The Miraculous Box is a wonderful, magical thing that has been in the hands of Hanyuu Furude for many years. She looked after it during life, but when it failed to protect her most loved ones, she left the box inside the Saiguden without a keeper. Years later, with the sudden death and disappearance of Rika Furude's parents, Hanyuu entrusts the Miracle Box with a keeper once more.
With the ever-spinning wheels of fate, Rika Furude comes to understand the importance of these magical jewels. After suffering for almost one hundred years, ignoring the existence of the Miraculous, she grows tired and defeated so she seeks guidance from Oyashiro-sama. She passes the Miraculous of the Ladybug and Cat onto two new holders, and finds determination within herself once more to discover the truth of the past hundred years, as well as retrieving the long-lost Butterfly and Peacock Miraculous. This is her last chance to grasp the miracle she's been seeking all these years, and she must act before dark forces are fated to seize the Miraculous of Ladybug and Chat Noir.
