make a connection with the great Park Jimin" Seokjin had grabbed Jimin's hand and made a shaking-hand gesture.

"And what? Seriously Hyung what would I gain from that?"

"Actually Park Jimin don't you want to get back to them, like ever?" Seokjin sighed loudly "They'd been hurt you"

What they'd done to him was hurt indeed but Jimin learnt from his beautiful mother, Kang Minyoung, she'd been asked him to let all of the heartache go and shouldn't let all of the anger consume him, you didn't have to forgive just move on, you'd be more happy that way.

His other mother too had told him almost the same thing as her, Cho Yihyun, the most successful businesswoman in Korea, had teach him that you couldn't get success with all of the revenge you cling onto. Success was the best revenge but don't let it be the only reason for you to succeed because once you succeed then what, you'd losing your purpose, you'd be happy for awhile but what about your long-term happiness.

"I don't know Hyung" Jimin slipped his hand from Seokjin and reached the pitcher from the corner of the table. And started to fill their empty glass "Just like what I said, what would I gain?"

Honestly it was easier said than done, it'd been hard for him too as he decided to leave GGA in the middle of his junior year in high school to pursue his dream, leaving Sungjae alone in that school.

"You know what Hyung, I think you should sign up on yoga class or something, to find your inner peace" Hoseok was trying hard to lighten up the mood, Jimin was grateful. But maybe Hoseok's right, he should ask them to join yoga class with him.

"Yaaa, don't pretend you aren't agree with me" Jin slapped his back hard, and received small groan from Hoseok "Awww Hyung, that hurts"

Hoseok pouted and hugged Jimin "I do agree with you but unfortunately our Chimchim here has a different level soul with us, a first grade soul"

"I seriously can't wait until they find out who you are Jimin-Ah" Jimin chuckled at that because the truth was he also couldn't wait for that to happen but of course that would effect his career. "The son of Park Jihwan, your family practically was right under the Jeon on the richest list"

There was a brief silent loomed over them.

"Are you already drunk?" It was Hoseok that tried to break the ice.

"I'm sorry Minnie" Jin bit his lip.

"It's okay Jinnie Hyung, there's nothing to sorry about"

It wasn't like he didn't want to hear any Jeon name because Jeon was kinda common name in South Korea, and Jeon family was the richest and famous family in Korea. He heard news about The Jeon's on daily basis, also he had worked a view time for company that apart of Jeon's Group.

But it was like a common knowledge for his friends for not mentioning about Jeon and their heir, Jeon Jeongguk, when Jimin's around. Especially Jin and Hoseok who knew about Jimin's real reason. Everyone remained silent for a while after that, each of them busy nursing soju's glass.

"Sometimes I really wonder how we became friend" Seokjin asked, he looked waste already, maybe it's time to go home. "We are all three different people but we become this close"

Hoseok gulped his soju that Jimin just fill for him "Umm, we have one thing in common" He said between his giggle. Jimin knew that he too must be drunk, he had the best alcohol tolerance among them after all.

Jimin also took a long swig on his soju glass and sighed as he gulped. "We are all the trust fund babies Hyung"
