Summary
As she was reaching the end of the park and the sound of kids was fainting something caught her attention. A girl was sitting by herself on a bench. She was crying. That scene tore Nicole. She wanted to go talk to the girl, try to help her, but at the same time she didn’t want to intrude. She stopped walking and sat on the curb while she decided what to do. The other woman looked so sad and lost that it broke Nicole’s heart.
