BTS’ dance studio was never a quiet place. Music was always blasting through the speakers on the walls, the sound of feet crashing against the wooden floor as seven men danced their bodies to exhaustion. This time, however, barks and laughter replaced the music, painting the walls with happiness and joy.
Dance practice was already over for the day, so the rest of the band had already left to do whatever they had to do except for Jungkook and Taehyung, who had decided to stay a little longer. It was one of those rare days their schedule wasn’t crazily busy – for a change, the Bangtan Boys had some time for themselves before they needed to finish the last touches for their approaching comeback.
Jungkook smiled fondly at Taehyung, who was currently on the floor playing around with Yeontan, and decided to grab his phone and record the scene. Yeontan, the puppy everyone so deeply loved, was going to stay with his dads and uncles for the weekend, which was just as much as a responsibility as a pleasure. Now, he was jumping around his dad’s legs and barking happily.
Taehyung was doing cute tricks with Yeontan, giving him treats as a reward and smiling proudly and eyeing Jungkook behind the camera every time the puppy did the tricks right. At some point, he started to pretend to bite Yeontan, the Pomeranian putting his cute little paw to Taehyung’s face as if he had slapped him. Jungkook burst out laughing with that, his boyfriend pouting at him and whining.
“My son slapped me and you’re laughing?” Taehyung complained although he joined Jungkook laughing. “Tannie, go bite Kook!” he pointed at Jungkook and pushed the dog towards the man, who held him in his arms as he switched the camera to self-mode. The maknae smiled widely at the camera once Yeontan started to lick his face instead of biting it.
“Tannie could never bite me, Taehyungie-hyung. See, he loves me,” Jungkook winked at Taehyung, who just rolled his eyes and got up.
(Jungkook could swear he heard the older say “And he’s not the only one.”)
Taehyung went behind Jungkook’s chair, showing up on the frame again as he petted Yeontan’s fur, letting his other arm fall around Jungkook’s neck to fondle with the man’s ear. He smiled at Jungkook through the camera, the younger smiling back at him, and they just stood there for some time staring at each other like dorks in love. Yeontan took that moment to jump from Jungkook’s lap back to the floor and Taehyung grabbed Jungkook’s chin to give him a kiss on the lips, winking at him before going back to play with his puppy.
“I was going to put the video on Twitter, you know,” Jungkook mumbled, looking pointedly at Taehyung who just shrugged at him playfully.
“You can still do it. Just cut the kissing part.”
Jungkook just rolled his eyes but did so. He cut out the part where Taehyung had kissed him – yet still saving the full video on his phone – and uploaded the edited version to Twitter. In the caption, Jungkook put a dog emoji (🐶), a smiley face (😆) and a purple heart (💜), with two hashtags bellow it: #뷔국 (#Vkook) and #탄이 (#Tannie).
Needless to say, Twitter went crazy that day.
